I like Saturn. Maybe it's because mine's in Taurus. I think those with an earth sign Saturn tend to do better than those with Saturn in other elements. My Saturn Return was great - I got really organized, cut everything negative out of my life, put myself back together after a really rough period of years, built a new and more solid foundation and started over.I seem to be fine with transiting Saturn. Neptune - that's the one that really gets to me. When transiting Neptune squared my natal Saturn not too long ago it was awful. The worst transit I ever had though was when transit Pluto was squaring my natal Moon and Nodes. That was a true nightmare. My entire life crumbled - to an extreme degree - but then I had my Saturn Return and rebuilt myself and began a new life. IP: Logged |

Tigerlily ~tPluto sq Moon was the *worst* transit I can remember..... Today tSaturn is almost exact in opposing my Moon while tUranus is heading back for conjunction with it, and very soon now tSaturn will conjunct my nVenus at 02Lib11 -- so far, so good That is, until tPluto gets back to the neighborhood of squaring it IP: Logged |

I guess how our n.Saturn is aspected would play a big role in whether we like him much. My Saturn makes only two tight aspects: a minor square with Chiron, and an exact sextile with Mercury. Adding to the mental influence, Saturn rules my 3rd house. And thank god for that! I don't even wanna know what my Sun-Neptune cnj would be up to without Saturn's help. I'm also thankful to have Venus in Cap, since I have Pisces on the 5th. Cap/Saturn filters out the garbage.MVM - appropriately kinky, lol, I like that. I have Saturn sextile my Mercury-Uranus cnj. I'm all about being appropriately inappropriate. IP: Logged |

I like Saturn, even though he conjuncts my South node and opposes my North Node. Saturn offers opportunity. On the front of Liz Greene's book he holds a lamp. And anyway, Saturn's scared too. He shows us what we most fear by the sign and placement. I think that's helpful. I'm with Zala, Uranus, Pluto and Neptune are the real mavericks. Pluto *shudder* IP: Logged |

I am believer that Saturn in a specific house shows an area that you can excel and succeed in beyond your wildest dreams...IF you do the WORK. I think I read somewhere that some of the world's richest people have Saturn in the 10th house. Saturn is about reaping benefits only from the work you put in. No freebies here! I think Jupiter is about freebies, coasting, and the nice gift with purchase. I have saturn in Virgo in my first house conjunct my North Node square my sun and mercury! And I just had my saturn return about a year ago, and it was NOT fun, but necessary. IP: Logged |

GemGemGem,You've just made me VERY happy! I have Saturn in the 10th house, so I guess I have a shot at becoming wealthy! Then again, I do have Pluto in the tenth as well, so that may cause some fluctuations in my finances. *sigh* Tigerlily, I'm going through that Neptune square Saturn transit at the moment, though so far my life is going by very well after many years of pain. What kinds of things happened to you while you were going through this transit? EDIT: I don't mean to pry. You certainly do not have to talk about anything too personal. I just wondered what I should beware of, generally speaking, during the neptune square saturn transit. Azalaksh I really feel for you in regards to your pluto square moon transit. I have this aspect natally and it hurts like hell! The world can turn upside down in a heartbeat with this aspect. Not fun at all... IP: Logged |

I both love and hate saturn. That aspect get me depressed sometimes so I must change my life. I have saturn in square to my moon in natal. My depressed feelings force me to take a decision to change. Saturn give me a great patience. My saturn in trine to my stellium venus,N.N mars help me. Saturn helped me in my up and downs in my lovelife. Saturn give me patience to stay and work also when life is hard . I do not giving up. I was poor ones a time but now I am rich.Saturn give me patience and good job with much money. Security. But sometimes I hate saturn because I must have my up and down in my lovelife(venus,N.N;mars stellium). I wish I will be togheter with one real love in the rest of my life. I hate saturn sometimes becasue I think it's saturn who always stop my relationship. I think saturn do not like the men I meet. But when I think of the old times I always thanks saturn and the life for the experience and understand why saturn stop the process. But when I'm in it I do not understand. For me saturn in my chart are so strong and looks like my father who stop and change my life. Saturn let me know that everything turns out for the best in the end. IP: Logged |

Astra, for me and others I've compared notes with, the transiting Neptune square natal Saturn experience often manifests as being a time when your thinking is muddled and you can't see clearly, things are very murky and frustratingly nebulous, and your very foundation is shaken up and no longer seems sound or stable. It's hard to make sense of things and you often feel like you're sinking in quicksand instead of standing on solid ground. When transit Neptune squared my natal Saturn my mind and my focus were unclear and fuzzy. I couldn't see with much clarity during that time - it was as if everything was under a cloud, just out of reach of understanding. It can be a rather disconcerting and unpleasant feeling, particularly for those with usually sharp minds and highly developed clarity. I found Transit Neptune to have that typical "dissolving effect" - dissolving the structure and foundation that I spent many years carefully re-building after my Saturn Return. I felt like I was sinking in quickstand and had nothing solid to grab onto. After the transit passed though, the new and improved structure I had carefully built during and after my Saturn Return proved to be sound in the end; it was just when Transit Neptune squared my natal Saturn, everything was suddenly in question and the solidity of my structure felt like it had dissolved away into nothing, and everything seemed hazy.
