Lucia,I checked out your transits
using whole sign house system
Pluto is 5 degrees conjunct your Ascendant applying, and that's very wide for a Pluto transit. Most astrologers use up to 3 degree orb for transits. I am not sure about using orbs that big for Pluto either. I use no more than 3 degree orb for natal Pluto because it's a dwarf planet, and it has over 1,000 transneptunian neighbors. Pluto is not alone. Aspects involving Pluto's fellow transneptunians can easily account for wide orb Pluto aspect effects. Pluto is one of 3 transneptunian dwarf planets aka plutoids. There are other big transneptunians that will be joining them.
Transiting Pluto is in your 1st house.
It has already entered the 1st house in the whole sign house system.
Transiting Pluto entering the 1st house in the whole sign house system is like it conjuncting the Ascendant in house systems that use the Ascendant as the beginning of the 1st house.
In whole sign house system,Transiting Pluto is already in your 1st house. In other house systems, Transiting Pluto is in the 12th house.
Transiting South Lunar Node in Cancer is in your 7th house, and that can indicate the possibility of getting involved with relationships from the past (maybe pastlives), psychologically it could be that you make connections with others as instinctive Cancer trait become more evident in the psyche.
Transiiting North Lunar Node in Capricorn in your 1st can indicate that there are karmic lessons involving being self efficient, independent. Connections can be made with others that involving your ability to be ambitious, responsible as well as self sufficient, independent.
Transiting Mars in Cancer is in your 7th house, and that can indicate assertiveness, energy into relationships, partnerships, others
Transiting retrograde Neptune is in your 2nd house in an applying opposition to your Sun (the archetypal male) in 8th (sexual, intimate matters) with 2'13 orb.
That could indicate the possibility of idealistic, dreamy relationship connections with men.
Please note that opposition is the aspect that correlates with Libra and 7th house, and so the aspects does have to do with relationships, partnerships, and others. Please be aware of possible deception, confusion, illusion involving others. If those things are avoided, relationships with men can be inspirational, spiritual, mystical. Definitely very romantic and creative.
As I suspected, you have a close transit involving one of fellow Pluto's fellow big transneptunians which can easily account for identifying with wide orbed Pluto transits.
Transiting retrograde Sedna is in your 5th house (romance) in an applying square with your Sun in Leo in 8th with 5 minutes of arc.
Sedna is no mere asteroid either! It's the 5th largest transneptunian after Eris (1st largest), Pluto (2nd largest), Makemake (3rd largest), and (Haumea (4th largest). It is a dwarf planet candidate that is larger than dwarf planet, Ceres. It will be classed as dwarf planet soon. It's size guarantees its classification as dwarf planet.
with it's orbit of over 10,000 years. It has the longest orbit of all. It is the most outer object in the solar system. Therefore, the most metaphysically-oriented object.
It's named after the Inuit Goddess of the Oceans and Underworld. Therefore, it is Neptune-Pluto like in its astrological influence, but more otherworldly and intense.
with it being a transneptunian, it has to do with evolutionary intensified experiences.
with that in mind, the transit could indicate metaphysically-orientation, evolutionary intensified experiences involving men. There is the need to avoid abuse, betrayal, and victimization which was a part of the Sedna myth. There can be compassion, high conscious awareness/understanding,nurturing/caring on a collective level that also fits with Sedna myth.
astronomy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedna_%28astronomical_object%29
mythology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedna_%28deity%29
according to Philip Sedgwick:
Sedna - She is the first body to bear the mythology of the arctic's Inuit culture. Orbital Period: 11,013.05 yr.
Positive - a forgiving disposition, discernment, clarity of perception, recognition of free will and choice, responsible, conscious of consequence, far thinking, dharma-oriented, does the homework of life
Negative - victimization, abuse, being deceived, history of betrayal, bitterness, “gold digging” attitude in relationship, transfers blame to others, numbs out, goes unconscious
Mundane - blubber, products made from sea mammals, whaling, diving bells that go into the dark of the sea, emotional healing, forgiveness, sorrow, engagement, masks, flight of the birds
Ceremonial - cleansing in the sea, propitiation to the sea, sea creatures, use of sea creature talismans (walrus tusk carvings, scrimshaw), ceremony with masks of sea creatures, ceremonial masks in general
You can avoid the negative Sedna traits and go for the positive Sedna traits.
Close aspects involving the bigr transneptunians besides Pluto can easily account for wide orbed Pluto aspect effects.
That's why I believe it is very important for astrologers to be up to date with astronomical discoveries.
I also checked your Secondary progressions:
using whole sign house system
Your progressed Mars is conjunct Pluto in 10th with 59 minutes applying. It could indicate the possibility of attracting powerful, ambitious men that could help you with your career.
Your Moon is progressed in 11th house, and that can indicate the possibility of increased social activity, friendships
also checked solar arcs
Solar Arc Neptune is in opposition to your Moon in 7th house with 4 minutes of arc applying.
this indicates that feelings in relationships are more idealistic, dreamy, sensitive now. There is the need to avoid deception, confusion, illusion involving your feelings with others. It can be a time for inspiration, spirituality, creativity. a lot of imagination too.
keep in mind that Solar Arc pictures last only a year
30 minutes of arc before exactitude - 6 months
30 minutes of arc after exactitude - 6 months
a total of 1 year
