quote: Lucia & Chesire, I'm curious as to how having so many retrograde planets have affected your lives? Why do you Lucia love it, and you Chesire hate it??
Oh, well I don't have a lot--just Jupiter and Neptune. I notice that when transiting Jupiter is Retrograde, I have extraordinary good luck. With Retro Neptune (in my 11th in Placidus, 12th in other house systems), I see it as part of a running theme through my chart--in order to truly grow into myself and be ecstatically happy, I need to move towards Neptune/12th house/Piscean energy. The theme shows up in: -Sag Neptune Retro in the 11th or 12th: the Rx creates an internal struggle really getting in touch with Neptune energy -Sag NN in the 12th house--AGAIN, to really learn and grow in life, I need to open up to and embody that energy -Jupiter Rx in 2nd (Placidus) or 3rd (other systems) in Pisces....AGAIN, if you follow the idea that to find great happiness we should express our Jupiter's sign...another clue that I need to open up to my 12th house (also, Jupiter=my 12th house Ruler, which is in my Pisces house) So to me, it's like the two Retro planets back up the message my NN is trying to give me, about what I should move towards to realize my fullest potential. Lucia- Believe me, I know all about Cancer. I have it on my 7th house cusp and as my South Node. The ruling planet the Moon is opposite Mars and trine Pluto. I have a hard time dealing with dating and attractions, for me it's like I will be really into someone and then just poof the attraction is gone for me and the person is left wondering if they did something wrong. It is not even a slight I stopped being attracted to that person, it's more like I am irritated by the other person, I feel like it's my Moon opposing Mars..my emotions battling my desires. I feel I have some growing up to do in the love department. So I am taking a big break and evaluating myself in the matters of the heart. Agent- I too have two stelliums, one in the 8th house and one in the 1st house. Venus and Mercury are retrograding in my 8th house and Uranus, Saturn, Neptune in the 1st house. The only reason I do not like is I get the, "Your not what you seem Kat" or people do not sense who I am or where I am coming from most of the time. For them it is like I am talking jibberish or acting in a peculiar way even though I am doing the same thing as them. IP: Logged |

quote: Venus in Taurus: I love very intensely, very deeply, I am hopelessly devoted. I am ardent and faithful. When it ends I try, try and try again. I forgive everything and emerse myself in all the wonderful memories, holding on so tight. Then it takes me *years* to get over someone.
Maybe stop trying so hard to get over it and learn to live with it instead. It will be easier. I have this placement in the 7th house. It doesn't sit well with the 'move on' culture but then that isn't necessarily so bad. IP: Logged |

Tell me about it. I too have Neptune in Capricorn in the 7th, and I am always indecisive and confused in relationships. I also try to give up too soon. I am a giving person but I have learned from my parents' experiences and from early on in my childhood that I cannot be vulnerable and give only. It's my Scorpio Moon and mars aspects. I only give to people I can trust. But this has its pros and cons because sometimes you need to give in order to receive. I am glad to have a partner who has lots of 7th houses, who's a double Aries with Libra asc. He is very committed and I learn a lot from him. Not that I'm not committed, but even though I am a Taurus, his perserverance with our relationship is stronger than mine.IP: Logged |

Never again will I be born with Saturn square Jupiter. That aspect is a beyotch. The only good thing about it is that both planets make nice angle to my ascendant, so I manage to look good through all the crap. lol. IP: Logged |

I was thinking the same thing, when I saw this thread, but it may also be one of the few aspects in my chart that actually gets me moving in one direction or another. I once used a free program that listed this aspect as a good one ~ I wish I could remember the name of the program, and the site (someone had shared it here). I could do without Saturn squaring Mercury and Pluto ~ I like trines and sextiles from Saturn... IP: Logged |

saturn square jupiter: there is not wrong to fail but it's wrong to not reach high...Glaucos:moon square saturn is one of the most powerful aspect someone can have in a chart. It give the person ambition and ability to concentrate. Excessively iner driving force. Your brain organizes more like a machine and you can work slow, cold and working up to that you want to be. When your depressed you always work off it. It also be more steady as older you be. IP: Logged |

I'm not trying to get over it, I can't "learn to live with it". I am the way I am, I feel the way I feel, I am not a machine that can be programmed to feel a certain way.......I am.....me.....my point of this thread is that I am the way I am b/c of these aspects. It's hard. IP: Logged |

but it's modified by Neptune though...Neptune squares Moon and opposes Saturn t-square.......the orbs are relatively close that it forms a Moon oppose Saturn/Neptune midpoint with 17 minutes of arc I do find that Moon square Saturn about obligations, duty in regards to my mother. restrictions, limitations when it comes to relationships with women...especially with the Moon being in my 7th house. Glaucus: I also have problem with my authoritarian mother sometimes. Now when I am adult and lived 40 miles away from her we can talk to each other . My daughter have her moon conj pluto in house 7 in scorpio. She have so strong tie to me and want control. I hope we can solve the problem as coming in life. I hope we in future can talk about everything as we can to day. It looks like she need it.Sometimes it's to late to start talk. Sometimes it's the best to leave. IP: Logged |
