Peri,No worries. I will admit that when I first read your reply a thick spike of terror punctured all of my vital organs simultaneously! But that's alright. I walked away from the computer this morning and i thought, "I don't care if the damn horary chart says I'm not supposed to be an actor. I'm going to do it anyways..." So i guess i have my answer. Even if the stars say otherwise, I know myself. Before I drew the horary chart, before i made the initial post, i knew no matter what the conclusion was, I couldn't NOT be an actor. I couldn't change my ambitions. I am changing my major, but i'm not changing my goals. But i thank you for your astrological input. That's why i posted this chart- i wanted to know. I wanted different opinions. So thank you. IP: Logged |

Are you supposed to be an actor? I can't answer that for you but I could try to answer how I think you could become an actor. I would say it looks like you could do fine being an actor if you start off aiming for the small roles, small studios, indie films, sketchy characters, etc. - you could work your way up from there. Don't be ashamed or feel like a failure if you don't get the lead roles you want but rather, get the roles you hadn't considered, the small ones, the strange ones, etc.. Also, you have to be careful in regards to 'over' reaching with the characters. It would be a humbling experience for you to start off going for the small roles and work yourself up that way you would probably get you more attention and more practice. If anything - working towards getting out of your comfort zone - as with any of us - works out for the best in the end. You also may have a tendency to 'go by the book' rather than meet in the middle but if you trust yourself just as much as you trust 'going by the book' - you can find the middle ground and do well. It'll take practice but when you go by the book and trust yourself to be able to conform to the character whether you feel the character is beneath you or you couldn't possibly be able to play a particular character because it's beyond your understanding - with practice, and moving up from the smaller bits to the bigger roles / you will find that you may suddenly find yourself naturally being able to trust that you CAN conform to the characters being asked of you, as well as achieving a satisfactory repoire with your castmates (being able to work with others is important) / then you shouldn't have as big of a problem working with other actors no matter how big their names are or how small their names are, you shouldn't have as much doubt in becoming the character you are to be, and you won't worry too much about reaching the audience and making them more curious to see/know you. An air of mystery can be a good thing. I truly believe the roles you probably would do best are probably far from who you are and far from what you would gather a 'successful' actor would do and be. Depending less on the familiar can help you so much. No doubt you will have to work hard and from the bottom up but it'll work out well for you in the end. Now, the question becomes, do you want to put in the work to be an actor? I wish you luck. IP: Logged |

Hi,I have a few questions for you. When you say,"Am I supposed to be an actor?", do you mean are you going to be successful as an actor or you aren't sure you know you are an actor? You are asking to see if it is "fated" for you to be an actor? Is that your question? I think most actors KNOW they are actors. There are many exceptions, but most KNOW.If you are questioning it maybe you should reconsider it as a career. Of ,course a little honest refection and doubt isn't bad either. I would take astrology serious when it comes to these questions ,but not too serious. You ultimately must decide your own destiny and then accept your limitations and karma etc. Most true actors HAVE to act because they neeed it to feel whole and to self actualize. The fact that you asked this question may be a good sign because you are really soul searching. I think you know deep in your heart wether this is your path or not. Plus being an actor simply means you act. If you want to be a "professional actor" that has many practicle considerations and if you want to be a "famous" actor then that is a whole other career. There is the career of acting and the career of being famous. They are not mutually exclusive of course and often coincide. But like Socrates said (paraphrasing) if you want to be a doctor and you want to be paid you are practising two professions. One is being a doctor the other is being a wage earner. Most famous acotrs work at being famous as much as they do being an actor. So just a few things to think about. Also if a horary chart can stop you from acting then you were never an actor to begin with. The best way to be a great actor is to act as much as humanly possible. You learn by doing and get better throuigh practice like everything else. Technique can be learned and you can actualise your potential. Artistry ,I don't think can be learned that is a gift. But I have seen people that were not too gifted become SO much better by doing it over and over again.Plus ,who knows when your muse might kick in. You may not seem gifted and it just takes one more try, one circumstance to mine your own gold and bring your gift up from the depths. Doing is an act of faith and all good things proceed from faith. Just act and all your answers will come !!!! Good Luck!

I definitely agree with you in that I should pay attention to the Horary. I mean, I asked the question for a reason. But in truth, i wasn't asking whether i should be an actor in the sense that i was unsure whether i should act. The underlining question (in my mind) was whether or not i'd be successful as an actor. So truly, my question should have been: Will i be successful as an actor?I do need to act. Building and playing someone else provides an emotional outlet that is absolutely necessary for me. I think my passion is truly evident in the fact that, when I thought Peri found that the chart answered, "No," I didn't give up. I don't know if we have definitely decided whether or not the chart says "Yes" or "No" but I have to continue, nevertheless. If it's not meant to be, the Universe will punish me in the future, and i'll have to accept that. IP: Logged |

i wonder if horary are always meaningful. like any divination tool, they might be meaningful, but once you got an answer, u can keep asking, you'll always have an answer, (you'll always pick a card, obviously) see what i mean? i'm not saying horary isd wrong, i'm saying trust other sources than horary. one would be your natal. and as far as i can remember, i think it is very favorable.IP: Logged |

Meta,I agree with Pire on this one. I think you don`t need a horary. You just do what you are passionate about. If you`ll be successful, I don`t dare say, because it very much depends on your own definition of success. But yes, IŽd look at your natal and progressions, before I would look at horaries. Besides horaries are only valid for a certain time, like for example 3 months. So what if the answer is No? Then it just means, No for the next 3 months. Pire, that is a real problem with divination. Personally I feel that the FIRST card, horary or whatever is the only valid one. Everything else is us not wanting to accept the answer we have been given (and believe me I have been sitting there doing this fascinating Sabian oracle dozens of times after each other; yet the first one was the only one that seemed to be true).
