If I wanted someone that soft looking I would've just gotten myself a woman. And no, I don't ovulate anymore either (pill).

And I've known plenty of Cancer sun males that don't look like girls but perhaps you mean the Rising sign? Maybe this guy's rising is in cancer or pisces since he has a warm look and the lips seem to make me think those signs too. *shrugs*

"you don't look very feminine to me in my opinion, although i definitely think your new 'look' is suites you very well!

you don't look that young to me, i have a baby face"

very short hair and facial hair can do that.

it's different from having longer hair and no facial hair.

that's the point I was making earlier.

I used to wear my hair much longer on top.
when I was in high school and after high school before I joined the navy, I have worn long hair at times. I had it straight. I had it straightened a lot. I didn't wear a beard. I only had a mustache. In the navy, beard wasn't allowed.

"its the facial hair that does the trick

right Raymond? lol"

exactly!

that's the point that I was trying to make

you do look older with some facial hair

facial hair can help make feminine and/or young looking males more masculine and/or older looking.
It won't work for all males. It might not work for most males either.

It definitely has worked for me. My looks can vary depending on hairstyle, facial hair. In pictures, it can depend on poses. if a person puts his head down a bit, it give an illusion of a less rounded, oval face and the chin can look more square.

I have an oval face with high cheekbones. My mother who was cosmetologist/hairdresser told me that.

many men wear beards to cover up a weak looking chin too.

The face is a composite of features of different faces that were rated. As such, it is average. True symmetry in facial characteristics is actually what is the most average in the population. Symmetrical facial features are supposedly what people are most attracted to... HOWEVER, I think that if you put all of the symmetrical aspects together in one person, I really don't think you'll get the most attractive person in the world. You'll get the most average looking person in the world. I personally think that a "hot" guy (or woman) is probably more dependent on the combination of symmetrical facial features AND features that stand out and aren't average- usually features of masculinity (for men) and femininity (for women) that are exaggerated.

And of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

hi letram,

here's my dad's chart. as well i'm a sun in cancer in the 11th house with mars in taurus in the 10th house. i think for me i'm more influenced by my personal upbringing than astrology in what kind of a man i prefer.

Your dad and I have really good synastry, lol.

His sag stellium is right on mine, his moon is on my merc, and his jupiter is on my MC.

haha. Too funny..

ETA: we also have other connections, but since itll never happen I am not bothering to write it out. Our whole chart connects.

Your Sun in Cancer (the sign ruled by the feminine planet,Moon) and Mars in Taurus (the sign ruled by the feminine planet,Venus) are placed in feminine signs. That could be possible indicators for being attracted to feminine type of men. I don't know the aspects to them. I believe that aspects to the Sun and Mars also factor in a female's animus.
Other things can factor like the environment and experiences. Free will is the ultimate factor.

I am a believer in astro-genetics. I believe that the natal chart actually reflects the genetic makeup of a person. Synchronicity. I feel that genetics go beyond the regular chart that astrologers look at. Declinations,Right Ascension, minor aspects, centaurs, transneptunians, asteroids, nodes of objects besides the Moon, and midpoint pictures could also be looked at for possible genetic factors. Even the harmonic charts.

with Sun in Cancer, Mars in Taurus combination, you can be attracted to men that are highly sensitive, emotional, nurturing as well as security-oriented,practical,steadfast.

yes it appears to have glaucus!

what is a weak chin? :S

stopandstare,

quick glance, i can't see really any similarity, maybe the fact he has saturn and moon on the venus, i have that but not the same aspects.

edit*

i googled a weak chin, hmm, iv seen some guys with Really weak chins before, and a girl once too, she virtually had no chin!

i think my chin might be on the slightly weaker side, maybe i need to lose a bit more to help lol

diana: hahaah you're too funny my parents have been married for almost 35 years. but then everyone in my family has been married for about a hundred years. thanks for your post and for looking at the chart

glaucus: thanks for sharing the insights about what i would be attracted to. i'm not familiar or don't pay close attention to my sun or my mars when i think about what i'm attracted to. i almost always rely on my moon or venus though i'm not sure why. but what you described is definitely what i look for.

about astro-genetics: hmm...i think it's very interesting.

just for kicks here's my chart then

weak chin is one that is recessed a bit so that there isn't much definition around the chin. A small chin is also referred to as a weak chin. In particular, a “weak” chin on a man may feminize the face and may even unjustifiably carry negative psychological overtones about his character.

" i almost always rely on my moon or venus though i'm not sure why. "

that makes sense to me

Moon is about one's emotional needs and what makes them feel secure

in the book, THE LUMINARIES by Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas, there is a discussion about how Moon figures strongly in relationships.

Venus is the planet of love, attraction, and relationships.

In Astrology, it is said that the placements of the males' Moon and Venus have to do with the type of females that they are attracted to.
The aspects to the Moon and Venus modify the placements of the Moon and Venus can also be factors.

the anima - a male's ideal image of female that he might project onto a female.

I tend to use narrower orbs.
I can't tell the orbs on the aspects in that chart because the degrees, minutes are not included in it. I don't like those astro.com synastry charts for the same reason.

he seems cute, but nothing more than that...at least for me.

it depends on the culture i guess...her we like latino men.with strong men features, and looking like jonnhy deep ( irreverent and original)and with a mix of jphn reys meyers ( i love Tudor...that king could boss me around like he pleased hihihi)and probably adding keanu reeves....

Who votes for my list?

thanks for the additional information glaucus. is there a different chart i could use to upload or do you have a link to a chart that is one you can read better? thank you for responding regardless though

i think it helps me that my moon and venus are the same. it's like i know what i want and who i want. sorry this is veering off away from the subject...but yes i know definitely that i prefer and need a more feminine guy. maybe not exactly like that guy in the computer composite, but i prefer a guy like that.

i'm completely turned off by muscular guys, sporty guys, big guys, gruff guys, etc. for some reason just seeing a guy wearing sweats or say a sports jersey just makes me vomit. my dad always dresses in dress shirts and pants. i don't think i've ever seen him wear a t-shirt. anyway, i like long and lean and feminine...similar physically to how i'm like. long limbed, lean, taller....though their personalities tend to be more steretypical male. aloof. unemotional. guarded. men of few words or hide their feelings. strange i know

lol.

the demeanor and expression on his face reminds me of myself. my eye brows are thicker and longer though. and my lips fuller and chin more narrow.

hmm i see those two other pictures of keanu and the other guy. I didnt think narrow more subtle chins were preffered among women?

Stars

the 1st one is of jonnhy deep.he looks very similar to keannu in some photos...i always loved the looks of these two men:i dont know if it is the chins...more the way they seem to be by their eyes i guess...

a flavour of mistery and inner battles that makes them look vulnerable at times...

just a guess...i bet i have strong placements with all of them..

Too conventional for me, I need chiseled cheeks and more defined eyebrows. I like effeminate men I guess, but really I just like guys my age who are skinny and tall.

So really, male models.

Venus trine Pluto, sextile Neptune would seem to prefer depth, sensitivity in relationships, especially with it love nature being deep, sensitive.

The Moon oppose Neptune indicates the emotional need for sensitivity in relationships, especially with the emotions being highly sensitive.

Mars sextile Mercury might indicate the possible attraction to a male that is intellectual, objective, detached, communicative. It's like Mars in Gemini.

personally,I think people mix up Gemini with Cancer. I think that it's because many people with Sun in Gemini have the planets close to the Sun (Mercury,Venus) in Cancer like my Mom does.

your Aquarius descendant can indicate aloof, unemotionally expressive, intellectual, unconventional partners.

wow glaucus thanks for your comments they were spot on! emotional and sensitive yes that's what i need in relationships. though myself i don't tend to be outwardly emotional. i'm pretty contained for the most part but i have a sympathetic and empathetic stance or demeanor so even when i'm not shedding tears in public or raging with anger, you can tell that i'm feeling something. i don't have a pokerface but i like to keep emotions private or be professional (ie emotionless) in public.

the male you described are the only males i attract/am attracted to. doesn't matter if it's some guy in my one class or that man in my building...they all are as you describe: "intellectual, objective, detached, communicative." though myself i can be accused of being like that as well but less extreme. your description of my descendant...same thing. i seem to just love those aloof and unemotional and inexpressive types. but i admit, i would freak out if a guy who was too outwardly emotional or forward with his emotions. bu then, i've never had a guy who was direct and forward so who knows how i'd feel about it. however, things are just understood between me and my friends and family. i don't go gushing or hugging or kissing with my affection. i don't like being all outwardly emotional. it's annoying.

i have a male friend who is extremely sensitive, probably as sensitive as these guys i attract, but he wears his emotions on his sleeve. we are very similar and are in tune with each other's feelings except i'm the one who remains on the surface calm and cool and lighthearted. i can put on a good face and save it for later but he can't. and speaking of gemini duality, most people would think i'd break first because i'm always perceived as that innocent or nice one that needs to be protected.

i prefer my men to be more like me or my dad and just be more cool about their ultra sensitivity and emotionalness. so yeah i like my men to look more feminine hence this topic, but the way they act, i still prefer they be more like stereotypical men. in control of their emotions or unemotional.

and you are right, people can mix up cancers and geminis and vice versa. a lot of people will pick me to be gemini. i really can act one way and then be another. i'm sensitive and emotional but prefer to be contained about it or i have the control to be contained about it. that's why sometimes i hate reading about cancer because i see and feel myself being very much like a gemini. must be my moon. but then i have a lot of dominating cancer qualities as well.

thanks a lot for your comments, glaucus. i really appreciate it. it's really great to hear these things...it's really enlightening and makes me think more about astrology and how it is useful in describing likes and dislikes, personalities...thank you.

Diandra,

We have very similar taste in men. All of those men are on my "hot" list.

I also think Glaucus is very handsome. He has beautiful bone structure. I have a thing for angular faces, clean lines, jaw lines, etc. Those features are present in all 3 of those men as well.
