-My Libra ASC conjunct his IC
-His Aries MC conjunct my DSC
-His Aries moon conjunct my DSC
-My Libra ASC conjunct the midpoint of his Sun and his Venus (both in Libra).
-His Venus in Libra trine my Saturn in Aquarius.

We were together in some capacity for four years, and he is a deep source of meaning and comfort in my life still. Even though we are no longer together, we still rely on each other for emotional support, and I know I have a friend in him forever. I can definitely relate to feeling like, in meeting for the first time, there was some kind of energy that naturally carried over from a past life. I noticed him immediately, and we instantly developed a liking for one another. There was some sort of immediate recognition and comfort between us. We understood each other, and there was never any pressure to be different. We rarely fought. We were super affectionate. Sexual satisfaction was boundless. We traveled together extensively. Our chemistry was evident to everyone around us. Certain actions, gestures, decisions made by one or both of us still bring tears to my eyes.

I’d like to answer to the claim that Asc/IC would play out as a more disruptive and intense energy like Mars conj Moon

I personally don’t consider this energy disruptive per se.
I think it much depends on the signs involved and also in what sign one’s own Mars and Moon are in.

For example I have Moon in Gemini and my Mars is in Aries. Someone’s Asc in Aqua is conj my IC in Aqua!

For us it plays out as follows..
I just love the way he expresses himself, I love his weirdness because on a deep and fundamental level I can relate to it! Doesn’t mean I relate to every kind of weirdness, but I love his particular weirdness! He is someone I can completely and wholeheartedly accept! I just like everything about him, and he can be himself and feels totally accepted around me.

Also since MC is the point the IC person strives for and needs to become, it’s very complimentary with the Asc person’s form of relating and their ideal partner. Around the Dsc person the MC feels more encouraged to strive for their highest self.

So in that sense this particular axis-conjunction seems very beneficial for each person’s development.
