saturn rules my 8th and moon my 2nd. Do you think jupiter has anything to do with it? I have sag 7th and jupiter in my 3rd/leo and remember 3rd is gemini's natural house which is my AC (with ruler in 11th)

facebook call them friends, but a friend, i believe is more than some one you say "hello, how are you, what you been up to?"

some ppl are just more likeable and give the impression of being more open and welcoming

some ppl look more reserve, and also are more picky. as i deleted few ppl from my fb, cz i thought if i dont care abt these ppl why are they on my account. this is one approach not necessarily the right one. then there are other ppl who are more accepting of diversity in acquaintances, and wld not dwell too much abt who touched them at a meaningful level. social network is just a network and they dont necessarily try to find depth there. this is another approach not necessarily right or wrong

I agree with, I think it was Diana who said that FB seems very fake. The day I signed up (probably around 2 months ago) I had 40 friends by the end of the night. It kinda felt like they were vultures waiting for new meat. I had to drag out my year book and look them up, cause I didn't remember 90% of the names.
It both amuses and disgusts me that MOST of these people were not my friends in school! They walked by with their noses in the air every day, and now they are sending me virtual hugs???? WEIRD. But on the other hand it is great for keeping in touch with family, and there are people from here that I really like that go there alot. The games and quizzes are fun as well.

MYspace, to me, is totally different. You can be much more creative there. You meet people through the sites you visit who have common interests as you, which I really like alot. Plus you can pimp out your profile to express yourself. Not much you can really do with white wall on FB.

Anyway, Venus in Sag is me. And my friend is Venus in Cap, he only has like 12 on his myspace, he says he uses it just to drop messages and exchange pics with family in other states. I don't think the Venus theory is reliable though. Cause I also know two Venus in Sag guys who have very little friends, they just use their myspaces to play games and listen to music.

There is a trio of girls from high school I never liked much i'm thinking of in particular and they're all still friends, and they're all married with children about the same age. Their kids are really dopey looking for the most part. I like making fun of them when they post pictures of their kids playing together... I'm like "eeewww!!! gross!!!"... and they named their sons really stupid names like ~Brooklyn~ a la the Beckhams and one of them named her son ~Keanu~... come on? LOL... seriously? KEANU??? Really?

Also, I think it depends what you see as "friend", I only consider a few people as friends, certainly not hundreds of them. I guess that must be my Venus in Cappy squaring Pluto in 11th house (in equal).

I normally add people that are close to me college wise, family wise and friendship wise.

My entire facebook page is on private settings, you can't find me even if you searched for me, so I'm practically invisible.

I have about 50-60 people added including my former boss, which I typical don't add but he was nice to me.

Its, just I'm sick of people who add the wrong people and then post the wrong things on there facebook page and wonder why they get in trouble.

So, I like to stick to the notion that no one owns the internet its 100% public so don't post anything you whouldn't want people to see even if your on private settings, because there are hacks that can still get into your facebook page.

Also, don't add the wrong people

example, my mom was hiring post grad. students to work in the Goverment for permanant positions.

Then they decided to look at the facebook pages of the applicants, one of them had pictures of him smoking pot as his main page.

Not vary bright, makes me wonder kind of degree he got.

I don't consider myself a people person or very friendly in the least..actually I strongly dislike people even friends and family, Im one of those people who can uproot quickly and cut people off in a minute. Thats why know one knew about where I was going to go to college, I don't want to be found..

Thats just a warning to stop people from adding more people then the facebook page can support.

If only people relized how bad are internet and telecomunications infrastructure is compared to India and China. There population demands a stable network.

Only about 150 are people I actually know. The rest are very casual acquaintances or people I've added randomly with whom I play games.

::shrug:: I am not paranoid about Facebook. Although I express strong opinions about things, I don't have anything on there that would keep me from getting a job. And if so, then I wouldn't want to work there anyway. I do have personal things on there about my life (pictures, etc.) but no information revealing enough that I or my child could be stalked. My page is also private in that you won't be able to see any of my info if you're not a friend, but you can search on me if you know my name (which you would not unless I have corresponded with you, know you personally, or have already approved you as a friend). I am very lenient with approving friend requests--you never know when it might come in handy to know someone and I've "met" some wonderful and cool people on there.
