Just the fact that we aren't interested/involved is something to consider.

Venus in Sag, in the 3rd house. I have roughly around 90 friends. I'm very picky about who I accept and who I don't. I feel like even though it is cyberspace, the friends I have on there, says something about you as a person. I only accept decent people! LOL! No crazy, trashy, unclassy types!

Venus in Virgo in 9th house speaking here. 170 FB-"friends". About 70 are real-life friends/personal acquaintances. About 40 are more professional contacts (I'm working in the communication sector;-); about 30 people are more or less "strangers", I've never meet in reality - but I "know" these people via the internet, from blogs, forums, other (semi-professional)web-platforms or because we obviously share som interests.

Oh, AMOWLS, I guess they do. For some this may be part of the "social web"-idea. And, of course, they're folks around who have gathered more than 700 or even 1000 people. I myself am in FB-contact with about 20-15 people whom I've never met in person, and most of my 170 contact-people there also have some "strangers" on their contact-list. There's nothing wrong with that, btw. I mean: Everybody should do as he/she likes. I just found it quite funny to call 500 people "real friends". That's what my post ws about. That (charming) exaggeration ... ;-)

Ok, enough of that emotional chit!

Double Scorp/Fishy Moon here. I'm on fb only and I'm somewhere around 70-80 people, all of whom I know from family,work, school or some other common social interests. I'm not there to make friends or add someone I don't know just to boost their numbers. I'm there to stay in touch with those I do know better as they are scattered around the world. I have friends from Ireland to Australia and family from New York to California.

venus in capricorn in the 7th (together with sun and mercury). I dont have a facebook account, never saw the point in it. What the other venus in capricorns have said here also holds true for me. I rather spend quality time in person with my close friends. Having said that it's kind of ironic because in the 'real' world my job is ALL about networking.

I have 220 - mostly people for UNI and past high schools (I've been to four lol). They're all people I like but only about 50 are "friends/family". The rest are acquaintances.

My Venus is very indeterminate (much like my ascendant). Technically Venus is at 29'59 degrees in Aries conjunct NN (00'06 Taurus).
If I was born like 2 min or 5 min later it would be Taurus. I have reasons to believe (mainly the fact that it's raining fixed-mars men in my life) that it is Taurus.

The only thing I know for sure about my Venus is that it is in the 11th house (like my sun)

Im sorry, but i really really DONT think that astrology or your venus planet dictates something as trivial and miniscule and obscure as how many friends you got on facebook

There are so many different aspect & planets that interact within the one chart that something like that wouldn't even come into it and if it did, it'd be because of all the diff planets and aspects interacting that you couldn't pin it down or narrow it down to one small thing that would be responsible for how many friends you have.

I have Venus in taurus and im pretty sure all the other taurus venus's would have a diff number of friends to me, ranging from 50-500

Seriously, who cares about something as pointless as that? Astrology doesn't explain everything in explicit detail down to what you like for breakfast...if any real, professional and educated astrologer saw this they'd be cracking up in laughter as to how silly this is

@diabolo...how many friends u have was an operationaliation of construct sociability

the theory says that venus shows sociability......i think we all know that the question is not predicting facebook friends....the task is to test the theory that venus has an affect on sociability....

facebook isn't real sociability and its not real life so it really isn't a predictive of your sociability, if you wanna break it down into statistics.

Friendship is a fluid thing that means different things to ppl and you cant pin it down to your friends list, im sorry but you just can't.

Sorry, but its totally irrelevant to astrology
