What do you mean intense? Could you elaborate? I have Pluto squared Moon and Venus conjunct Pluto. I am not intense at all, at least I never been told that and no one would ever describe me as 'intense'. My emotions are deep, loyal and I quite the romantic. IP: Logged |

Well I looked at my chart I forgot I have Moon trined Pluto not squared...I got nervous for a second there.
I don't know, see I am a scorpio sun conjunt Pluto, conjunct Venus and Venus conjunct Pluto. So I hate to use the word 'intense'. to be honest I think Pisces are intense and passionate and their emotions are much deeper. and I love that my partner has this for his Venus and Mercury, he thinks passionately and loves deeply and unconditionally.
the most 'intense' person I ever met was a cancer sun/moon but both of those planets are squared Pluto, his Venus is in Gemini trined Pluto, so yes perhaps Moon touching Pluto makes someone 'intense'. He is a real life poet, teaches at Uni and published a book on poetry. he is very emotional and brooding and that makes the girls and his students swoon for him LOL. because Moon is emotions, Moon itself is deep, so pluto making an aspect to Moon makes their emotions very intense and therefore become intensified and they are very fragile people yet very strong and their emotions can be stressful on others. so i guess in my opinon pluto aspecting moon, no matter what your moon sign is makes someone 'intense'.IP: Logged |

My friend has her pluto square this guy's moon and her moon squaring his jupiter. She broke up with him but she is still heartbroken over him. The pluto moon squre seems to make her unable to forget him, it seems like an intense emotion for her. They broke up 5 years back and decided to try again this year, broke up because he was taking her for granted.
Guess it make for a very intense bond, though not always a happy one.IP: Logged |

I have moon square pluto and venus opposite pluto. My pluto is in scorpio.I'm not sure which is more intense since I have both aspects, but I am very passionate and extremely focused. I always like to finish what I start, which is not what Geminis are known for. I'm extremely loyal and I can be very vengeful if I'm betrayed. IP: Logged |

I have my moon square pluto and my venus square pluto. Emotionally, I would say that I am very sensitive. I feel others emotions quite deeply and have had to learn over the years how to shut others out and close myself off (moon conjunct ascendant). I would say that I can be very intense as I am a very deep thinker and like my quiet moments to myself.With my venus square pluto I tend to attract alot of male attention. I have had a few intense secret attractions, but not affairs, but there has been a longing for each other. It's definitely the unspoken 'I'm attracted to you kind of thing energy but we can't.' I can be a bit obsessive when I fall for someone and have a hard time getting them out of my head. ------------------

I have a pluto/moon trine exact and a pluto/venus trine exact with my man - plus a pluto quincunx moon and a pluto bi quintile venus with him.It's EXTREMELY intense!!!!
oh, and i have venus quincunx pluto in natal and moon quincunc pluto - both EXACT! and venus/moon is conjunct exact.

I have pluto square moon in natal but it's 6 degree orb. Wide orb. I count this because it includes my stellium merk 7/uran8/kaali 9/ pluto 12. Yes I am very intense but i don't think this aspect did me intense. I think my Asc conj my Sun in leo sextile my moon did me intense..IP: Logged |

So because they represent different parts of us, I don't think you can accurately say that one is more "intense" than the other. They just empower and create intensity to different aspects of us. I have Moon square Pluto and Venus trine Pluto. Something that I have found is that once I love you, or desire you, those feelings never go away. I will always feel that way about you; it's a sort of unhealed wound that may or may not go dormant with time. Also, i see everything in black and white: once you've hurt me, i'm done. I'll never forget it, and probably never fully forgive you. Everything is all or nothing. Everything is put on a higher scale; it's all-consuming and maddening. That's true. In my natal chart I have a Venus/Pluto opposition. However in synastry I prefer the Moon/Pluto vibe because as you said the Moon rules emotions and I find this intense/deep on an emotional level - Venus/Pluto is intense on a different, more sexual, level. I couldn't "compare" them. It depends on what you find more appealing. I guess I'm a bit bored with Venus/Pluto energy. It's very 'same old' to me. I've often attracted this in relationships. ------------------

Here you go Meta: here is my chart, nothing special lol.
I am not intense thanks to my Aquarius Moon, I am very socialable and playful, and not posessive even though I am a Scorpio. I come across very intellectual, when I am older I will probably be like a mad-professor with crazy hair and super smart with 10 advanced degrees lol.
I love education and I am very independent. I like my Scorpio Sun its makes me very determiined and focused and I won't give up on things I keep going. I dislike my venus, its not the best placement for venus. But I am dealing with it, my venus makes me suspicious and a bit insecure in love department, also its in the 12th. But my venus in the 12th makes me a hopeless romantic and I believe in unconditional love that is why I kind of do not love like a typical scorpio, if that makes any sense.IP: Logged |

i dont get it what is intense?
someone who gets v emotional...like in an argument if u start getting v emotional and worked up.....but isint it a quality of fire sign?or intense as in jealous? vindictive? take things too personally? wht do we mean by deep emotions?
so wht makes an emotion deep?...when u cant bear the pain? but then how its different from being v weak or when u notice/feel little things ..but this is being sensitive... or when u hurt a lot but dont show it to others....but thats patience and being reserved..... or when u feel the emotions that many dont feel? so i really dont get it ? wht is deep and intense....both r different...i dont get either???

I have natal Moon sq. Pluto...& Venus cj. Pluto.When it comes to emotions, I'm pretty chill, controlled and never get EMO like most people do. I think Pluto gives me that control over my feelings. If anything, I feel that my Moon-Pluto makes me extremely aloof and detached. So, if I had to pick which was more "intense," I'd have to say my Venus-Pluto. The stuff I like or produce (art & music) is usually deep, dark & brooding compared to other people's. If I fall for someone, yes, I can get quite obsessive. The bright side is, I dont get jealous much...cuz the way I see it, you shouldnt ever have to make anyone love you back. It's somewhat a self inflicted internal torture, but I have good control that I'd never get EMO & act out my feelings on impulse. IP: Logged |

I think "intense" means "extreme"--extreme emotions (really happy, really sad, really angry) or extreme concentration (focused on something for many hours). IP: Logged |

Aquarius Moon,I knew there was a reason i liked you: we have amazing synastry! ... or should i say intense synastry?  Our natal charts are somewhat similar. I have a water/Pluto dominant chart, and you have a stell in Scorpio. I'd show you the syn, but i don't want to take away from the thread. Meta,The people (platonic or romantic) I'm attracted to are intellectual/cultured/refined individuals (cuz of my airy stellium). I cant deal with clingy people! How I carry myself, well people tell me I'm very refined. I'm not sure that's got anything to do with Venus-Pluto, I think it's more due to my Libra stellium. Romantically, I prefer powerful or ambitious men (but with a humanitarian streak)...my Mars in Leo 10H & Cappy Moon. I am very picky when it comes to a partner. I think my Venus-Pluto gambles at an all or nothing level. I'm either entirely obsessed with someone, or not interested at all. There's never room for, "Oh I think I'm interested in him a bit...maybe I'll date him & see how it goes," (absolute waste of time). I've read somewhere before the reason for this is cuz people w/Venus-Pluto hard aspects have a built in radar that just recognizes & magnetizes towards the people they have karma with. I think this is true in my case.
However I seem to attract a lot of clingy, obsessive types...(my Venus cj. Pluto), as everyone around my generation has their Pluto cj my Venus. IP: Logged |

Ditto. If you don't evoke intense feelings at the beginning than there's no point in trying. I determine whether i'm attracted to you, or interested, by my initial response to you- is this how you work? So maybe Venus/Pluto plays in the criteria for selecting partners? If you don't leave a serious impression upon me when i first see/meet you it's not happening! quote:
