Gotta agree with the moon in scorpio. Although, I am sure there are exceptions. The one's I've known have been so manipulative, vengeful, and mean. I also don't like venus in scorp. The men are total s_uts. Will sleep with anyone -- even if they're attached to someone else. Always thinking about sex and so perverted. IP: Logged |

It takes all different types of people to make the world go 'round, but I can understand the frustration with some placements, lol! Of course, I will protest the female sun in Pisces as being flakey, as I am one myself and don't think I am anything of the sort. There are so many different postitions/planets in peoples charts that it's quite unfair, I think, to pinpoint sole signs/postitions. I have found, however, that Virgo suns usually frustrate me as they are so cautious and I tend to jump right into things, lol! I find it VERY hard to trust Gemini sun males. And Aquarius moons drive me crazy with their overthinking!!! Oh, and Venus in Cancer in males ... i find them rather wishy-washy and NOTHING is as good as what MOM has done for them, lol. but i can't speak in regards to every person holding one of these postitions. BUT that being said, i think alot of that has to do with the way I am in contrast to them. I wouldn't ever criticize/bash any other signs for being the way they are ... it's totally normal for people to not 'get' each other. ------------------ Sun - Pisces Moon - Leo Rising - Cancer IP: Logged |

As per the Law of Attraction, if one thinks that XYZ Planet in ABC Sign is negative, then one would keep attracting only the negative variants of XYZ Planet in ABC Signs. It is the way a Soul deals with his or her genes, past life karma, environment, aspects in the natal chart and all transits experienced that shape the person. Male Sun in Cancer = Untrustworthy ? Wonder what is so untrustworthy about Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela or Tom Hanks ????? IP: Logged |

The Law of Attraction, as the documentary depicted it, is a load of belony. It was a self-serving, trite, pile of nonsense. It aimed to take real forces of nature and pack them conveninently into a self-help, highly marketable paradigm twisting them beyond their true meaning and soddomising selflessness and spitting in the face of altruism. I'm surprised a man of your moderate intelligence was even remotely impressed, I.Q. Self-sacrifice is the route to freedom from the cycle of death and rebirth, and karmic suffering, not self-worship or even positive thinking about oneself, and sitting on your fat a$$ 'visualising' the expensive car you want and the house, so that in 6 months they 'manifest' as if if by magic; because of some 'law'. The only one luaghing after that load of sh*t came out is the guy who wrote the book (if there was one - i'm not even interested).IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, me too, self-help books (most of them) and dating for success books are blatant materialistic exploits geared toward the folks suffering the most, and they should have to pay?? MORE???IP: Logged |

That depends. My SN is Scorpio and NN is Taurus (they are also conjunct Pluto & Venus respectively). I find it very normal to self-sacrifice. It's what I commonly do and have done in my life. Unfortunately I had some serious problems as a result of this - last year, which made me realize that I simply have to give a damn about myself. The route to "freedom" whatever it means for whichever person - is not always the exact same one. If you neglect YOU - If you neglect your physical or "spiritual" - "emotional" (whatever you want to call it) self.. there is a price. I can't focus on myself. I'm an Aries Sun but all my planets are in transpersonal signs & houses (plus, the ruler of my Sun is conjunct Neptune). I made a list of things that I would enjoy (my friend's idea) and I realized "WOW I've never in my life thought about this before.. What do I like? What do I want? What would make *me* feel good?" It's always been everyone else and their problems, and work and uni and bleh.. I'm not sure if you call that ^ freedom. I don't. IP: Logged |

Also - If you do NOT and cannot love yourself and take care of yourself - you will eventually lose your health, your well-being and your survival.. and who is that going to help? You need a degree of *health* (mind-body-spirit health) in order to help others. IP: Logged |

I'm just trying to say Predominantly maybe you find it EASY or natural to be self-centered, so self-sacrifice seems like some kind of goal to you.Not everyone finds this "natural".. some people over-work to the point of exhaustion and half-kill themselves. _________________________ And predominantly - TELL ME that if you did not take care of your physical body - if you were overweight or obese, if you had a serious disease - that you could HELP someone else or that you could bring positive energy to someone else's life. Because as far as I recall - you DO take care of yourself. You looked pretty healthy to me, last I saw a pic.. so I'm not sure how you could deny that it is *important* to care about oneself. It seems hypocritical. IP: Logged |

As for the Law of Attraction. This Law is a Universal/Natural Law, and as valid as the law of gravity. Just because some greedy, commercial person wrote that stupid book "The Secret" twisting this fantastic law to make money, doesn't mean that the law itself is not there. Anyway, I did eventually read The Secret and by god, I was so unimpressed how they used sacred teachings and made them into this joke. Now people are walking around thinking it's hogwash solely because of that book! IP: Logged |

SOOOOOO, Predom;Me has to wonder, and someone else might not go there, so, here it comes...... *you said that if I wanted to "waste my time waiting for a Venus in Cap to heat up, go ahead" but you had no interest. Now we see you are "nailing women to the bed as fast as possible." You realize this makes you sound like a minute man, or a wham bam Thank-You-get-over-yourself kinda man don't you? Am I the only one who noticed this? I know what you are doing, it's all good fun, just be able to take back what you dish out, pretty easy for Sag, but what about that Cancer you have lurking? Pire* The Sting of the Scorp is something to be wary of isn't it? My interest now is a pisces/sun, scorp/rising, and cancer/moon. I love swimming. He has Merc in Aqua though, which perplexes me. I'm always wondering if he's thinking about scientific experiments or what the heck is going on in there. Maybe you can shed some light for me. IP: Logged |

Speaking as a Libran Sun, Capricorn Moon and Venus in Scorpio type, (which I believe was mentioned earlier,) I rather suspect that a man whose sole aim was to 'nail' me would have something of a problem on his hands arousing anything more than a wry smile in someone like me love! I like my men a little more... well shall we just be polite and say 'well rounded'? Oh and I happen to love my Cappy moon by the way, as it keeps me on an even emotional keel, helping my Libran sun to balance out the intensity of Venus in Scorpio and my Cancer Asc. Perhaps you need a little more balance? Might help you to appreciate the shades of grey in between your somewhat black and white attitude to things? x IP: Logged |

Yes this is a common problem among frigid people. I believe you can get help with this as it's often a conditioned response triggered in childhood by one or more authority figures. So psychotherapy can have some impact on it in some cases. You'd be too busy trying to find out how much i earned to even think about such nuaghty things as 'having emotions' and 'actual physical contact' anyway. x ------------------ neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk

guys about the LOA...you cannot judge sucha thing only cause you red the secret...that book was only something to catch the eye,but if you are really interested...it is a whole new world.which i am embracing, but LOA doesnt work the way you think it does... it is a matter that you must fully study in other religions too,in some very specific and complex books...nothing of those like the secret one.... dont forget that between Heaven and Earth, there+s a lot more than what we catch with the eye...afterall...we all are here due to astrology..some will consider this science as a nonsense too...but we all know it is not... poeple like Dali Lama,Buhda himself...or DaVincei for instance..they knew it better..they were some of the few who knew what LOA was all about.and how to use it the best way.. try reading Eckart Tolle or Florence Scovell..it will spread your horizonts a bit..if you let it.
