To try and contain all the abuse i feel the need to dish out i thought i'd attempt to contain my negativity and bitterness to one succinct thread. To all the people that seem to love 'every natal position going' - i'm sorry we're never going to see eye to eye. These are the main positions that spring to mind, that based on vast experience, and over many years, great judgement, and sound intuition; i have rightly become wary of, in some instances to the point where i will not associate with someone that i find out has one or more of these.Moon in Virgo (obviously)- Utterly false. Moon in Scorpio - Utterly nasty. Moon in Capricorn - Utterly material / cold. Venus in Gemini - Utterly unfaithful. Venus In Capricorn - Joke. MALE - Sun in Cancer - Utterly untrustworthy. MALE - Sun in Pisces - Utterly wishy-washy. FEMALE - Sun in Pisces - Flake central. Pluto in the 1st house / conjunct the Ascendent - Utterly contrived / controlled / sly. MALE - Mars in Cancer - Lame MALE - Mars in Pisces - Rediculous / weak. IP: Logged |

And where might your preferences lie regarding ascendants, I'm just a glutton for punishment.*venus in cap???? OKaaaaay, nothing like a slow, steady, capable, earthy (hands on) kinda love(R) to turn me right off!!! So this vast knowledge, are you a rock star, athelete, or just been alive for 900 hundred years in order to acquire it????? IP: Logged |

I know, I shouldn't be encouraging this because you're being "bad" and because you're generalizing and all that jazz, but you are totally entitled to your opinion as far as I'm concerned (just as long as you keep the language to the LL standard). Or maybe it is because I have none of the placements you keep complaining about, therefore I don't feel offended by you in particular. I do know a few people with those placements who aren't as bad as you say, so maybe it is a synastry thing more than the placement itself. Maybe they just react badly with YOU in particular?? Anyway, I've missed you around here, MCM. Glad to see you're back, but please behave, dear. You do tend to upset a lot of people. Speaking of generalizing... I hear a lot of people generalize negatively about placements I do have, and if it is true, it is true. If it isn't, I just conclude that I am an exception to the rule. Anyway, we live in a world where it is 'okay' to generalize, BUT as long as one generalizes about "good" and nice things, which is rubbish really because any generalization should be "bad" if "some" are bad. It's like saying that prejudice is to be criticized if it is practiced on good people - while it is okay to be prejudice against bad people. That is a double standard, in my eyes. The minute someone expresses a negative pattern they have experienced with a sign or placement, it is is deemed "wrong" which I find to be a case of double-standards too, because people praise and swoon over people who generalize positively, people who say, "Aries people are cool and kind" and such. To me that's still a generalization, even though it is nice. Anyway, personally, I can't claim to be as sure as you are about such wide terms, but that's me. Anyway, later! and sorry for the rant. How would being an athlete or rock star qualify my statements more? quote: OKaaaaay, nothing like a slow, steady, capable, earthy (hands on) kinda love(R) to turn me right off!!!
I know you're being sarcastic, but i couldn't agree with that statement more! I'd be out the door before long before they'd decided to warm up. I know you're thinking Earth = Sensual. But Venus in Capricorn doesn't work like that. It means practical, material considerations come before anything else in their partner, and a kind of saturnine restrictivity on all their appreciation impulses. You waste your time with them if you want. I won't be wasting mine.

The girl I used to share with is Sag Sun & Cap Venus. Not a pleasant mix as I never know whom I'm dealing with on any given day.She is as described above. Driven by material gain, status & relationships are treated like business transactions. I have learnt that when she's being nice she wants something or has another motive. PS Pre.... It appears that I'm stalking you but what else do you expect with a Scorp Venus eh? Cancer men can be sweet but in my experience, conniving to some degree. Still this is based on my own experiences so can't be used as a generalization. IP: Logged |

Stalk away. All of us partial Scorp's have that tendency. I like it. Prefer chasers to flakers anyday of the week. And thanks for backing up what i say with direct experience.IP: Logged |

ROFL @ U I find it best to back up an opinion with some real life experience but this is all subjective anyways as it is "our" living & learning that gives us this point of view.
Sorry to say but I do find most arguments a waste of time. I blame my Libran Sun for that. IP: Logged |

Gypsee - Ascendent wise not too keen on Scorpio funnily enough. Works similarly to having Pluto conjunct the Ascendent. Favourite Ascendent is Sagittarius.IP: Logged |

Predominantly fire. I am curious. What would happen if you run into a female Libra Sun, Cap Moon, Scop Venus and Scorp AC who wants to be with you? You find her attractive. Would the bad outweigh the good, or visa versa? IP: Logged |

Predominantlyfire I like you, you have opinions and don't go for the "all signs are equally good" thing. It's politically incorrect, discriminating and totally wrong, but you know what ,this is how things are supposed to be. IP: Logged |

It'd be good but probably get ruined by the Moon. I'd give her a chance, but would be quicker to act on the warning signals that the Moon may start presenting. I'd also make sure i nailed her in bed at the earliest opportunity.IP: Logged |

Because rock stars and atheletes are known to have many, ummm, partners to gain their vast knowledge from.and since we can be free today, for some reason to generalize....I think I should get a turn. *Men with Cancer Asc or Moon. *scenarios: *mobile phone goes off in the living room to the ringtone of "I got you babe" and Cancer man comes bounding out of the bedroom where he's been ironing the sheets, joyfully saying, "It's my Mom!" *There is snow piled up in the drive and up against the front door, leaving a gape only an annorexic can get through, I say, "ummm, do ya think you might shovel?" He rolls over, and says, maybe after I get something to eat, and go shovel MY MOMS." *You have a personal disagreement, and guess who is the first person to know? Yep, and she knows all the details, except the truth. *Vacations and holidays, must include or be cleared through....good ole' Mom. *Food is never up to par, even if MOM never mastered a dish more complicated than Macaroni & Cheese, still, it ain't MOMs. *Mom will never have to worry about the dreaded nursing home scenario, because Cancer man will make sure she lives with you, and if he actually HAS a job, well, guess who takes care of her??? Yeah, I can be harsh too. But guess what? The major loves of my life have Cancer placements, so there you go. Ain't life just flippin weird. *fun sparring with you Predom, you got moxy, it's refreshing. Either that or I'm in a psychotic mood due to my Libra Moon. It's anyones guess. IP: Logged |

Libra Moon? Nice. That should have gone on my things i like list. Can you post your natal chart please Gypsee.. Partner wise i've had more than my age, and i'm 36. But that's only counting full intercourse, and i can be very inhibited and shy when i'm trying to talk to really attractive women i fancy. But i get my knowledge from all the people i've ever met and known not just 'laid' lol. I've been obsessed with astrology for nearly 2 decades. You amuse me Gypsee. Just to add my mother lives a mile away from me and i only see her twice a year if that. Believe me i wouldn't bring any of my family to anything. I'm hoping to leave the Country so whoever i end up with never has to meet them. I certainly won't miss any of them. So i guess i'm not your typical Cancer rising? IP: Logged |

p.s. I currently love a Scorpio Rising, but unfortunately he has some of those loathesome other placements you mentioned. lol. But, I just noticed this, and may explain why Two Saggies like us, would feel differently about it. Since you are a male and I am a female *edited, crap I can't get the URL right, anyway, it's on this page, about halfway down, with the topic listed as Ascendants. *call me nutty, but that seems just fine and all good with meeeeeeee! This isn't all about puppies and kittens, and everything being bright and shiny in the world. It's about every sign - Sun, Moon, ascendant, whatever - being capable of being either good or bad. That's all. Certain signs and aspects might engender certain traits, but so will someone's maturity level at any given time, as well as their upbringing and general outlook on life. IP: Logged |

You would absolutely hate me. I have pisces sun and cap moon. I know that I am not cold but I also know that I make it very hard for anyone to like me. Saturn sucks. My mind is a steel trap but I will play sweet and dumb as a defense, god help you if you lie because it's been noted and filed. I tend to fall, almost exclusively, for cancers that have gem venus and they have all cheated (4 of them), every one. So I feel you on that. What the hell is wrong with cancers anyway? They are the funniest and sweetest guys but when they turn on you they go evil and are completely nasty bullies. Does my aries mercury offend? Scorpio moon in anyone is difficult and they remind me of cap moons in a way. Super walls but what sweet, loyal, friends when you know them. I also know a cap venus with quite a reputation among men. She is worshiped and beautiful. Personally, I hate mars and venus in taurus. I have them and I want to trade for the gemini or aries equivalent. The taurus crap has me inches from spending life in an opium den, drowning in the senses. Figuratively, of course. IP: Logged |

LMAO Gypsee!!! My husband has a Cancer moon. Of course, when we first met, I noticed mainly the Cap sun combined with the Cancer humor. That, together with the Venus-Neptune in our synastry I think had me waaaaaaaaay bamboozled!!! Now, let me demonstrate how right you are about that Cancer moon: *You have a personal disagreement, and guess who is the first person to know? Yep, and she knows all the details, except the truth. ***** Well, his mom passed away years ago so the first person to know is his sister-in-law, followed by EVERYONE in his office.
*Food is never up to par, even if MOM never mastered a dish more complicated than Macaroni & Cheese, still, it ain't MOMs. ***OMG, I'm a better cook than most working women of my generation, and yes, there's a negative commentary from him thrown in with every meal, sometimes followed by "I wish my Mom were alive, I'm missing out on so much good food."
And to add a few of my own: HE designed our new kitchen. I tried to have some input, I really did. Then, I just got tired of the "hmmmmmmmm, you really think that would work" routine every time I liked a different wood or a different counter top, and just ceded control. He gets upset if I go clothes shopping for our 4 year old without him, because "he has better taste". and the clincher.... Every time we're at a hotel on vacation, he chases down the housekeeping cart, waits until the lady is busy cleaning someone else's room, and raids the cart for soap and hand cream. We have - I kid you not - a lifetime supply of fragrant soap stacked in cartons in our bathroom closet. And he's always suspecting that my mother (when she comes to visit) is trying to steal some of his stash. LOL. IP: Logged |

So, Predominantly... a question. Is it everyone with Pluto in the first, or does it have to be conjunct Ascendant? And can you give some "for examples" if you don't mind? I know someone with this placement and want to know more.IP: Logged |

Love it when I end up on these lists, if only partially. Pluto in the 1st.Moon in Virgo - I find them more cold/frigid than false. Moon in Scorpio - I'm wary of them. Moon in Capricorn - haven't meet many, can't say. Venus in Gemini - can't say Venus in Capricorn - Can't say MALE - Mars in Cancer - agreed, LAME.

Yay! I made the list! (I have a Capricorn moon). I admit Capricorn moons can SEEM cold. The truth is that some of them are, particularly if they have a lot of fire and an immature personality. However, most of them are loyal to a fault. They don't shower you with hugs and kisses, but they will defend you at any cost. Personally, I prefer someone whose actions show that they care rather than someone who tells me they love me while holding a knife in my back. They aren't fake and won't blow smoke up your a**. Some people like this trait and others don't.I adore Scorpio moons! Most of them are actually very sweet and loyal. Yes, that's right. I used the word "sweet" to describe Scorpio moons. They're intense, deep and blunt. Surprisingly, they're not controlling at all (in my experience) and have a dark sense of humor. I personally have never gotten along with people with Aries moons---WAY too moody. They get angry at the dumbest things and throw temper tantrums every minute. It makes me feel like I'm dealing with a toddler. I'm sure there are wonderfully mature Aries moon people out there; I just haven't met any of them.

a very cool topic! yes i understand this isn't to be taken so literally and for everyone so i'm posting more for fun and not that i hate these people libra sun: i'm surrounded by these people and they seem to adore me. but i find them to be very flakey and lazy and unable to be serious for a moment. libra moon: indecisive. can never make a definitive statement on a matter. it's like just admit you hate the guy instead of giving me the pros and cons of everything about him! virgo sun: must you be so rigid in your routine? aries: too fierce and mean sometimes. i feel like i'm being pummeled when i'm dealing with aries folk. cancer: i'm annoyed by my own cancer sign. i hate being so hypersensitive. i always come off to people as someone who needs to be looked after or people won't tell me bad things because they know it will upset me. some friends were talking trash about their own hometown (crass, crude, out there things) and i wanted to hear about them but they refused to tell me saying how i wouldn't like to hear it. i get this a lot from people. leo sun: must be the center of attention of everything. i got a leo rising but i stand out automatically (people put attention on me as opposed my having to seek the spotlight).
