Was posting in another thread ( http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/202888.html ), and just wanted to share an experience I had.. X3

Once, I had two astrologers that used different methods to help me analyze a few relationships (one used composite - Todd - and the other just looked at the soulmate pair asteroids aspects - iQ X3 ), but they still pointed me out the similar outcomes of these relationships. These methods doesn't really seem to have anything to do with each other (composite VS synastry, aspects between main planets and their midpoints VS aspects between asteroids), so what are the odds of showing similar outcomes?? This makes me think that the astrological signals that we can get through different methods should be consistent, showing more and less the same thing (so if a couple has certain traits, then these traits might be shown in more than one place, even in different charts).

I agree but there is also an esoteric school of thought that if the Astrologer is well intentioned, then he is able to download the correct answer for the client from the client's Higher Self, and he somehow looks at the most positive patterns in the charts that fit the downloaded answer.

Only God knows the Absolute Truth but as an engineer and I adhere religiously to these rules even in Astrology:

1. If the shoe fits, wear it [ but don't build a boot just to fit the foot]

2. If it ain't broken, then don't fix it.
[And don't break it just cause you want to fix it]

3. Always drink upstream from the herd.
[Else in spite of being 'Good Men' we stay 'Greene'horns eating out of 'Robert's Hand']

For the last....I don't know how many years - I lose track....Been doing my best to find consistency in astrology. I did this by thinking about astrology in a logical way. When I read some techniques that astrologers use, I dont know whether to laugh or cry.
