Size does matter. It must be tight. The orbs, I mean. Polo, I think you're right that the way two people fit together with synastry will affect the way they feel they fit together physically, for better or worse. Not that the physical facts are irrelevant to us. It's just the way they're experienced will be influenced by our imagination. (And also, as you said, the way we experience the synastry will be influenced by other factors, including our maturity level.) Crazy that woah should mention her guy has Merc in Sco. I was going to say that with that Merc placement I find it easy to focus sexually and fall into a trance. My thoughts don't stop, but I'm thinking from my arousal. Not about it, but locked in it, feeling it. I think for men, simply the sensation of sex is usually enough to get them off. For women, we need the physical sensations plus a really high arousal level. The stronger our arousal, the stronger the sensations feel (for men and women). So I don't think being lost in your thoughts prevents getting off. It can encourage it. You just need to focus the thoughts on ones that turn you on. And I think for many women, intimacy - spiritually, psychically, emotionally - is a huge aphrodisiac. When we feel it with someone who we also lust after, we so badly want to replicate it on the physical plane. That urge to come together ( ) makes for powerful sex. (I think many man can reach that same arousal level simply from visual stimuli. Not to say that they won't be even more turned on by a deeper connection.) Conversely, if we don't feel that connection, the sexual act feels strictly physical and divorced from the rest of who we are. And if you're a cerebral person generally, your mind will be aware of that distance between your whole self and your partner, and it will be harder to get off with him. IP: Logged |

I completely agree with this Jane. It is the point I am attempting to make in every one of my post. There came a point for me where I was so aware of the distance between myself and my partner that it was no different from masturbation with a blow up doll or something. That's a feeling I can do without because it leaves me with an emptiness that turned me off from sex in general. It made me feel as though I was wasting myself and my energy for nothing. Only after I made a much deeper connection on the spiritual level, a soul to soul connection, did I become interested again. Now I am at a point where if the deeper, spiritual connection isn't there, it isn't worth the effort. For this, I have given much of the credit to Eros / Psyche conjunction. I developed a theory in my other post that boils down to this _ quote: Venus/ Mars teach us what love is. Eros/ Psyche teach us what love needs.
One precedes the other in the growth process of an individual. The first must be mastered in order to achieve the second.

Lara,No, I'm a Virgo. I just found Gypsee's comments about Sagittarians needing "big love" and BIG everything really interesting...that makes sense in context when I think about some Sags I've known. As far as orgasms, I didn't have my first orgasm with penetration until somewhat recently and it was with someone with Venus in Aries. That was my first Venus in Aries lover--he has Mars in Aquarius, which is square (1) my Venus in Scorpio. That Venus/Mars square is something else...there was enormous physical passion and he just knew how to do everything right. Actually, we have a DW Venus/Mars (his Aries Venus exact trine my Leo Mars--FIRE!) and Sun in Aries trine Leo Mars (1)...I think all that precise Mars action/friction is what provided the FIREworks...we also have Mars opp Mars and a Mars/Uranus conjunction in the composite...whew! That relationship was too much of a good thing though---way too volatile. But he made a believer out of me for the "hot sex" aspects. EDIT: Lest my "first orgasm" statement be misinterpreted and I came across as yet another sexually repressed Virgo, I've had plenty of orgasms LOL. I am Venus in Scorpio after all Oral, manual, self-administered...it was just hard for me to achieve through penetration until somewhat recently.

its relative if size matters, a really really LD probobly wouldnt be a turn on for me even if it was as hard as a pencil.lara and amowls or belgz (can't remember which one right this second), if you trust someone enough to perhaps bring a toy (small vibrator) and real sex together you be way more likely to oragasm during sex and bring your head and your physical reality together. just give it a shot. to keep it astro ...im pretty sure taurus are known for healthy beef sticks. A well hung male is 20% genetics and 80% level of body fat. The less body fat a male has, the less fat surrounds the penis, giving it (edit: the appearance of) more length. While not every lean man has a very large penis (genetics), no fat man (edit: appears to have) one...and if he does, if he lost weight he would appear to be massive LOL. This is a scientific fact that has very little to do with astrology. I am an avid student of astrology, but I draw the line when it comes to physical features. True, some folks with strong Libras have dimples, but some don't. Probably most don't. Not every Piscean person has "clear, LIGHT eyes"...c'mon. 80% or more of the world's population has dark hair and/or dark eyes...same with being "fair", "squat", etc. The connection between astrology and appearance is iffy at best. Our bodies are formed by the DNA of our parents and some environmental factors. It has little or nothing to do with where the planets were in the sky at our birth. IP: Logged |

Hard to prove whether its genetics and/or astrology that has an influence. Better to question how much astrology influences appearance.Yeah, you would have to get a large sample of people with accurate birth certificates to give a decent result. Unlikely. The best way to link astrology with appearance is by such things as abnormal physical features, and also transits when an operation/whatever occurs. IP: Logged |

When I take a go at a "guess the Ascendant" thread, I am rarely looking at the person's physical features. Responses that say "she has red hair, she must be Arian!" make me want to roll my eyes. I go by the vibe I get from the person, how the hold their body, how they carry themselves, how they stare at me from the picture, what I see in their eyes...I don't know. Perhaps I am reading auras and don't realize it. But I've guessed right a few times. Wrong a few times also, but no more than the people who think a thick neck means Taurus. It bugs me that physical descriptions of the signs are geared toward those with European features, not accounting for the fact that the vast majority of the world's population is not of European descent. How exactly is a person of Asian descent going to have "large, widespread eyes, usually blue"...give me a break. IP: Logged |

When I was done reading the other threads, and before I logged off to write a blog - I thought, "Why not have a look-see at the penis-slash-orgasm-slash-squirting-slash-astro-thread because it is a mighty fun thread. I must say, Star's posts were the most interesting for me because they rung so true. Do you have any links there Star. Maybe I should go google it instead. The biggest I've ever encountered did nothing for me emotionally and therefore he never managed to make me orgasm - despite the Psyche/Valentine (0) conjunction. The one who was with me when I orgasmed (not the one who made me orgasm because I believe it was my mind that did it) my Mars/Eros were conjunct his Moon, in Scorpio. Great sex but even that didn't last long because I was sooner not into him. So... Does size matter? Well, I think a guy who is of similar proportions to me is better suited to me (just as the karma sutra specifies) than someone who is either bigger or smaller than me anatomically (not fat wise, but bones and body wise). Of course, this is not a sure rule, but it makes sense to me. IP: Logged |

Unmoved,Just Google "fat and penis size" and you will get tons of info on how the amount of body fat affects the appearance of penis size. There's also a Wiki article on the human penis (warning--pictures): EDIT I laughed aloud when I read it. More info than you ever want to know about the penis IP: Logged |

Thanks... you can remove the link. I think it is against the rules. Although a penis is a natural thing - some might be offended. Thanks, hun!! IP: Logged |

I see that I need to be more specific about my question because you ladies are getting too far away from the point. The comparison is between astrological energy and physical traits. Basically the question asks if synastry makes for better sex, ex. (Venus/Mars or Moon/Mars) or is it the physical attributes? I wasn't asking whether or not astrology affected the way that someone looked, the two are separate, at least for the sake of this discussion.IP: Logged |

Oh for pete's sake...it's an encyclopedia article. We are talking in factual, scientific terms, not trying to sneak porn in. Penis, penis, penis! There, I said it. I will take it out though, wouldn't want to get myself banned...although I think at this point if the mods were concerned about this thread it would have been shut down by now EDIT: Polo, I apologize. I took cpn's comment about Taureans being hung and ran with it as a general comment on the failures of astrology when it comes to predicting appearance. My thoughts on your original question preceded the tangent. IP: Logged |

Yeah, nothing is really taboo for me, so obviously I personally don't have a problem with the link, but it might go under offensive images to some. I know... :/ edit: especially since you took precaution by having a warning. It's why I asked for the link, then later I realized that 'maybe' it might not be cool. IP: Logged |

Nothing of a sexual nature offends me, not even bestiality, unless someone or something is being harmed. A lot of things are not my cup of tea, but the images don't bother me. Sex is just...sex. I'm sure that is the classic 8th house Venus in Scorpio talking LOL.I refuse to allow people to tell me what's ok to see, hear, or think about. I don't lack morals, but I do think repression is responsible for a lot of society's ills today. And, just to reiterate my earlier comments and keep it astrological...it's all about chemistry. Venus, Mars, Moon, Pluto, Eros...yes! Me being turned on has very little to with how a man looks (although my Taurus and Libra will certainly appreciate aesthetics) and everything to do with what I feel between us. IP: Logged | |
