I posted this in the Soul Unions thread 1st, but changed it to here as this board seems to get more traffic. I do apologize for talking about more synastry and relationship questions. Anyway, for over 11 years now I've been having dreams where I meet with my twin soul. I've always known that they were real meetings. For the past 3 years or so our souls have met even while I'm awake. I always hoped I'd meet him in physical reality, but it was always a blind faith. A while ago I got into a relationship with someone I tried to "make" into my twin, but it was a disaster. Since then, I just knew that since I knew what that kind of love could feel like, I couldn't get involved in a relationship that didn't have the same degree of love and merging, even if it meant I'd be alone for the rest of my life. So I met this guy 2 months ago at work. A week before we met I had a "premonition" that I was going to meet someone that I'd be in a relationship with. The moment our eyes met it was like some spark came out of his eyes and shocked me. I'd never experienced anything like that before. Within that week I was already thinking that he would be the kind of guy I could marry, which was strange because he didn't look or act anything like I had pictured my twin to be like (LOL, I think I had gotten my ideas from romance novels, but I am VERY attracted to 'S' and to his personality). He seemed so kind, and I felt 'safe' with him; I could tell somehow that he had strong ethics. At first I felt a whole range of emotions; I would cry a lot, get angry, I was bringing up old emotions from my past and had no idea what was going on with me. Soon enough I was feeling the same twin soul feelings with him, both meeting in dreams, and while awake. I couldn't believe that after all that time, here he was, in the physical! But though my heart knows, my mind doubts sometimes. I still have insecurities, and fear of rejection, especially because he's not being exactly overt. The problem is that I get very nervous when I'm alone with him. It can be so awkward, and I'm not usually like that with anyone anymore. He's one of my instructors while I'm in training, which makes it a bit complicated, though that will be over in 2 weeks. He's pretty reserved, and I recently found out that he was engaged and they broke up this past Spring, so maybe he's reluctant to get involved again (I broke off an engagement in 2006, so I know how hard that can be). But I feel him come to me in spirit and I can feel how much he loves me and wants to be with me, yet outwardly he's not doing much of anything! He's very nice, and I feel like he looks at me a lot and smiles, but I can't live on that forever. So sometimes I wonder again if I'm delusional. Meanwhile there's another instructor who is perusing me, but though I like him I'm not feeling any soul connection with him, which is important to me. Every time I'm ready to give up on this guy I'll feel his soul come to me very strongly, and if he really is my twin, I don't want to give up on him yet. I'm shy too, so it's not like I'm doing much to let him know how I feel either! Though I do feel I am being a little more forward then he is. It is very frustrating, as I always imagined that when we finally did meet, we'd just be together immediately and that isn't happening, so sometimes I question if it's really him. But I think I have to believe that if God finally brought us together, and I had faith in this love for so long even when I had no idea if he was even a real person or if I was making it up in my head, then I have to keep having faith that God will work it out when the time is right. Here is our charts, I don't know his birth time so ASC, Moon degree, and Vertex is not accurate:    It seems our personal planets are not in compatible elements (especially our Moons which square), so maybe that's why it's awkward. Yet on a soul level I feel I know him so well, and our emotions are so in sync, it's almost telepathic. If there are any other asteroids or anything you'd like me to pull up just let me know. Hmm I'm curious, when you had dreams about your twin flame, did you see his face? Does this man's physical appearance resemble that of your twin flame in your dream?Hmm if possible, can you check if you have any aspects between your soulmate pair asteroids in your natal synastry, as well as draconic synastry?
The pairs are:
- Eros/Psyche;
- Pluto/Persephone or Proserpina;
- Jupiter/Juno;
- Osiris/Isis;
- Adonis/Innanen;

I don't like that your natal Venus is currently experiencing a confusing opposition from Jupiter and Neptune. I think you need to be very careful to not fall victim to wishful thinking. IP: Logged |

Comica, no, I never saw his face, or if I did it would take on the appearance of a celebrity or someone I already knew, which confused me a lot at first because I thought it was my current crush! No, there are NO asteroid pairs.Belage - I will keep that in mind, and I'll have to look at that transit to see how long it will last. I can feel that confusion not just with possible twin, but from other instructor as well. I guess the consensus is not good then? Only going on an estimated time for your dream guy, I will say Taurus rising.
If so, the soul connection does appear pretty good. Despite seeming miles apart, the maths works out in the end.That would mean his 7th is Pluto ruled (Scorpio on the cusp) and making a trine aspect to natal 1st ruler Venus (Taurus)
With his natal Pluto late degrees of Libra, Venus around that time will have further trigged a meeting with a potential partner. Due to the slow moving nature of Pluto, this aspect is the best of his life to meet a partner, should Taurus rise on this occasion.
While the next few years will still feel this effect, this coming year when Venus is at the early degrees of Taurus will be the peak - best time. This can be good for you if you are his partner of choice, though that kind of aspect will clearly indicate he would have many opportunities to choose the best partner for him. So, no worries if it doesn't work out. Should this be Taurus rising, the Pluto/Venus link can also be shown by his recent marriage break-up/divorce. Libra on 6th, Pluto on 7th Looks good. Though much wiser to get a birth time which may not be dodgy!

Good catch Lara...I didn't even notice the DOB's and was getting all excited LOL. But being born less than a month apart will skew things a bit. It's not necessarily bad, just hard to interpret because what appear to be stellar (no pun intended) aspects might be invalid due to proximity. That tandem Moon/Neptune/Mercury t-square in the natals is a little scary though. That sounds like a classic "prone to fantasy/illusion and tendency to lose one's head" scenario that you BOTH would have, although yours is much weaker. There's also a Moon/Neptune t-square that forms in the synastry. Proceed with caution. IP: Logged |

Shankara, though I am not liking the synastry of things, nor the current transits to your Venus Mars conjunction, you might want to take a look at the composite chart which might show a different more promising picture. You do have in your natal the tendency to idealize the love partner, with Neptune in Sagg trining your Venus Mars 7th house conjunction. You want a love that is truly unique and spiritual, and chances are that you will get it eventually, though I am not sure the time is now. After confusing Neptune moves away from opposing your stellium, things will get clearer for you but Neptune moves slowly. IP: Logged |

Do men like it when women initiate? I've never been with a Virgo before, but I hear they're shy? He seems shy. I'm shy too but I like this guy so much I think I might have to do something; even if he turns me down I don't want to live with regrets. His Mars conjuncts my Eros, and I think it's the Eros person who feels that more, so that explains a lot. But it's not sexual for me, I mean I'm attracted to him, but it feels much deeper than that. It doesn't matter who initiates. The more I look at your charts, the more interesting and complex they look. He has a natal exact conjunction of sun and venus which conjuncts your venus mars conjunction, so there is a lot of love compatibility between you two. These conjunctions are trined by Neptune and sextiled by Pluto, so that makes it a very powerful and dreamy energy between you. I see why you would think he is your twin soul... Since the two of you have such strong neptunian aspects natally to your moons and Venus, it is possible that you might be able to handle the current neptunian opposition. I mean, this is energy that you should be already comfortable with... Shankara lol  sorry. You know, i probably shouldn't say this cos it's unethical but from personal experience its really not easy dating someone so close in age. It's fab to begin with cos they are just like you but then after a while all those things that are just like you begin to grate and irritate you. Thanks Belage and Lara! My ex-fiance was 12 years older, which got to me after a while (not astrologically, just because we were in different places). It might be nice, pragmatically, to date someone my own age for a change, who hasn't already had a family but is ready to start a new one with me (not that he is, but I just mean my ex had a child and this man doesn't). But I see what you mean. I'm hoping that maybe because I've dealt with my own aspects, maybe I can deal with the synastry. For instance, I was very depressed when I was younger, had bad self esteem, then got into an abusive relationship. But these past few years I've turned that all around, grew confident, learned how to choose happiness, even felt that spiritual "Oneness" experience with the universe. So maybe I'm used to this Neptunian energy and have now turned it around so I feel the good side? Also, my Vertex is right in there with his Sun-Venus conjunction and my Venus-Mars conjunction, so maybe this is significant as well? I do love him. It sounds crazy, so much so that I only tell myself "I feel love/loving feelings for him," because I don't even know him. But if he is my twin, then I've known him forever, and even in this life I've known him for years. I should really not be complaining about knowing him for 2 months without us being together. I dreamt about him for 11 years with nothing concrete except intuition and faith. At least I know he's HERE, and I wasn't crazy all of those years. I thought it was interesting when I looked at his fb profile for the first time a couple of days ago. His quote was from a movie, and it was about passionate love and risking all to love, because without falling in love passionately and completely then you haven't lived. And to me I haven't known men to talk like this. Also, his favorite movies contained some chick flick/soulmate movies, so I can't help but wonder if he had the dreams/soul meetings too. Belage, it does matter which person initiates the relationship, in terms of astrology.While women seem to have problems going up and speaking to a fella, it is only natural, though still all about personal choice. The world works how astrology is set up. Mars is the ACTION, Venus is REACTION. Just in this example. As Mars is ruler of Aries and also 1st house, with Venus ruler Libra and 7th, you can attribute Aries 1st house as Man - initiator and Venus as Woman - receiver. Looking at a composite chart or even 1st meeting chart, whoever initiates the relationship will be house 1 - the Mars role. It doesn't mean they will turn into a Man (if it were a woman) nor does it mean they will control/boss.

What you just wrote sounds EXACTLY like me 10 years ago!!!! I met a man who was 15 days older than me and i felt exactly the same way.. he was a very karmic relationship for me and i married him and had 3 kids.

Shankara, if you are looking for a soul type connection, I would look at a person aged 12 years older, younger, or same age. Someone born around end of November/early December too!Should this relationship not work out, and you have the time, look at your natal chart when transit Jupiter is conjunct natal Sun and Sun is conjunct natal Jupiter.  Psyche and Eros wouldn't fit, but it looks like my natal Nessus and Destinn are Leo 11 and 12, and my Eros is Leo 8, which conjuncts his Mars at Leo 7, and his Valentine and Nessus, both at Leo 8. His Karma is at Leo 11. Mine is at Leo 26, which exactly conjuncts my Venus. I've never worked with Nessus before; what does it signify? My Lilith (never worked with her either) is at Virgo 4, conjuncting my vertex at Vg 2 and his Venus and Sun at Vg 1. Oh, and his Lilith is at leo 18 and my Valentine is at Leo 21.
