I don't see any planets there.

Trine and sextile don't really count too much. Their effects would not be noticeable. It's the conjunction, opposition, and square that count. That would be why you didn't feel anything.

Asteroids DO NOT count in eclipse UNLESS there are hits (as mentioned above) to natal planets. Then it may take on the flavor of the asteroid, but that would be secondary to the planet.

Orcus is no small object. It's larger than Pluto's fellow dwarf planet,Ceres. It meets the criteria of dwarf planet. Therefore, it's a dwarf planet candidate. It won't be long till Orcus become equal to Eris,Pluto,Makemake,Haumea,and Ceres as dwarf planets. Sedna is larger than Orcus too,and so it also meets criteria of dwarf planet. Quaoar is larger than Ceres,and so it also meets criteria of dwarf planet. Varuna is also larger than Ceres too,and so it meets criteria of dwarf planet. Ixion is a little smaller than Ceres, and it will also meet criteria of dwarf planet.

Ceres is the only asteroid that is dwarf planet.

Orcus is named after the Etruscan God of the Underworld. He was said to punish people who broke their oaths.

Because it's astronomically similar to Pluto, it makes sense that it is also astrologically similar to Pluto. Therefore, it can be an object that involves intensity,transformation,elimination like Pluto. of course, it could also be about oaths and promises.

Orcus is no joke. I have Venus trine Orcus with 41 minutes of arc. I have Sun contraparallel Orcus with 1 minute of arc, similar to a very close Sun-Orcus opposition. My mother has Orcus conjunct Ascendant with 11 minutes of arc.

But I think it will be more positive changes for me because the positive aspect to the stellium in virgo and my DNA/osiris in taurus. I don't ignore sextile/trine. I love the subtle positive changes in the life. It must not always be visible dramatic change. People can have an effect and influence in there life in positive way. The common healthy can also be improves.

I went out on NYE with a friend of a friend who I met on holiday last year (on Oct 31) and her brother and his friends who I had never met before. A spare ticket came up and the night before we'd been out and seen my ex and the girl he broke up with me for holding hands .. I was pretty upset .. so the next day she offered me the spare ticket just when I was giving up going out at all on NYE... and I thought.. why the hell not ! Throw myself into meeting new people and going to new places!!!

I had one of the best nights in my life! In fact everyone in the group said they'd had the best NYE ever that night. So instead of going out with my old regular crowd (who I have been spending this year trying to separate myself from) ... I feel like I have found a whole new bunch of friends who are in the same (mental) place as me, and I can't wait to see what lies ahead in 2010!

This was the first eclipse in 2009 where I wasn't affected badly... the complete opposite in fact. There was no mediocrity for me at all in 2009 which was filled with a rollercoaster ride of sharp ups and downs.

I really believe in eclipse energy after a year like this when so many profound things in my life have centred around the eclipses.

Thanks for the helpful words from LL peeps that have helped me through these times .. I've only been here since August but I really appreciate people listening to what I have gone through.. it's been intense! And I've had fun learning more and more about astrology

That orb for your jupiter is not too wide at all. Anything within 5 degrees is in orb. Glad you had a nice holiday!

Every individual have an responsibility to other people. I cant have a fraudulent condukt and than blame on something...
