Every month the Moon travels in her orbit completely around the Earth. Every month we have a �Full Moon�, when the Moon opposes the Sun. Approximately every six months we have a Lunar Eclipse. A Lunar Eclipse is when the shadow of the Moon is on the Earth. It occurs only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned with the Earth in the middle, when the Moon is on the far side of the Earth from the Sun: when there is a Full Moon. Unlike a Solar Eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse can be observed from nearly an entire hemisphere and is completely safe to watch with the naked eye. Protective filters are not necessary and neither is a telescope. A pair of binoculars will magnify the view making the red coloration brighter and easier to see. The moon looks red because while the Moon remains completely within Earth's umbral shadow, indirect sunlight still manages to reach and illuminate it. However, this sun- light must first pass deep through the Earth's atmosphere which filters out most of the blue colored light. The remaining light is a deep red or orange in color and is much dimmer than pure white sunlight. ALL Eclipses are course correctors meant to change your life!!

This month�s Full Moon is a partial lunar eclipse that will take place on December 31. This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs as the Moon passes through the constellation of Cancer at 10�15�. At exactly 2:13am the Sun will be moving opposite the Moon through the constellation of Capricorn at 10�15�. The Earth will be moving through Capricorn blocking the light of the Sun to the Moon as it falls in direct alignment at 10�15� with the Sun and Moon. This Eclipse in the Moon�s own sign of Cancer can stir deep waters within families and close friendships. As you know, we tend to be more emotionally expressive during a Full Moon. That full Moon is really hitting my chart: My natal VERTEX is exactly at 10° Cancer in my 8th - opposing my EROS at 8° Capricorn in my 2nd. So that full Moon will take place right on my personal Vertex-Antivertex/Eros-axxis ... on my 2nd/8th-house axxis of self-worth/merging.

These news WOULD tantalize me if I had at least a crush on someone, currently. But I don't have. I'm gonna meet a man at that small New Year's party who seems to be "into me", to a degree. But I am not very attracted, I must say. To be honest: I think it'll be a pretty boring New year's eve... Anyway, our bunch of people will go dancing later ... Maybe there'll be some excitement there?

The Moon will Conjunct Venus and Ascendant. Natal and transiting Venus will be opposed, so I do not foresee any love developments. But am thinking with it hitting my first house, I could actually make a resolution about fitness and stick to it. Or, maybe a previously unknown health issue will surface - migraines or something with the head?

Yeah...sounds like a blast on New Years eve

I kinda wonder if my whole cuspie thing plays into this at all.. My bday is September 22nd and Virgo just never felt right for me...

I was kinda hoping to spend it with this guy I've only been on one date with, but kinda like him... so... maybe not... lol.
