LOL my middle brother was a biter.
There is one pic where you can see how he strokes my hair and bites into my arm at the same time.
And several times he would bite me so much that I would start to bleed. Well, at the same time I had been having a whole lot of his hair in my hand. Serves him right! Biting me! Jeez, and I was the older one! as a matter of fact I still am.
Sisteraunt -
well she is technically my aunt, but has been growing up in our household (her mum had died); she came to us, when I was about a year old, and thus she felt more like a sister to me (she is only 8 years older).

 my ASC is at 7 Sag (as well as asteroid Angel - that could be counter-productive) and Mars is at 5 Sag, and my Hekate and Lilith are on 6 and 8 Virgo.
So I will be mean. I will use my witchcraft on you. MWAHAHA.
Jeez, I shouldn´t have said that aloud, should I?

Hi Jane you explained the ascendant in synastry very well for me! Thank you, you cleared that up.
I think where I'm at is trying to get a FEEL for a chart now rather than just analysing it. So that helps ALOT!Even helps to make the connection to applying the natal chart directly to the synastry...

vapor -Ah ok, I think I get what you mean about how synastry's explained. That way focuses on what's created, but doesn't take a step back to how. Hence, you titling this thread "how synastry works."  I can be a little slow on the uptake, especially when compliments are involved.  quote:

Yes, I've noticed the same thing about seeking different people's company depending on where I want to be touched. Astrologically. I'm working with people who all have their Sun or Moon in fire signs, and we have such a blast together. We highlight each other's fire. DD -Your middle brother intrigues me.  So my Mars squares your Asc?! It's like a gift from the heavens! (That explains Angel's involvement.) I get to clobber you anywhere I want! I admit. Hearing about your witchcraft gave me pause, but I have Jupiter cnj my Mars. That means Jupiter can don a cheap suit and go blabbering on about "the devil is among us" and I'll get your @ss hung! Hanged? Whichever, you're gonna be swinging! Only if you break out the voodoo though.  You're welcome.I'm glad that helped. I still think about how Asc contact works too. The experience can feel different depending on the planet, the other person's relationship with that planet, and our relationship with that planet as well as with our Asc. For example, I've had some rather f-f-frightening experiences with Venus in Scorpio cnj my Asc. This synastry aspect has been strong and bonding for me in platonic relationships. I really love it then. But when the other person has wanted to pin my Asc down in a romantic relationship with them, I would feel like they were angry at other parts of me (like my Sag sun) and didn't understand or like my free, mutable nature. So instead of their Venus on my Asc making me feel all lovey-dovey and desired, it would make me feel hunted and pressured on a deep emotional level. IP: Logged |

Jane - Yes exactly.. They seldom focus on "how".. Usually I only find synastry interpretations of particular aspects and they get very repetitive.

I only had this happen in my last year of high school (I switched schools). Every single person was a fire or air sign (but mainly fire). It might sound like I'm exaggerating, but naw.. It could be because the school was based on an alternative schooling-concept: more laid back, less rules & no uniforms. I guess it appealed to a few fire-sign people.
