Wait, who gave you an astrology column? No offense but you ask a lot of newb questions on here (not to mention talking about cusps GAHHH). And your immaturity regarding certain placements (Venus in Gem, Moon in Cap) makes me believe that you're not ready to guide others.IP: Logged |

I only act like that here though. I feel i have to dumb myself down here. I treat people as old as they act - which with alot of you is like you're 15. The moderators seem pretty cool and grown up, and a few of the posters know where i'm coming from like vapour, lara, spanky, belgz etc etc, but honestly alot of you contribute nothing to this forum other than back-biting, sycophanticism (a$$-kissing) and talking about day to day stuff like with the different boys you sleep with every weekend. Not once do any of you posit real intelligent astrological concepts. It's hard to even converse with you. Because you're like toddlers.------------------ neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk IP: Logged |

SoVN - I agree with Pire - step away!I am new here, and was immediately struck by how warm some of the threads are. There is clearly a mutually supportive community that makes me feel gooey inside. It took a few days of exploring for me to come across the more vitriolic ones, and they make me get cross and feel bad. That's kind of counter-productive, so now I am trying to avoid them. I have only just come back on from posting earlier and am quite shocked at the turn this humourous and chatty thread has taken. I started trying to figure PDF out.....and came up with nothing, other than maybe too much red wine? Hope it's just that PDF? IP: Logged |

Well i have been quite angry today. My dad has been around me. I'm not drunk now though. I do realise how rude i can be, but i'm only intersted in getting to the truth, and sometimes the quick route is to be sharp and blunt to stop all the 'guff'. This thread started out ok. Then most of the sound people went to bed, and all the sycophants came out to knife me in the back. Why can't they just leave me alone, or abuse me quickly then move on. Abuse is fine, but let's not let it take over a subject, the route of which was to actually find out something interesting like how long it takes to transit a cusp. So just abuse me and move on. I like getting abuse because it's attention. But don't cloud my subject and make yourselves look thick and young. The subject of a thread must always take priority.------------------ neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk IP: Logged |

No words, just...no words. Actually I have lots of words but I'll keep them to myself. Anyhoo, I had actually stepped away Eskimono, because I had say all I wanted to say BUT... I did want to say "Hi!" and welcome you. LL is fine. The last couple of days have been...interesting, but it's not usually like that. I think it's the eclipse and new egos floating around. Hopefully it'll mellow out again soon. IP: Logged |

...Right. Before you came back there wasn't as much drama on this forum. Maybe you should learn to respect people a bit more instead of calling them "sl*ts" or "half woman" or just having a snotty attitude in general. You can't go around insulting people and cry "WAHHH PEOPLE ARE MAD AT ME!!! WAHHH." Please. Nothing is more annoying than an arrogant victim.I am young. IP: Logged |

Amowls,You're funny. Maybe it's a Southern thing. I'm from Virginia too. Rudeness just rubs us the wrong way, doesn't it? IP: Logged |

Where did i say WAHHH? I said i liked people abusing me. That half-woman thing was just for fun. It was posted on a thread about nothing, so it was fine. If someone wants to post a thread about their ego then that's what they get - me discussing them. If they actually post about a subject then they're more likely to get a discussion about an astrological subject. Surely that makes sense.------------------ neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk IP: Logged |

Polo C (who is rude too) had specific subjects. You went in there just to insult him.You two are really one of a kind and it's interesting that you would both pop up (or in your case pop back) in the same week. IP: Logged |

Ah. Maybe for me it's Southern + uber diplomatic Libra stellium then. I am nice to the jerkiest of the jerks and the craziest of the crazies on here (the proof is in the pudding all over the boards) so if I get mad at someone it's because they are really over the top. IP: Logged |

Ooh, I like Fire. Since Fire is both evocative and general, why not pick something mild and specific for the last name, like Adams (specific since it's like your real first name.) Fire Adams. Congratulations on your gig and my condolences for sharing part of your day with monkeys. IP: Logged |

Predfire, your typing is fine and considering the average astro-colum (in the average magazine, newspaper) is full of extremely cliche, regurgitated, sun-sign only material.. I'm positive that whatever you do with it is bound to be more original and fun than the "typical" same old junk.Re: your questions.. The transiting time has a very small window. At 10: 15 AM on the day I was born Venus is at 29'59 Aries.. At 10:20 AM it is at 00'03 Taurus. This is also the time when ASC changes from 29'59 Gemini to 00'0whatever in Cancer. It drives me nuts because I just don't know which combination is accurate for me. Linda Goodman's position on this, was that - the planet is either in ONE sign or the other. She didn't believe in cusps. I generally agree to this, although many other astrologers do take cusps into account. What would count as a cusp? 25 - 30 deg .. and 1 - 5 deg, at most! It's kind of tedious to post every planet and the length of their cycles in a sign. I don't know them off by heart and they are not always exact to the day. Some change from year to year, like Mars (if they Retrograde). I think Mars is spending half-a-year in Leo now.. whereas usually it spends about two months in a sign. Just look them up! lol IP: Logged |

It's not that great people but thanks anyway. It's not like i'm being paid or anything. It's just a case of promoting yourself, speaking to the right person and getting in there. My aim is not money but to be nationally recognised and make people believe in astrology. It's a start being in this mag. ------------------ neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk IP: Logged |
