Last November, I met a Doreen Virtue angel reader named Karyn at co-op natural foods store in November.
I got an angel reading from her last month. She told me that my main life purpose is to help the Indigo,Crystal Children card.
She basically confirmed what I had already told her when I first met her, and so I was skeptical at first.
My skepticism disappeared when she pulled out the same metratron: indigo crystal children card put of the archangel card deck that she had shuffled. That confirmed what she told me at the beginning of the reading,she showed me that card.
It made made me open my eyes. She also told me that I am an Earth Angel, and that I am one of the incarnated angel types.
She told me that is why I always felt so different. I told her that I thought it was because of my neurological/learning differences
and special education which got me referred to as "special" and "retard" She also told me that the angels told me that working
with crystals and stones is something that would greatly benefit me, and she gave me a list of crystals and stones that I could use.
She told me various things including that divine intervention will be involved in meeting my soul partner. She told me that the
angels that are working with me right now are Metatron,Gabriel,and Raziel.

I got some angel cards like the ones that the angel reader got.
The first card I picked out of the decks was the Metatron:Indigo,Crystal Children card!
I am definitely going to use those cards a lot. I have been praying to Metatron,Gabriel,and Raziel a lot as well as the archangels, Michael,Raphael,and Uriel.
My Moon is in alignment with Royal Star, Pisces Austrinus Fomalhaut, and that star happens to be associated with the Archangel Gabriel. Gabriel is the angel that involves communications..

I consulted with the archangel cards for the main theme of this year, and I ended up drawing out
the Metatron Indigo,Crystal Children card!

Last month,December 7th of last year, my mother almost died of an infection in her leg from her diabetes,and she had to get her leg amputated. Now she has no legs. That event with my mother was also a catalyst that got me very interested in angels. Transiting Saturn was quincunx my Moon/Sedna sextile for a yod transit. That a time of sadness,adjustment in regards to my mother and my compassion for her. An adjustment in regards to spiritual feelings too. In Right Ascension, transiting Saturn was quincunx Moon/Sedna sextile, with Saturn almost exactly opposite my Moon/Sedna midpoint. Transiting Saturn was also square my Sun/Moon midpoint which is the integration of the self expression and emotional focus.

I had a lucid dream where I was flying, asking for Archangel Michael. I ended up finding him as he appeared to me. I asked him to help me find my soulpartner, and he told me that he would write a letter and send it out. A little after that, I called out names of other angels and asked them to watch over my mother's health.
That was the first time that ever called out angels in my dreams, let alone actually had one respond to me in a dream. That happened on December 22nd ,last month. The day after the night of my Lunar Return. Moon in Pisces.

That's how much I have grown interested in angels.

I talk to angels a lot now. I always ask them for help,guidance,protection,and to keep me in the light and away from darkness. I have pretty much given my life to them, telling them that I can't do it alone and that I need them to be here for me. I am more open to them. I believe that angels communicate with us in so many different ways. I realized that I had messages from angels many times, but I ignored them out of fear and doubt.

I got 5 of Doreen Virtue's books about angels,lightworker.

I even ordered 4 archangel mini statues of Michael,Gabriel,Raphael,and Uriel so I can put on my bed headboard.

just a few days ago, I consulted with the angel therapy cards, I asked them if I should be a vegetarian. Ever since the angel consultation that I had with the angel reader, I was wondering if I should be a vegetarian in order for me to be an effective lightworker and connect well with the Indigo,Crystal children.
I shuffled the 44 angel therapy cards, and one card fell out of the deck. It was the Vegetarian/Vegan card! No....I am not kidding. That was the card that actually fell out of the deck. I backed away in astonishment, saying "Holy Sh-t" hahahahaha
I realized that I was given a direct answer, Yes...I should be a vegetarian. I decided to be lacto ovo vegetarian. I used to be one before,but I did it out of guilt. Now I become one because I feel that it is my path and the angels have told me so as well as my own intuitive feelings. Just last New Year's eve, I even ordered organic food without any meat. I ordered another type of male multivitamin to replace the one that had fish oil in it. I ordered DHA capsules,made from algae to replace the fish oil that I use. I am very serious about my new path as a lacto ovo vegetarian to help me in my path as a lightworker to connect to the Indigo,Crystal children. I know in my soul that my soulpartner,my future wife,my future mother of my children that I will end up with a vegetarian and will also be working with Indigo,Crystal children. I truly believe that the angels have guided me to be a vegatarian in preparation for her and not just for my main life purpose of working with Indigo,Crystal children.

I have changed my view about angels. My mother always thought that an angel saved us the night that she got shot by a paranoid schizophrenic that broke in our house back in October 26, 1974 which was 3 days before my 3rd birthday. I was with her at the time. Both of us would have been shot to death. She told me that she felt somebody help her get up from the ground and guided her out of the house even though she had blood covering her face from getting shot in the hand and eye. I used to think that it was just my mom's Roman Catholic beliefs.
Now, I truly believe that my mom was right all along. An angel did deliver us from death. I believe that an angel delivered my cousin Shavon from death when she got shot multiple times with the bullets going around her heart without touching it like somebody covered it up. That was back in 1995. I thought it was her being lucky. Now I believe that angels saved her life too. I believe that angels have saved many lives of people on our planet. I believe that if we call for their help, they will help us.

YES...I believe in angels. I believe that they are with me just like I believe that they are with everybody else. They can be at all places simultaneously.

I believe in angels. They are real to me just like Astrology is real to me.

Karyn and I developed a good friendship. She and I both see each other as people that we really like and admire.
She even told me that I could call her any time. She enjoys listening to the experiences that I have with the cards.

Our synastry shows that our meeting each other was no accident. It was meant to happen. That's why I asked her
for an angel consulation.

My Sun in 5'20 Scorpio conjunct the conjunction of her North Lunar Node in 5'39 Scorpio and her Neptune in 4'45
Scorpio indicates a strong mystical,karmic connection for sure. Her Sun in 6'23 Aquarius squares that conjunction too.

There was a moment when I was quite young when I was really unwell and I asked to die and immediately a green angel came before me and put out their hand. I reached out to grab it and suddenly became afraid and retracted my hand very quickly. I feel very connected to my angels. They are my first port of call and I'm never alone. I love the security of that.

Astrologically, asteroid Angel is on the same degree as asteroid Talent in Aquarius 11th house (humanitarian). I love the translation that IQ once gave me that it's my talent to be a (peace) angel. Asteroid Saint Michel sits nicely between Mercury and Venus in Aries 1st, directly opposite Vertex.

because I had doubts and fears. I also value critical thinking, and it can be useful. I even think Randi has done some good in exposing frauds just like Houdini did.

Many astrologers stress that hard Neptune aspects can indicate problems with being grounded,impractical,and can have problems distinguishing fact from fantasy. Of course,there is the confusion,deception,illusion,and addictions that they talk about too. I have hard Neptune aspects. Some astrologers suggest staying away from occult,magick,channeling,and mediumism. They stress this especially with the hard Moon-Neptune aspects with its over sensitivity , and I have the Moon in Pisces square Neptune with only 1'23 orb, and so Moon-Neptune double whammy but involving hard aspect....so too receptive to the metaphysical realm. I read stuff that astrologers wrote about hard Moon-Neptune aspects that seems like psychosis,schizophrenia. I believe that there is a very fine line betweem mysticism,shaman,psychism and schizophrenia,psychosis.

In medical Astrology, hard Neptune aspects can also indicate misdiagnoses too.

I do believe in science,psychiatry as much as I believe in metaphysical,astrology. I believe in reincarnation,but I also believe in genetics. I also believe that our astrological charts can be in synchronicity with our genes,chromosomes,DNA. I do have doubts,skepticism about things in science,psychiatry, but I also have doubts,skepticism about things in metaphysical,astrology. I definitely have doubts,skepticism about organized religions. I always felt uncomfortable with them. I went to church for 3 years,and that was pretty much it. Growing up, I always had some interest in occult stuff. I also grew up reading a lot of Greek,Roman,Norse mythology. I was always interested in Astronomy. After I learned about theory of evolution in 7th grade, I stopped going to church. Most of my life, I believed in God, always talking to God. I was an atheist for a couple of years until the suicide of my maternal grandfather on January 25, 1998. That got me on a spiritual search that led me to New Age,New Thought stuff, Astrology. My grandfather was a spiritual catalyst for me.

I have a very strong Saturn influence that could indicate as strong critical thinking emphasis but also doubts and fears. it can also be practical and grounded too.

Of course,I am skeptical about using tropical zodiac for people born in southern hemisphere because it's a northern hemisphere season based zodiac. I am planning on developing an astrological system that includes the latest astronomical discoveries like the transneptunians as well as coordinates that astronomers use which are Right Ascension and Declination. It will also involve the use of geocentric and planetary nodes. There will be no zodiac sign system nor house system. It will be strictly aspects,geometry.

I am leaning more towards the concepts of Reinhold Ebertin,Johannes Kepler,and Theodor Landscheidt

I want to develop a 21st Century Astrology.

Personally, I have had a little story aobut angels, too.
When I was a bit more than a year old, I jumped into a swimmingpool. Of course I couldn`t swim and instantly drowned. My father was seeking for me under water but he couldn`t find me (my mom can`t swimm, besides I think she was most scared, as she had to witness her own brother drowning and dying, when he was my age).
But then I was suddenly there again. My father once mentioned: "It was as if someone had placed you onto my arm."

I wanted to add that I am very intrigued by your approach to astrology and that I am eagerly awaiting your astrology for the 21st century.

As a matter of fact I think we are striving for the same thing. A system of astrology that is consistently applicable and "logical", one that we feel really sure of.

We may arrive at slightly different conclusions, but I just like your passion on this search for your astrological system, as it resembles my own so much.

BTW I was just recently starting to give much more relevance to "closed circuits", meaning, in synastry (or natal) planets that are all aspecting each other.

An example would be a Grand trine, but also any other configuration, even a trine with two sextiles, or an opposition with sextile and trine.

I was just thinking that such a collection of planets "communicating" with each other, may be more important / visible / clear as isolated aspects.

My mother was actually very physically,verbally abusive to me. Heck..I still have scar above my right eyebrow where I had to get stitches from when she slapped me very hard across the face and my glass frames cut into my face. The reason why I got slapped, I told her that I was crying because kids wouldn't play with me. There was more to it. I was mainly crying because a girl that I liked was moving away. I was 11 years old.

my mother and I had a love n' hate relationship filled with much turbulence and volatility. Our composite chart has Moon square Eris within half a degree orb too. That aspect seemed to reflect those issues far more than the Moon,Neptune,Pluto minor grand trine

my mom always had problems with her temper,throwing things,banging things,cussing. Many times,I have been cussed out by her. The older that I got, the more that she thought it was ok to hit me. She and I argued a lot.

She didn't like it when I talked backed to her because I didn't agree with what she said. Like I said before, I am the type to retort and make a rebuttal to something that I didn't like nor agree with. I was rebellious with her in that way. She saw it as "getting smart", and it enraged her, so she would cuss at me. She would hit me.

She is an extremely hypersensitive,emotional,impulsive person. She can be quite the hothead. She is a neuro-divergent like myself. Yeah...she didn't like when people talk to her and treated her like she was stupid. That would really upset her. I also believe that she had psychological problems stemming from not knowing her mother and her being abused in foster homes. She was in 13 foster homes before. Of course,she also admitted her history of post tramautic stress which she never got treated for too.

The transneptunians - evolutionary intensified lessons....hard aspects tend to indicate trauma,abuse.

I would even say that my Sun in 5'20 conjunct true Black Moon Lilith in 5'42 Scorpio Retrograde indicates how my Lilith-like mother engulfed me.

Of course, my experiences with my mother taught me not to think of females as the weaker sex.

no.....I would say that my mom was not a wonderful mother. However, she did her best in her own way. I always had food to eat and clothes on my back. I didn't lack for material things.

her father's suicide was one of the things that got me closer to my mother. My exgf Meghann was also a catalyst in me forgiving my mother.

with her being so sick, it's also hard to be angry and hate her. Instead,I have love and compassion for her. As her only child, I accept the responsibility and obligations of being here for her and support her. She told me straight up that she knows that she can depend on me. It's ironic....as a mother, she took care of me when I was a special education needs child. As an adult,I support my mother because of her special needs as a person with serious health problems,physical disability. Sun trine Sedna less than half a degree in the composite chart.

I believe that the aforementioned things is one of the main focuses of my Solar Return with stationary Chiron-Jupiter-Neptune in 4th conjunct the Imum Coeli. Also Sedna in 7th square Neptune-Chiron in 4th. Venus trine Jupiter-Chiron in 4th can also be an indicator. There is also Sun conjunct Ceres which can also be an indicator. Of course, solar return Moon conjunct natal Moon.
Transiting Saturn in a yod transit with my Moon-Sedna sextile was in synchroncity with my mom almost dying. A transit that had to do with responsibility,obligation, but also compassion and adjustments in my spiritual outlook i.e. getting into angel stuff.

since my Solar Return started, I have re-connected with quite a few relatives through facebook.

My mother is doing fine now. She is in a convalescent home which is just a block away from my church. I plan on visiting her every Sunday. I am not in the mood to go to church today, but I am going to see her later on today.

This thread was only about my new interest in angels, and the astrology of it. I even had told D.D. before I created this thread that I would make an astrological version post of the angel stuff that I talked about in a previous thread.

This was not a thread to get any compassion,sympathy,and other things that somebody accused me of in another thread. I am not the type of person asks for it, but I am the type who will easily give it. I am complexed in that way. I feel that some people confuse the desire for understanding and raising awareness about certain things for the desire to have compassion,sympathy.

I felt the need to get that out. I don't like people accusing me of things without knowing what true intentions are.

I do believe that some people take their psychic abilities/intuition/perceptions for granted. However, no matter how psychic,intuitive,perceptive we are, we can always be wrong about something. I don't believe that anybody is 100 percent accurate. Also some people can be very hard to pin down. Even things like first impressions don't always work, especially if they are based on biases and how we are conditioned to perceive certain things.

for example, a lot of people are taught that poor eye contact is a sign of dishonesty. However there are people that have poor eye contact because of either shyness/social anxiety or sensory integration/coordination issues like a person has problems looking at a person (especially if they have eye tracking issues) and processing language (talking and/or listening) at the same time.

I have poor eye contact with people because of combination of shyness/social anxiety due to my problems with processing language (speech,auditory processing) and the sensory integration/coordination issues.

btw...I was wondering what you thought about the synastry between Karyn and me? I think that it's amazing the connections that she and I have...even her Angel sextile my Moon with only 3 minutes of arc. Also,her Sedna is exactly sextile my Mars too. It seems that meeting her was no accident and that I followed my intuitive feelings and even the angel's guidance when I contact her and got an angel consultation from her.

BTW She is not much younger than my mother,and so she is not a romantic option for me. She and I have become friends. I thank her for the insights that she gave me and being a catalyst for my believing in angels now.

I believe that it's a Solar Return of meeting a lot of people that will help me with my path. I do believe that one of them will be my soulpartner,future wife,mother of my children.

btw..I met a numerologist named Dee,and I had a consultation with her too. I have significant synastric connections with her. Her asteroid name for her last name was prominent in my Solar Return,Lunar Return,and natal chart. She is older than my mom,and so she's not a romantic option either. Interestingly, she has Sun in Aquarius like Karyn and even has Venus in Aquarius oppose Uranus in Leo like her.

very interesting angel stuff. I am glad that you didn't drown.

I think when 3 objects are in aspect to each other,it's a significant theme. Also there could be a corresponding midpoint picture whether it's conjunction,opposition,square,semisquare,and sesquiquadrate.

I've been listening to it for several years & it's one of the most uplifting & inspiring radio stations in existence.

I became intrested in her work in the early noughtie's after reading her book "The lightworkers way."
I met her in person in a workshop/lecture in 2005, as a result my opinion is that her strengths lie in writing, radio & creating cards as opposed to giving live lectures or live readings.

Her cards a great tool fo guidance but IMO & my experience, the recognition of working with Angels/Angelic energy was when I began practical service work. (Spiritual healing, Reiki, readings, voluntary work and working with disaffected children & young refugees.)
Before that point I was only receiveing healing from them.

Perhaps it's different strokes for different folks.

Your mom is definitely a survivor. I'm sorry to hear about her legs.

I definitely believe in angels. Belief in angels is usually inherent in Catholicism (I'm Catholic), but my grandmother also passed that belief down to me. She was a very psychic and gifted person (one day I will post her chart--unfortunately I don't have her birth time but I might be able to come close if I interview some relatives). She even received a visitation from an angel once! The angel told her that she was under divine protection from entities that wanted to destroy her due to her gifts.

She prayed to the "ministering angels" a lot, mostly for her family, these being her children and grandchildren. I was her first and favorite grandchild. She prayed for me all the time. She gave me my name at birth and since you know my name, you know the synchronicity

When I was on my way to see her on the fourth of July when I was 18, I was driving my first car. I was a new driver, a very bad driver actually. I'm amazed my parents let me drive my brand new car such a long way on the highway (she lived about 3 hours away). I got into a car accident because I was messing with the radio and spun off the highway in a 360 degree circle with oncoming traffic approaching. I thought I was going to die. I closed my eyes and knew I that when I woke up I was going to be dead.

Instead, when I opened them, I was safely on the shoulder, facing the correct way and everything, not a scratch on me or the car I know I was saved because of her angels watching over me. I never told anyone about that experience.

On that day, transiting Angel was at 24'14" Gemini, exact square my Sun at 24'54" Virgo.

In my natal chart, asteroid Angel is trine my Moon within 44 minutes of arc.

Without a doubt, I'm a believer.

How do we trust these experiences as real? If we receive someone else's thoughts telepathically we can simply ask that person if what we heard was true & they can tell us it was. We can take for granted that the person we're speaking to is real. But there's no way for us to ask the experience of an angel if it is real. Frustrating!

I've never believed in angels, but this thread has got me interested. And it's only right that I take angels more seriously since I have Angel at 4º Sco cnj my Asc at 5º.

Sorta like how you suspected your mom believed because of her Roman Catholic upbringing, I didn't believe because of mine. Angels had a religious, unnatural connotation for me. But the thing is, I do experience all that other stuff you mentioned: that feeling of communicating with a spiritual source, getting messages, even that physical feeling of being "pushed along" by something outside myself.

I never chalked any of that up to angels though. Those first two felt like an awareness of the spiritual that exists along with the physical, but I've always thought of the spiritual as One. I'm not much for bureaucracy, and angels seemed like that to me. And that last thing - the physical pressure guiding me - I thought was the result of emotions/adrenaline making me perceive the sensation of movement in a surreal way.

Early last year I experienced something new to me. I'd been lying down. I heard one word being spoken from within me. The sensation was exactly like hearing someone else speak, except the person was speaking from inside, not outside me.

The word spoken wasn't at all in line with what I'd been thinking or where I was emotionally. It was an answer, guidance through what I was experiencing even though I hadn't even been looking for an answer.

I shot up and looked around me for the source of the voice. No one was there. But I knew I'd heard it.

So what am I supposed to do with that? It sounds like I'm going insane, hearing voices!

I would probably be fearing for my sanity even more if something similar had never happened to me before, but I've had many experiences of hearing other people's thoughts telepathically.

So I do already know that telepathy is real, but removing the speaker (& their ability to verify the message) makes me have to believe this other experience is real on faith alone. Faith that I can trust myself not to be insane. And I sometimes doubt that!

I am interested in what you said about the angels.
I definitely believe there is good out there....yet I am sort of afraid....to trust.....in anything I'm not sure about yet.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with your mother, etc. I feel that talking about things can be incredibly healing...not just for the one talking....but for the world as a whole.

We need more empathy here.
