I am not disagreeing with you. But I find it highly problematic to base an opinion about a historical relationship on a TV-series alone. They are usually not THAT accurate, as they mostly want to entertain their audience; besides every novel or TV-script, dealing with historical romance, is in itself an interpretation, and usually reflects the opinion of the writer in big ways. I am not saying that this is wrong, only that we have to be careful and do more research, using different and reliabel sources (of course it could be a point of discussion,w hat a reliable source is)."

Exactly. That's why I put little emphasis on television,movie stuff when it comes to historical figures,events. There is always a lot of fiction in it.
