edit: I didn't add one.ASC: Virgo 6: A merry-go-round Round and round we go.... The famous ride to nowhere is not about the futility of trying to make forward progress... something a circular merry-go-round will never delivery. It is about the attempt of the individual to work with others, to pursue the dream in a social context. The idea is to mesh with others like the gear that move a merry-go-round. There may be ups and downs but this is to be expected in the context of the larger picture. In a sense, this is about getting onto the ride with others... not without an element of fun... and take up the challenges of moving forward together... even if it seems to be a circular pattern that continually returns to the same thing. Sun: Leo 5: Rock formations at the edge of a precipice Vertigo or Geronimo... Ever feel like you have been backed into a corner or have your back pressed up against a wall. With nowhere to back up, the only way available is forward. Through Leo 5, the way forward isn't just a simple matter of walking as if on a solid path. The way forward seems a leap into a deep dark abyss. Naturally, when stepping off a cliff into a bottomless pit is your only option, a little anxiety may arise.... vertigo. And, when you say "Jump!" and leap off into the unknown you might shout "Geronimo!". Moon: Aquarius 14: A train entering a tunnel
The Midwife degree... labour begins... Aquarius 14 indicates a high degree of work... labour.... that is like carrying or pulling a heavy load. there seems to be little choice in the matter. It is likened to the beginnings a child birth for the birth mother. The image is highly focussed on passing through a narrow passageway as if entering a train tunnel. The light at the end of the tunnel is the goal and compelling point of focus that carries the development along. IP: Logged |

My sabian symbols represent a lot of action and affinity with the the hidden sides of reality. Sun: Leo 8: An activist is stirring up discontent by spreading his revolutionary ideals. Moon: Pisces 4: Heavy car traffic linking two seaside resorts. Asc.: Sagittarius 14: A vast panorama of sand and time is unfolding; the pyramids and sphinx in their glory rise before the eye. Hm..I thought I had Leo 7* with that nice constellations of stars but I've Leo 8* (as 7*25)Sun: PHASE 128 (LEO 8°): A COMMUNIST ACTIVIST SPREADING HIS REVOLUTIONARY IDEALS. KEYNOTE: The emotional and ideological attempt to return to a state of non-differentiation and chaos as a prelude to a new type of order. This symbol, beyond all present-day socio-political controversy, represents the activity of destructive or catabolic forces (one aspect of the Indian god Shiva) in answer to the type of confrontation suggested by the symbol for Leo 6°. The old order is confronted by the youthful drive for a new way of life and a new sense of values. As the old order refuses to yield its prerogatives, this refusal polarizes violent revolutionary action. The revolutionary may have beautiful dreams of a "classless" society free from greed and harsh struggles for survival, but the first practical result of his activity almost inevitably appears as "chaos." Yet chaos is a state of being that calls for a new descent of the power to reorganize and differentiate. Alas, such a descent most often is still based on old concepts, and one witnesses a struggle for personal and dictatorial power. This is the third stage of the twenty-sixth sequence of five phases, and ideally it could show how the vision of a cosmic order (stage two) might heal the potential conflict between an obsolete Establishment and its youthful challengers (stage one). But reality today presents a more cruel picture of CATABOLIC ACTION. Asc (+ chart-ruler):
Virgo 5 Sabian Symbol: A man lies dreaming in the shade of an Irish countryside; his dream brings to him the playful little people. Kozminsky Symbol: An artist working at a large piece of tapestry of charming design, which he has almost completed. Moon:
Scorpio 17 Sabian Symbol: A woman is great with child. The remarkable thing is that she was impregnated by her own spirit or aspiration. Kozminsky Symbol: A dagger with a jeweled hilt, stuck in a document. IP: Logged |

I am still confused. quote: How does one use the Sabian Symbols in astrology? When looking up the Symbol for a planet or placement in a chart, one must round up the degree to the next whole number i.e., if the planet is at 27.15 Pisces, you should read Pisces 28. This is because the zodiac starts at 00.00 Aries and the Symbols begin at Aries 1. So, even if the degree you're looking at is 27.00 Pisces, you would still read Pisces 28. Having said that, it should be emphasized that the Symbol for the degree before (i.e. Pisces 27) will shine a lot of light on the issue being investigated - the degree before indicates the 'karmic' issues of the planet or placement, a talent that's been brought through or an issue that needs to be worked out and possibly let go of. Think of the interpretations applied to the moon's south node as a guide to the degree before. The degree after (Pisces 29) is also very illuminating.

Oh I just meant if you're going to use the site on the first post because they number sabians from 1-30 instead of 0-29 which is how degrees are numbered. So if its the FIRST degree of Leo (aka 0 Leo), it's listed as 1 Leo. You listed your sabians correctly. IP: Logged |
