My Sun Cancer 8-9

A small naked girl bends over a sparkling pond trying to catch a fish

Moon Capricorn 8-9/Neptune

An angel comes carrying a harp

ASC Libra 12-13

Children blowing soap bubbles

These are interesting. What exactly do they mean? They make me seem so innocent!

What Sabian Symbols do you guy's have? http://www.sabiansymbols.com/article-detail.asp?id=1453

These are so fascinating...

I think this is extremely fitting for my I.C:

Capricorn 13-14

An ancient bas-relief carved in granite remains a witness to a long-forgotten culture

My bloodline is kind of illusive.

I love SAbian symbols.

I like yours.
BTW your Moon is conjunct my Venus, Isis and Osiris.

My Sun:
A Flag Bearer In A Battle

- I don`t see myself as strong as this symbols suggest though.

My Moon:
A Man's Secret Motives Are Being Publicly Unmasked

My ASC:
Within The Depths Of The Earth New Elements Are Being Formed

I found this site explaining them:
http://sabiansymbol.typepad.com/blain_bovee_sabian_symbol/2009/06/index.html

My SUN
Cancer 9: A tiny nude miss reaching in the water for a fish
The naked truth...

An ancient fable tells how Truth and Falsehood were bathing in a pool of water. Falsehood got out first and stool the clothes of Truth, leaving behind his own clothes. When Truth emerged from the pool, and seeing what had transpired, she went naked rather than wear the clothes of Falsehood.Nakedness brings a degree of shy innocence forward. It also suggests extremes of manner: extremely intense because of being naked; extreme naturalness because that is the truth of the matter.
The 9th degree cancer is one of the most fascinating of Sabian symbols. Individuals can experience the greatest extremes of being hooked by tension... the more you wrestle, the more you are caught.. and the most sublime flow and ease.

MY MOON/NEPTUNE: Angels and harpies...

When she is sweet, she is really sweet. When she is tense, she is rapacious.
Triangles have a role in Capricorn 9 and the corresponding Cancer symbol "A tiny nude miss reaching into the water for a fish". Think of the basic shape of the harp and an angel fish. A guitar pick or plectrum used for other stringed instruments applies as well. The Angel carrying a harp manifests most clearly when there is an issue of tension. Increase the tension and things can go really off tune quickly. Plus, an individual with an important placement here in Capricorn 9 may carry and project unnecessary tension for a long while. The secret lies in loosening the strings... not getting hooked on something that throws you out of tune.
It would be no surprise to find people who professionally tune stringed instruments here. The challenge is to bring energies and emotions into the right tension. Anything too extreme results in hard, harsh, and far too sharp manner.

MY ASC:

Libra 13: Children blowing soap bubbles
Frivolous... "Children blowing soap bubbles' can sound like fun, harmless play, merriment and frivolity. But then when something you are serious about in your life and in your horoscope lands in Libra 13.... now suddenly, there is complaint.
For example, a love affair gone for naught, a business deal that pops like a bubble, a speech that goes over like a lead balloon.
A most useful theme within Libra 13 has to do with exaggerations... especially of the emotional sort. Matters can easily be blown up and out of proportion, and then prove to be insubstantial. There is a high degree of power in the 13th degree series. In this case, you find that explosive matters that prove a dud is a good thing.

Diana:

Taurus 19: A newly formed continent
The story slowly emerges...

Or... if you are in a hurry, forget it.

The pace today is slow and patient. This is remarkable because the energy shifts dramatically tomorrow.

"A newly formed continent" does indicate the appearance or emergence of something long in coming. It also indicates 'coming together' in the way several pieces converge to form a single whole, or the way deep underlying pressures gradually push something to the surface.

Taurus 20 "Wind clouds and haste" is a quickening of energies.

May 8, 2009 is also a full Moon day. This lends support to the idea that by day's end, something will have come into fullness. One time-frame to consider is a two week or 15 day development. Go back 15 days. Check to see if something was started at that time. Is there any correlation with today's developments?

I have the same sun sabian as princess diana I think...

Thank you, Rasperri

NN
The light-bulb degree...

When entering a darkened and unfamiliar room, you can stumble on many unseen physical objects, until you find a light switch and illumine the new surroundings.

This seems to be the way Sagittarius 11 operates. Something emerges like an idea, a realization, an insight, shedding light on a matter. All 11th degree symbols point to illumination, coming into the light, sudden insights, rising into the light, and so on.

"The lamp of physical enlightenment" may suggest that physical and material realities may be involved with the illumination process. Perhaps your body 'tells' you something... "eat less peanut butter", or something. Perhaps a physical location becomes important for a meeting or a business discussion.

"The left temple' component of this symbol seems to inject pathos or emotion into this degree placement. It is not just an idea... a manifestation of mentality or cerebral detachment. It seems to combine enthusiasm, passion, emotion in general with an insight.

It'a also very intriguing to apply these to synastry aspects, i.e exact conjunctions.

YEs, I often do that. Look at the Sabians for exact conjunctions. Very telling.

My Draco Psyche is on 14 Gemini:

Gemini 14: A conversation by telepathy
Telepathic felt intimacy...

No surprise to find individuals with telepathic capabilities in this degree/symbol. But also, even while this degree is illuminated by the Sun, people may find that an extra-sensory sense is available.

Just imagine listening to a communication and suddenly getting a flash of understanding of what it is all about, what is really being said.

Quite handy is someone is trying to sell you a bill of goods. Really useful to see behind surface manipulations, marketing ploys, or just flat out dishonesty.

In a general way, everyone should pay more attention to their intuitive and 'ESP' abilities.

"I just knew you were going to say that!"

DD,

SUN

Sagittarius 8: Rocks and things forming therein
Inner resource...

Diamonds, oil, minerals and gems, all are formed by massive pressure deep within the earth. The correlate in human character and experience is a sense that riches lie within as opposed to immediate rewards of a specific kind.

Imagine having sought out a potential sudden reward... perhaps a trip to a casino. If things did not work out all that well, you might re-group to manage and protect your available resources.

This need not be a financial matter. You may find a rich resource in family, in friends, in a deep and sustainable arena of life experience that somehow is its own reward.

'Pressure' may be a viable theme in the application of Sagittarius 8. Think of pressure building inside... not necessarily in a stressful sense... pressure may be a building energy, unseen and deep within that senses the formation of good fortune.

^^^ DD, do you have a valuable resource?

ooops it wasnt 14 Gem it's 15 Gem
http://www.boveeastrology.com/newsletters/newsletter/6241299/64641.htm

Theme: Finding a common language.

Inspiration: A lively conversation can stir deep emotions: words shared can bring about a swell of deep feelings.

Today: Listen for communications that reveal more than originally intended.

Imagine someone chattering on about something when it suddenly becomes clear what it they are really conveying. The words could be about one thing, but the message is about another.

Watch for a strong swell of feelings triggered by conversation. There is more emotional force under the surface than one might think.

It is also possible to make more out of a communication than is realistic. For example, a romantic hint can launch a ship on a great wave that carries far.

Blain Bovee

This makes me think of all the times we SAY things to each other, it does stir DEEP emotions... kinda sweet

Lara,

your ASC makes me think of the movie 'Cold Mountain' when Jude Law captures the white dove in the church; it was a very important part of that movies touching storyline.

Sun in Scorpio 7°43'

A beautiful rooster flaps its wings near several hens which are pecking around while an archer shoots at a flock of birds.

"Proud, vigilant, and courageous character endowed with numerous talents. One's competences are put at the service of the affairs of the country, probably in the field of justice and diplomacy. Rewards come in the guise of fame, honours, and a rich marriage. However, one must not heed one's jealous instincts and must refrain from being unfaithful in love."

Moon in Capricorn 26°57'

A man walks at the edge of the forest towards a modest house surrounded by a vine stock.

"Withdrawn, enduring, and honest character. One revels in solitude and quiet activities such as reading and writing. Although one is very skilful in one's field of competence, one is unwilling to compete with others and contents oneself with a simple life devoid of conflicts."

Libra Ascendant 4°29'

As he tries to help a young woman climb a mountainous path, a man falls from the top of a rock into the lake which is further down.

"Reckless and undiscerning character lacking practical good sense. Relationships are not selected carefully enough, and confidence is granted too easily. The top of the rock symbolises a high social status, and the question is whether one is able to retain it or not. Females encountered in both the private and the professional spheres are most likely to be the cause of recurrent failures. Several marriages, including an illegal one, are possible. This degree warns against water and accidents in the mountain."
