Hi Friends
My question is about a site called Astrological Degrees and Fixed Stars.
I am freaked by my 9 degree Gemini Venus and the things it says about it.
It says it is a sign of homicide.
Check out the site.
My description was not even the WORST one of there.
Anyway, I would love to hear what some of the experienced people(or anyone) has to say.

Have just checked it and my Virgo 9 Degree Sun is "Body in the ditch" degree. Lol. The way the site is designed is creepy though. Have you noticed the devil's upside down pentagram? And the colours are black and red. They are just hyping it up!!

All of those fixed stars are pretty mainstream at this point. They were actually used by ancient astrologers, which is why they're so fatalistic.

Don't take the descriptions literally.

No, I said not to take them literally. I don't know much about vedic astrology, but I know that's also fatalistic, but I don't think current astrologers interpret vedic as literally as they used to..

So, if you have a planet at a fixed degree it just means it's highlighted.

It doesn't mean she will be a killer. It can mean various things. I think, for her, it is the tragedy and child abuse (moon/venus = mother) that happened to her being reflected in these fixed degrees.

Fixed degrees usually do signify something. But you can't take them literally as interpreted in the descriptions. I have quite a few myself, and they are points in my chart that do show where I have had bad things happen.

Many astrologers today still use the fixed stars. That site isn't the best one. It only shows a few of them. There are a ton.

Astrology on the web has a good one.

IMO, fixed stars are way more accurate than sabians.

None of this is any kind of "magic." Just because you don't like the negative descriptions of certain degrees doesn't mean it's evil. Bad things do happen and astrology does provide explanations.

Fixed stars shouldn't be used by novice astrologers, because you really need to know how the planets and aspects operate before going to them, otherwise it will just be fear experienced, because they'll take the FS's literally.

The world isn't all light and fairies.

When I was younger I had issues with my parents. I left home at 15 but I've reconciled my past with them and now we're very close.
As far as the home situation, that's another issue. I have never been able to be stable when it comes to my living situation or having a home.
