Gypsee Everyone should experience Scorpio passion at least once before they leave this earth LOL [Quote from Gypsee --- I was joking around. I never date Libra men. Even though my Mars and Moon is in Libra. I notice that they have something IN libra usually, but NOT their sun. My seventh house has Scorpio in Nept/Merc, and, yep, I love them!! And if they don't have a Scorp Sun, they have either the Moon or Asc there. My SNode is in Scorpio, I should be moving on, I suppose, but it's an addiction.] IP: Logged |

My descendant is in Libra, and I DO consider a guy who is outgoing and talkative, funny!! charming (in a genuine way), romantic etc to be the ideal guy THAT bc I have three major planets in libra, I want the communication in a relationship, I think that's the most important part, but bc there's some other aspects, I want the strong type (who fights for what he believes in, never say die attitude) and the soft heart inside. Taurus DC here I've never really liked Taurus men. I think that they are too pushy, stubborn, sometimes even rigid, and-lazy But strangely they seem to like me-whenever someone asks me out, I can be sure that he is a Taurus:P I seem to attract them somehow. Although, my Moon is conjuncting my DC so maybe it has to do something with it. IP: Logged |

The theory sounds spot on to me - I have a Cap desc but it's very late Cap and mostly spans Aqua. I've had several Aqua relationships and in reality sadly, I find the airy coolness a little too cold for my rather watery/earthy make up but what I have learned from and obviously needed, is their talent for detaching and analysing things in a very calm, cool manner. I tend to get too emotional about things so from that perspective their energy has been great to balance.IP: Logged |

I think the planets in the 7th too, as well as aspects TO the 7th house ruler say more about relationship needs. But I'm also of the mind that the 7th house stuff is what we tend to project onto others. Not so sure about us 'needing' it. It may just be the 'hook' which snags us and forces us to look within IP: Logged |

I've got Scorpio on my 7th house cusp, with my Venus conjunct it, as well as Neptune in there. But I don't have relationships with Pisces or Scorpios usually. I don't think it's that literal. My ex had Pluto in his 7th along with Venus square Pluto exact in his chart. He was also a Pisces rising. I generally give a lot to the point of sacrifice in my relationships. My current boyfriend also has Scorpio on his dsc and Neptune in his 7th like me and seems pretty attuned to my needs. IP: Logged |

My DC is Leo- and I've noticed most men I'm incredibly attracted to either have their Sun, Ascendant or Mars in that sign.I like my partner to have strong character, self-confidence, generous and noble heart. Intelligence is a must as well (mercury conj DC) IP: Logged |

Hi Ami I'm Sagittarius Descendant. I have no Earth sign planets and I don't think I have any Taurus, Capricorn, or Virgo friends either You mentioned needing some Earth because you have so much Air and Water. Having no planets there, I would think (for me) an Earth sign would probably confuse more than compliment. Does anyone here have a partner who's element doesn't show in their chart? I have ... Fire - Sun, Mercury, Neptune Water - Venus, Jupiter Air - Moon, Mars, Saturn, Pluto, Uranus I do have some Earth here though - IC in Virgo (22.51), BML in Capricorn (28.03), Amor in Taurus (24.05) IP: Logged |

. I'd considered myself pretty structured with my Cap Rising. I do make plans and stick to them, while leaving the flexablity in case things go wrong to alter plans slightly so it can work. With that said my Descendent is in Cancer, althought I whould never want to be with a Cancer. I do appreciate water signs, especially with the warmth and sensetivity they can bring at times. Vary important for an Air Sign to grasp at times and remeber that were all human, as such have good days/good moods and bad moods/bad days. ------------------------ Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini IP: Logged |

Why whould I be offended? Geminis are suppose to be flexable?.Its funny you say that because I think I made mentioned that I know a freind of mine thats a Aqua sun, Sag Rissing, Tarus Moon and Its ironic beause I'm always pushing things to be on time. Even today it was her idea to go to an art show, the ideas and her keep on gowing. I can think, talk and have ideas but alot of it stays to myself most of the time. ------------------------ Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini IP: Logged |

Hey Spool, how's the weather in Canada right now ? Seriously though...it is interesting because I have noticed people missing an element in their chart (in the sign, not the house) seem to display the missing element more. Kind of like the energies of the T-square get expressed. Current boyfriend has no water in his chart and yet is highly emotional. Is it that I put my sun in his 4th as well ? Maybe it's his Sun/Moon mp in Pisces, along with his Venus/Mars mp.
As for the parents, I would associate them more with the sign on the IC/MC. My father is a Cap, like my MC. But my mother's moon is in Cap too. However HER DC is in Leo, which is the intercepted IC in my chart (with Cancer). IP: Logged |

hmm.. i have no idea about that (in my case they are not). though my mom's sun sign is my AC sign. my dad's sun and my SN line up, and his moon's cancer while my moon's placed in the 4th. i think the luminaries and the angles frequently line up with those of our parents, but i'm not sure how often that occurs.IP: Logged |

Fire grounds me in a different way. It gives me back to myself--in some way--and helps me to ground myself. All my prior relationships except one were with strong earth men. I clung to their earth but never was able to get my own. Now, a strong fire sign with no earth is helping me find my own grounding. I don't know how--really. Maybe, it is other parts of the chart like aspecting my unaspected Venus. That might be it. Ami ============================================ IP: Logged |

Ami, I have Aquarius DSC, I don't feel like I need anything from that sign/energy.What I do WANT however, is room to breathe. My Sun square Uranus rules my ASC/DSC axis and it's situated in the 5th/8th houses of dating/intimacy. Ideally, I wouldn't have to live with my husband, he would live either next door or a few houses down. That way we could keep the 'dating' element alive in the relationship and be able to breathe in our lil cozy habitats and then get together again whenever we felt like it. That seems Uranian to me. Plus I don't ever want to share a refrigerator. Ever. My Mercury is conj the DSC in Aquarius opposed my Leo rising, and I always mentally check myself when my Leo's starting to get out of control, thank God. If I didn't have Mercury there it would be..not pretty. Well, honestly, I can't always put the reins on her, but at least when she comes out I know that she's overreacting. IP: Logged |

I think we may need or want the "energy" of the DESC or 5th house in our love life (depending on aspects to the ruler, too, of course), but not necessarily people of the same sign.I never fall for Gemini (my DESC-sign) or Taurus (my 5th house sign), but I need communication, intellectual stimulation as well as warmth, stability and sensuality. i have aquarius in the 7th house or descendant. it may help explain why i attract the men that i do and why i prefer the kinds of men that i attract. i do prefer the more aloof and detached quiet types. but i see the people i attract to be similar to myself. i like to keep my emotions contained or hidden and am not comfortable with touchy feely emotions or being emotional outwardly. as well, someone who is intellectual is very attractive to me. i read that this position makes me attract odd types or have an unconventional partnership. i guess so. i'm not comfortable with relationships in general and would prefer a more friendship based relationship. hard to explain but i even get a bit worried that when i get married i'll have to share a room and one bed with my husband. it's like who invented that rule? a bed is made for 1 person even if it's king sized. i don't know...i just need someone who is a bit aloof, highly intellectual and okay with being friends or be not so emotional and touchy feely.IP: Logged |

I have scorpio on my DC. Scorpio is not for me. I don't like the men. I had a thing with one, and frankly, he was the worst lover I ever had. Terrible. I'm talking sexually retarded. I think scorpio's sexual rep is overrated and unjustified, except for the fact that a good number of them tend to be deviant and perverted. I'm talking about the men here. I know I'll get a lot of flack for this, but I'm just being honest.

Diana - I've got a Taurus DC, and it's usually a love/hate thing with me and Taurus people. I think the reason for this is due to being opposites, while also being complementary. I've never been with a Taurus guy, and those few that I've known have always unnerved me a bit with their fear of not having enough material things, which they expressed by being flashy; over-compensating in ways that put me off. BUT, I admire Taurus when that fear is turned into a gentle, calm desire for stability because I really crave stability from a partner. IP: Logged |

I can't stand the bad rep about Scorpio whether it's being the controller, the abusive, the deviant, perverted I am more than just a Scorpio with all my Scorpio planets being modified by aspects to Saturn and transneptunian objects. My Mercury,Venus are parallel Neptune. I guess that I could be considered sexually retarded too just like I used to be considered retarded period.
The coordination/sensory integration issues of my Dyspraxia effects my ability to have sex. hypersensitivity and coordination problems (sexual intercourse requires coordination) makes me anxious about sex. I think that I'd be more happy with a neurodivergent woman. btw my Sun in Scorpio is in the constellation of Virgo Raymond ------------------ "Nothing matters absolutely; the truth is it only matters relatively" - Eckhart Tolle IP: Logged |
