Well, you just gave the best description of that aspect, I have ever come across!

It`s similiar to Venus-Mars, but on a more "refined" level; it reaches deep down into your soul and spirit.
It brings together heaven (Eros was a God) and Earth (Psyche was a mortal).

Read up the myth, and you will understand instantly what Eros-Psyche is about.

I only know of one person I ever had a Eros-Psyche conjunction with (aside from celebrities I'll never meet), and I was the Eros and he was the Psyche. Plus, since I have Eros conjunct Sun, his psyche was conjunct my Sun too. This was long before I knew anything about astrology. He was a friend in high school and we were great friends from the first day of our freshman year. However, I never saw him as anything more than a friend. Then our senior year, he asked me to go with him to the prom. I was quite surprised. All my friends were like "He's been following you around like a puppy dog since freshman! Didn't you know he likes you?" Well, no, I didn't! I went to the prom with him as a friend but not a date, because I didn't see him that way. We stayed friends until we lost contact during college. But I just never felt anything romantic or erotic towards, ever.

Me (female): Eros in Scorpio, Psyche in Libra.

Him: Eros in Pisces, Psyche in Scorpio.

we have Eros and Psyche conjunct and Eros trine Eros (1).

For the Original Post, as DD said, you've described it well, but I can't say much in how it manifests since I've not seen it in action.

OH GOD, I’M SO IN LOVE!
Let’s be quite clear about this one. It so often kicks off when one or both of the lovers are otherwise involved. Or, for some reason the entire thing is utterly impossible. They meet, sense the heat and feel the fear. Each falls insanely in love and decides to ride it out like a kind of exotic flu. They frequently come across one another when every little thing goes against their romance. There is an initial encounter or two and then nothing.
