what would be good for figuring out why, one seems to just detest the living daylight out of their parents?

I get along with my parents just fine, but my older sister and I cannot stand each other. There's 10 year age difference. Would the fourth house still apply?

Sagittarius is in my fourth house.
Fourth house ruler is in my 12th squaring Pluto.

Scorpios in her first house.
Uranus is the only planet there and it opposes her Venus to the exact degree.
Fourth house ruler is in the third but is completely unaspected.

Anicia, maybe 3rd house for siblings. 3rd house ruler as well.

I'd also look at moon sq sun for possible 'dislike'...but then I think we all kinda dislike our parents to an extent. It's more rare to see people who are nutso-happy about their parents. Those aspects would be even more rare LOL

i luv my mom but we argue A LOT on a daily basis.
reasons : hygiene, her nagging & over protective behavior that i find restrictive.
she's a cleanliness freak & my virgo moon's aim is to become a perfect slob.

her saturn conjuncts my sun/mars/venus.
venus rules my 4H.

her draconic saturn opposes my natal unaspected jupiter.

our composite saturn conjuncts my uranus/neptune.

Anicia, siblings would be a third house thing.. though family and the father are represented by the fourth house (the mother by the tenth), the third has got siblings. think of it this way, the father (leo-sun) and the mother (cancer-moon) are side by side.

on both sides, they have mercury.. one the father's side, there are the helpers.

on the mother's side, there are the rest of her rowdy kids.

and as the 3rd rules siblings (as does mercury) the ninth are the in-laws.

the 10 yr different might be meaningful. it'd be something to do with saturn, i'd think. maybe some inconjunctions between both saturn's natally in both of their charts. try looking at that maybe.

depth- it'd kinda make sense that you guys dont get along saturn over your mars in already annoying enough.

personally, i think that it's also a plutonic thing since the majority of the young-adult/adult generation has a parent who birthed them somewhere along their 30's which would give one sort of a pluto square pluto in their synastry.. kind of makes you think of why it is that you always got along better with your grandparents.. hahaha

Duke I think I could be a text book example of parental "dislike". That's a rather weak word in my case.

Saturn is in 4th/Cancer & Moon is in Sag/10th almost in Capricorn lol. Not playing happy families in my house rofl.

OY! I can seriously show you two charts of men that are happy, happy joy joy about their families.

Which is why I've left them both. I can't stand it!!

I actually was thinking of starting a dating website for people who are "unparented" for whatever reason, because in-laws (at least mine) are just...oh, I can't even form a semi-decent thought!!!

I love my parents from AFAR. They are very beautiful in photos. lol. Linda said the average Sag sun leaves home at 13, and she was right, I was 13.
This is where the 4th H stuff confuses me, because I have Leo in Jupiter there. I should be happy about my family, shouldn't I?? OH, it IS RX though.

My chart embodies this. Retrograde Saturn in the detrimental sign of Cancer conjunct my ascendent, square Pluto in my 4th house.
Came down to this one on sheer base alone - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJgFU3U4X_Y

whoa~!all the charts! awesome!!!!

first off, spanky, it appears as if you've got uh three yod looking things in your chart... even a pentagram out of them along with a pentagon.. i dont know why i always look for shapes in charts.. haven't found all of them to be significant but maybe it helps you figure something out.. idk.. secondly, have you tried to delve further into the family thing? with the depositor of your fourth house in the opposite sign, conjunct your north node, i think it's probably something your life is closely tied to.. mutual reception not by sign but by house..

Funny that you are the only person to ever mention the shapes, especially the pentagram.

The pentagram I've always wondered about that. Idk if I should be disturbed by it or not, lol. I am yet to come across a chart that has it without having to add asteroids or hypotheticals.

What was prominent in growing up years? Capricorn surrounding me at every turn & oh were they twisted relationships. Cappy women I despised at first sight & it was MUTUAL, oi.

The Capricorn experience reached a climax when my son was born. I think the Universe was miffed & determined to see me like at least one of them

im not sure what to make of the pentagram.. nor the pentagon.. there are configurations that have meaning such as the kites, grand trines, grand crosses and many others.. jack nicholson has the star of david in his chart which i thought was kinda cool.. i pulled up a chart for the new york stock exchange and they have that in their chart as well.. anywho, u can try looking into the meaning of pentagrams and seeing what they are capable of doing (if you're into the hidden meaning of things) and possibly use the good in that? it's normally associated with evil but i've gone to a hare krishna temple and i saw that star engraved in the middle of the temple, in marble, on the floor and didnt know how to make heads or tails out of it..

usually, north node relationships are supposed to be fruitful but i have no idea what to consider in your case because you have some type of yod thing thats pointing right at your south node and saturn..

inconjunctions are usually difficult to well, i actually dont know, but, the inconjunction, if one were to trace it with a pen, is the only aspect that will connect each sign of the zodiac without lifting a finger. idk.. maybe thats something that'll help u out.

since saturn rules the father, and yours is in cancer along with your south node and that inconjunction, what has your relationship with him been like? im losing my train of thought just trying to wrap my mind around it.. man!

You know I was just thinking last night that I should look way beyond the Christianity version of the meaning & seeing as you've found it in a Hare Krishna Temple of all places is encouraging.

Now onto the father issues...

What can I say? Biological dad (I was born on his 19th B'day) wasn't around after the age of 3. The marriage didn't work out & mum took off around the country with another guy. Don't spit your chips here but the guy was a Capricorn & the bane of my existence.

From what I understand from pictures & stories from my mum, dad & I were inseparable & I was the proverbial 'daddy's girl' & I took the separation hard.

After growing up & having a child of my own I still don't get them, lol. I guess it was a different era.

The whole father BS has scarred me beyond comprehension & it still has an effect on my relationships with men today. Funny thing I noticed is that I attract Cancer men like a beacon, lol. Saturn has more sway over my love life than Venus or the Moon would like.
