LOL I can't! He's not around anymore, and all it would take is for us to see each other again, I'm not really worried. It doesn't have to do with his feelings for me. How is he now in both threads? DAMN YOU LIBRA! ------------------ ~Believe~ IP: Logged |

Lol I also have Sag ASC with Mars-Neptune conjunction on the ASC, and Cappy Venus in 1st house, but I surely am not irresistible.so whatever makes you irresistible, is probably being found in other constellations. Anyway I think people are only irresistible in connection to other people. But it is not a basic character trait itself. Of course some people appear irresistible to more other people than the average. BTW you don`t have Venus conjunct Neptune, unless you allow really astronomically big orbs. IP: Logged |

Well, I just see you have the ruler of the 2nd and 5th house conjunct in 2nd house. Ruler of your 5th house is also in 2nd house.I once read the interpretation of "the sexy 85th house) body (2nd house)" for it. You can substitute "sexy" with everything that fits the 5th house though. IP: Logged |

5th house is "sex" (or attractive, joyful, pleasant, creative, dramatic and so on; just think Leo, Sun, warm, radiant, playful, theatrical, creation -procreation included- falling in love, this sizzling feeling of love at first sight, that feeling of being alive - THAT is 5th house, along with all the other symbolisms, it is the house of selfexpression, and well, yes sex is one very delicious form of expression of self and joy).2nd house is the body - yes I know many say 1st house is the body, and I agree, but the 2nd house is there as well. I am not completely sure about the difference. But maybe the 1st house is more about the instinctive, spontaneious, reactive side of the physical (like Mars/(Aries would be) - if something touches your 1st house, you react instinctively, immediately, almost unconsciously, you can`t help but reacting, and then it`s gone. The 2nd house would point to the substance of the body, that lasts (I know what I am talking about, I have Moon in 2nd house, and every piece of chocolate lasts FOREVER); I think it is more in a Venus/Taurus way though, slowly, but lasting, substantial. The transpersonal astrology in Germany differentiates it - I think - like this: The 1st house is the physical reaction, while the 2nd house describes the body you have. Also, 2nd house is the polar compliment to 8th house - it is the "sex-axis" (and the obsessions-axis, too - my words, but just look at Johnny Depp`s, Robert Downey Jr`s and Robbie Williams charts and you will know what I mean!). Other people would say, the 8th is the house when a relationship becomes deeper, more committed - so in my simplistic Sagittarian`s mind that means: sex - not the playful, 5th house kind of sex though; there is a reason the French call the orgasm "la morte petite" (I don`t know french, so if I misspelled it, I am sorry): little death.
Anyway I disgress, like so often. 8th house is on the half of the chart where we are confronted with an "Other", a partner or enemy or friend or coworker; so 8th house is sex in a relationship oriented sense, or with other words: What you expect from it in a relationship, from a partner? How would your sexual partner be - so you can project all your little dirty 8th house secrets onto him? The 2nd house is below the horizon, in the personal half, where we haven`t yet met another person (the other comes into play at the DESC -t hat is the other`s birth, just as ASC signifies our own birth); so it is all about you - and projections becomes a little less likely - even though exceptions do exist of course. 2nd house would show how YOU bring yourself into a sexual relationship, and what is needed for a sexual relationship? (There are many things needed, at least in my case, of course, but one thing is pretty basic). And that basic thing is the body and your senses (2nd house is very much about the senses, smelling, tasting, touching). Combine 2nd and 5th house and you get a very sensual, physical (2nd house) expression of your Self (5th), often in a sexual context (5th house). At least some people seem to radiate that, even though they may not get active in this regard.
Hmm, put the 8th and maybe 10th house into the mix, and you get a worldwide adored and desired sex-symbol probably. lol I think Elvis Presley had a line up of 2nd, 5th and 8th house, and JFK had at least the 5th-8th house connection as well. IP: Logged |

I have no earth. In synastry, his Sun, Mercury and Venus are in my second house. My " place on the earth" feels stronger in the way you describe the 2nd house. The 2nd house could be a grounding for the body in the physical world just as possessions allow you to be grounded in the world i.e money, houses etc. I read that the 2nd house is self esteem ,too, cuz it is a possession in the sense that you need it in order to be grounded and earth bound. Crazy Aquarian (isn`t that a "tautology"? Areīt Aquas always crazy? ),"Are you doubting my sexiness??" How could I? With that interconnection between 5th and 2nd house and I see even your 10th house and 8th house are part of the pattern. Ruler of 5th house conjunct ruler of 2nd house in 2nd house; ruler of 5th and 10th are the same, so ruler of 10th house is also conjunct ruler of 2nd house (I heard several models have a line up of 2nd and 10th house especially in regard to Venus). Plus ruler of 8th house sextiles your conjunction of rulers of 5th, 10th and 2nd house. In Scorpio! Even though in the 12th house - no possibility to hide though. IP: Logged |

Ami,I`m really glad you can relate to my interpretation; cause the way I interprete 2nd house may differ a bit from the approach other astrologers have. I just always felt the "finances" approach didn`t do the 2nd house symbolism justice, or covered just a part. It`s interesting, we interprete the 2nd house in term of material posession (what we own, our riches, money, rere estate) and mental posession (our values), but somehow forget one of the most basic parts, the physical posession (our body). In a way I think the fixed houses may add a nuance of "conscious experience" to the theme of the quadrant. Like in the 1st house we of course have the body and others see it very clearly, but maybe we donīt even see it ourselves. And in the 2nd house we gain awareness of our body, we start "owning" it. Just a thought. Also one more thing, I think synastric 2nd house overlay can also signify the need or wish to be physically close to someone, as if you need to know they are there, and can achieve that innerknowledge through physical touch. So touching and hugging would be a big part of it, too. That kind of physical contact can give some security. The other is there, present. There is something earthy, grounded about it, arriving in ones physical form, realizing that one doesn`t only have a heart (5th house), mind (3rd house) and soul (4th house), but a body as well. Dear DD Liz Green said the 2nd house was self esteem, as well as material possessions. For me, I could sum up second house as owning the piece of real estate on this earth which you are given : all parts of yourself.

I wanted to add something about synastry. His sun, Venus and Mercury are in my second house. My Scorpio Ascendent says that my life will force me to transform. I don't know if everyone feels that. As a child, I had a suvival mentality. I shut down the things that make you a person :your feelings, your connection to your inner self. Now, after life circumstances have lifted me like a tidal wave and dropped me to the shore, I must transform. It is second house as you describe it, DD. With synastry and his sun(essential self), Mercury(mind) and Venus(love) in my second house, I am reconnecting to myself. If you ask me "How"--I don't know. It is wordless. Somehow wordless connections are knitting me back home---to myself. Ami
My Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury are in his 12th house. Perhaps, I am "forcing" him to go in to his unconscious as he is "forcing" me to reclaim my own real estate. What do you think?

Amy, yes that makes sense to me. He anchors you to the ground, to your physical (real estate) being, while you open up a path for him into his subconscious. Quite complementary. nice. Crazy Aquarian,
yeah, I know what you are talking about. I have Sag rising myself (with big stellium in Sag 1st house) and Moon in Aquarius. I LOVE craziness. And I ADORE that icon you used. IP: Logged |

Odd... they say Scorpio rising is very magnetic. But people think I'm magnetic. I honestly, like you, attract men like no tomorrow. Same story as yours. I have a best friend still offering if my boyfriend ever leaves me, he'll jump in without any hesitation.Actually, make that two. Men all around think it should be their life goal to protect and defend my poor little self, and almost wait on me hand and foot. Except the guys I actually go out with. They often just take me for granted. I don't always like it, though. I just want to be friends with men without them drooling over me figuratively. Just be seen for the person that I am, not some little magnet they are attracted to. Honestly. I do. It's kind of hard to deal with when you don't think you're beautiful at all and just want to be seen as one of the guys. Anyway... coming to my point: I have Sagittarius rising too. Granted, I have Scorpio sun, but like your moon it's pretty much hidden away in the 12th house. Well, it's on the cusp of 11th/12th... like your moon. I also have Mars in Capricorn. Apart from those, our charts don't have any similarities. So my opinion? It might be the Capricorn Mars, which can be pretty heavy, or the Sagittarius rising. All I know is that I have exactly the same problem and it's quite frustrating!
Well, maybe not always. I got a lot done by being "irresistible". Hey, if you can't beat it... use it to your advantage ------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! IP: Logged |

No Leo whatsoever. Ijust compared our charts based on experiences which are similar and theoretically something should match in our charts to make us experience similar event.Obviously we don't lead exactly the same life but hey When you find similarities between the charts of two people who experience the same things, those similarities are probably the culprits ------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! I see lots of things that probably contribute to this...Uranus in the 1st (you appear different/exciting) Mars conjunct Uranus Mars conjunct Neptune (charisma) Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio (a bit of sex appeal maybe) Chiron in the 7th (I've read that makes one very charismatic as well) I have Uranus in the 1st and Chiron in the 7th so thats why I read about those. But Neptune in the 1st normally adds a charisma, mystique to that person. I'm no 'resident astrologer' here by the way, thats just my intuition at first glance at the chart. ------------------ Leo with Scorpio Rising & Moon in Taurus. IP: Logged |

I really don't think it's unusual at all. You're young - Are these guys around your age?A lot of guys will be attracted to you, even if you are "just friends". It doesn't have to be your chart. If you are average to good looking and have a fun personality -- I mean... Why are you so surprised? lol IP: Logged | |
