"Glaucus

Vedic for me is a bit unknown,i guess it is complicaded when we are used to use the Wetern one.Which one fo you feel more accurate to you?"

I prefer Western Astrology. I can't say if either one is more accurate. That would be something to say based on subjectivity. I believe that a lot of Astrology is subjective. I was born and raised in a Western culture. I am a very liberal person overall, and so Vedic Astrology doesn't fit with me. It's based on a very conservative religion and culture. Of course, 20th Century Astrology doesn't fit with me either. I feel that it's an incomplete system for somebody that is strong in 21st Century solar system objects. An astrologer will only see parts of me but not my whole entire self when seeing me with a 20th Century lense. Even when I explored myself through the 20th Century Astrology, I still felt that there were missing pieces. It was only until the 21st Century objects were found and I kept finding them in significant placement in my chart, I learned more and more about myself. It took the end of 2008 to realize my life purpose confirmed by 2 separate readers in January 2009 and November 2009. The latter really drove it home and got me receptive to Doreen Virtue's angel stuff which inspired me to be a lacto ovo vegetarian and use the Metatron cube as part of my neurodiversity logo. It was on September 17, 2008 that transneptunian dwarf planet,Haumea's name was announced to the world. That object conjuncts/oppose my Ascendant/Descendant axis with 2'10 orb and square my Midheaven/Imum Coeli axis with 3 minutes of arc. I was born with Haumea Rising. Transiting Saturn conjunct/oppose my Ascendant/Descendant axis with 10 minutes of arc applying and transiting Jupiter trine/sextile the Ascendant/Descendant axis less than 50 minutes of arc applying on the day the name was released signifying a new conscious awareness of the Haumea archetypal energy showed a new found awareness of myself. Over 2 years, I knew that this object was strong in my chart. I couldn't wait for it to be named. I felt that knowing its name would help me understand myself more. I was very happy and relieved to finally know its name.

Hi

I hope it's okay to post parts of a thread from another site. If not, let me know and I'll delete this

This is part of the post that I'd seen re: 5th and 7th harmonics showing skills and talent.
The thread is about MUSICAL talent in the chart but this part (posted by Lunar Pisces) might be of help ...

'Where is your Pallas? Pallas is often a good indicator of skills.

Check out your 5th harmonics (skills) and 7th harmonics (talent).

In particular:
Quintiles (72 degrees) and Biquintiles (144 degress) these 5th harmonics aspects may indicate natural skills or ease of learning. These would be espeically significant re: music talent if they involved Neptune, Venus, moon, Pluto or Mercury. Deciles (36 degrees) may count too, but are to Quintiles as sextiles are to trines: same idea, just not as strong.

Septiles (51-52 degrees) and Biseptiles (102-103 degrees): these 7th harmonic aspects may indiacte natrual talent or intution, perhaps a "preknowledge" that comes to the surface from the subconscious. Look for the same planets re: musical talent.

Also look for those apsect with Pallas, or other significant asteriods in your chart.'

Another post in the thread (posted by Kite) ...

'Based on the little I know about harmonic charts (I'm learning right now), it would seem to me that the 5th harmonic would show how one expresses their talents as the 5th house would show but on the micro level.
I would look at the 2nd harmonics chart (micro of 2nd house) to assess what talents/resources are being held. The 10th seems to show how they might be publicly viewed.
I might also want to look at some sabian readings for the harmonic chart's sun and North Node to get a flavor.'

Everyone here knows SOOO much more than me.
I'm still learning and google-ing a whole lot. It's how I found this site, and the little info I do have lol

I don't know how to read Harmonic charts, maybe if you posted yours someone who does could help?

I don't think Harmonic charts have houses but Persona charts do.

Could reading the career one (Saturn) in the same way 'Ruler of 1st House in ... ' show more about the career?
