If someone lacks much water in their chart, that doesn't mean they aren't emotional right? Because oh he is. Does it just not give them understanding of other's emotions? Or an intuitive push to follow your heart? ------------------

Im all fire. I only have Venus in Cancer. In my 4th house. Thats my only water.No Earth at all. Saturn,Uranus,Pluto in Air
Everything else is fire.. Im EXTREMLY emotional. only all my fire hides it well... I never let anyone see me in my emotional state. Look at his Pluto does that have hard aspect to his water, if so would give obsession, and intense feelings. Trust me its there.. He just hides it well....

Oh I know he is emotional, he admits it, not to everyone, but he cries easily and stuff.He has pluto in scorpio....I'll have to check on aspects but....OH he has lots of aspects to his moon, maybe that makes things very tough for him?.....I'm gonna check...... IP: Logged |

pluto counts.if it's the only thing in water then it's called a singleton, and will be v.strong, it's aspects/placement v.important. IP: Logged |

oh wait. is pluto in scorpio? then it's domicile. it's a force unto itself. ahh, it's aspects don't say too much....no way to get the time? now it's important to know what house it rules and what house it's located.but if he's a pluto in scorpio singleton then he's a hotbed of emotion -just- below the surface, but could possibly play it off on the surface, as it seems like many of the pluto in scorpio generation does. Six planets in fire, 1 in earth,3 in air, no water, but Asc in Cancer I am very emotional person, I hate that I cry a lot, I am not a moody person, but sometimes I can feel the pain from other people.IP: Logged |

Neptune is dissolution Moon-Neptune indicates dissolution of emotional boundaries, extremely sensitive feelings it has affinity with Moon in Pisces
hard aspects to the Moon can indicate a highly emotional person.
Neptune hard aspects to the Moon can indicate a person that can too emotional,too sensitive
I have both Moon in Pisces and Moon square Neptune with 1'23 orb. So I know how it feels.

Fire is usually more outwardly demonstrative with their emotions. You usually know when you have hurt their feelings. They are typically quick to forgive though, which is a lovely trait. Ultimately, a healthy expression of emotions is what is important to one's personal well being. Water and Earth can have a tendency to stuff down the emotions thus creating inner turmoil.IP: Logged |

Is the Ascendent strong enough to do that? I am surprised cuz I thought the Ascendant was not as strong as the planets.
Obviously, you have a very strong water part to you as you describe yourself.
For me, my Scorpio Ascendant is fortified by Cancer moon and Mars so it is hard to tell what is from the Ascendant and what is from the other planets.
I appreciate your insight on this!

Ami, I have no planets in a fire sign in my natal. I have a Leo daughter w/ a Leo Moon, Mars in Leo, & Jup. in Leo who shall I say teaches me much about the expression of fire.IP: Logged |

Isn't the chart ruler based on the Ascendent though? And when I was looking on a website to find out which mattered most to see how strong each element was in my chart, they gave a number system and sun, moon, and asc counted as 4. I don't know I always heard Asc was one of the important ones.------------------

I believe that Midheaven is also overlooked as important by mainstream western astrologers. Cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers view it as the individual self, the "I", soul, and ego consciousness The Cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers don't use house systems, and so they don't view the Midheaven as the 10th house cusp like astrologers that use house systems other than whole sign house system and equal house system. ------------------

My chart ruler Moon is in Sag, so Sun, and Moon in fire, I don't go to see sad movies because they make me cry, if I see an animal in the street that is lost I pick it up and try to look for the owner I put signs up or try to find a home for it, I do some voluntering at a senior center, for me animals, seniors and kids touch my heart, sometimes I look at flowers and I feel the tears in my eyes, when I was younger I was very shy, I think my Cancer Asc is very strong, I love to be in the house, I am a very good cook and love to decorate the funny part is that my furniture is white and I have lots of red like red pillows, red baskets, pictures with red frames, red nicknacks I guess because my three planets in Aries, Sun, Venus and Mars. When I am sad I cry a lot, I get along very well with people specially women and kids I guess Venus conjuct Sun same degrees trine Moon exact, I don't have anything betweet Moon and Neptune or Venus Neptune, my MC is fire also I am a very demostrative person I like to touch, but when I get mad I really do, sometimes I feel like breaking things, but I don't do it, most of the time I go for a drive put the music very loud and scream my head off after that I am Ok.
