belgz, you are almost exactly the same age as my daughter (she is aries) ... i have watched that saturn/pluto conjunction through her life, and many of her friends obviously have it too, or schoolmates anyway.

i think it makes for VERY strong people, unwilling to be pushed even in the nicest possible way, but everything has to be their own making!! also it does seem to indicate a kind of crucible-type life, strength created by the crisis and pressure that such a determined character is bound to run up against throughout life...especially hard for the little ones but as you get older, it makes a powerhouse human being. careful to use it for the good or it may also kill you!!

it also can make it very difficult for your mother, who is in the habit of mothering you, as you grow up and throw off the parental chains...my daughter was very persistent in staking out her own territory at one point ... we really have not had a lot of problems but i have had to learn and so has she, how to treat each other in different ways through different ages.

as her dad said a few years ago "if she makes it to 30 she is going to be one formidable woman..." well she is getting there!!

p.s i think most mother-daughter relationships go through phases. my own mother with whom i was generally close, became impossible when i had a child...it took 10 years before i unilaterally decided to have a good relationship with her again...it worked like a charm!! and i am so glad i didn't have all that nasty energy still going on with her in the last few years of her life.

Thanks, Ami Ann

I think the strained mother/daughter relationship is a common thing for females with a strong cancer influence.
Not all Cancer females, of course..but it seems like a common theme xx

I have been thinking about Chiron
My mothers' Sun is ON my Chiron(exact degree).
I am thinking that who has the Chiron and who has the other planet is important and may show the story .
She reversed roles with me.
She wanted ME to take care of her i.e. heal her.
She was furious when I could not and punished me.
I think this is how the aspect worked in my chart.
I think perhaps ,it is literal in who is the healer and even what PART of the person is being healed.
With my friend,Her Chiron is on her Venus and she is helping to heal me.
