We have the worst relationship in the world but yet we have all the nice trines and conjunctions in all the right places.

So how can 2 people seem so compatible but be from 2 different worlds. Do you have any examples of your own? I don't think synastry and astrology always tells the full story.

Her Mercury exact on your Chiron:
Her words are wounding you; also in your 8th house - leaving a deep impression.
Mercury rules 12th and 3rd house - maybe she is not even aware of how deep she can hurt you.

Her Uranus conjunct your Venus in your 12th house, with Venus ruling your intercepted 1st house.
She is unsettling you, even though maybe it is not easily "graspable" in your 12th house, but it surely has big influence on your view on yourself (Venus rules your 1st house). Uranus rules her 8th house - so maybe she tried to pose her principles (8th house) onto your, even tried to manipulate you emotionally, but did so in unpredictable, erratic ways (uranus).

Her Sun squaring your ASC-DESC - great difference in personality / temperament.
Her Sun on your NN and Moon shows that this is of course a significant relationship but the opposition to Neptune brings a lot of misunderstandings, confusion and elusive behaviour into it. You probably don`t "get" each other.
Maybe she feels like you close her out, avoid her or sees you as being elusive, "crazy" (A Gemini-Sun sometimes has difficulties to grasp the spiritual side of Neptune - and you have a pretty strong Neptune.
Neptune on your 4th house cusp could be an indicator of the "absent mother"; not necessarily physically absent (evne though that could happen, too. Sometimes parents are in hospital, an asylum or jail), but emotionally absent. You probably didnīt have the feeling that you could rely on her. With her own Sun in 12th house, she probably kind of "disappeared" emotionally for you and was not very accessible. Sometimes drugs or alcohol play a role, sometimes it is a sickness and sometimes the mother just keeps away from her children, because she wants to have "free time" to herself.

Her Moon in Aries squares your Mars in Cancer - oh reversed roles!
Both of you are emotional, but in different ways, and both of you may easily feel hurt, and there are conflicts and disputes about emotional matters possible. Much emotional agressivity possible. Sometimes passive aggressive, sometimes rather blunt.

Her Mercury squares your Venus, too (just as Uranus conjuncts it) - again we have words that can cut deep. Or even her thoughts/ ideas.

Venus square Venus - very different ideas about femine "roles".

Her Mars squares your Uranus - ouch, again erratic, unpredictable sudden outbursts of aggression possible.

Maybe it`s all wrong, how I interpreted it (I just skimmed it and did not check for modifications); but this does not look like a smooth synastry to me at all.

Her Pluto conjuncts my Mars in Cancer(1-2 degrees)
Her Pluto conjuncts my Moon in Cancer(6 degrees)
Her Mars in Taurus Squares my Saturn in Scorpio(less than one degree)
My Saturn is in the first house.
Her chart ruler Uranus which is in Pisces squares my Sun in Gemini(less than 2 degrees)
Her Chiron in Aries squares my Neptune (less than 2 degrees)in Libra AND my Uranus in Cancer (less than 2 degrees) and my Mars in Cancer(this is 11 degrees but might be felt)
I am not good enough to see a whole lot but my relationship with her was based on deception.
I see Neptune in there in a strong way(deception) and Pluto(bullying) and Mars(aggression) and much of it in Cancer, the sign of the mother.My two chart rulers are the Moon and Mercury(if I understand rulership).
The Moon is in Cancer. Mercury is in Gemini.
My mother comes in to the sign of Cancer with her Pluto and Mars and seems to beat me up---for lack of a better word.
I am not good enough to put it all together but can see the outline of what it was like.

Her Venus squares my Saturn AND my Neptune .
Her Sun opposes my Jupiter in Leo(3 degrees)
Her sun squares my Ascendent(8 degrees) and takes in my Saturn ,too,in a wide orb (11 degrees)
Her Saturn in Sag squares my Venus in Gemini(3 degrees)
Her Mean Node conjuncts my moon in Cancer.

What would an astrologer do if he saw these two people coming in for synastry?

Anyway, as per your mom, I noticed your IC ruler, Jupiter, is square that cluster of hers (Uranus, Pluto, Mars) and her IC ruler is opposite your own and your Uranus...I think that is something to consider? Also you both have emphasized 12th's in your overlays which can't be comfortable...especially with Mars being involved in both (in my experience this is super touchy?) Also I feel like that Vertex conjunct Uranus might add to the discomfort. Again, its interesting because you guys have such strong connections but that might just describe the circumstances of your relationship (w family members I've noticed and read its common to find Node, Moon and outer planet connections) but the angles and houses might be telling more about the more deep personal feelings.

Your synastry doesn't look that great either with nodes square and sun and moon square.

Shes a water sign and your fire so very different elements also.

I think saturn conjunct pluto in my first is what gives me the strength and determnation to get through everything I've been through. Despite the most horrific life and being a cancerian I dont crumble easily and I believe its thanks to that conjunction in my first. Im lucky to have them 2 together which make ONLY GOOD aspect throughout my chart which make me a strong person.

Sat & Plu :

Sextile my venus and neptune

Trine my moon, mars and north node

So together they work wonders in my chart.

Also I'm very lucky Im blessed with luck and that might be thanks to my jupiter in sag in my 2nd house. Honestly I cant tell you how many times I have been stranded in the iddle of nowhere to only turn the corner at 5am somewhere in the world to find someone I know who has always helped me or guided me in some way. Otherwise today I could've been someone with a drug addiction or a prostitute trying to get by in life at a young age.

Once when i was 14 my mum kicked me out and I didnt have a mobile then and it was 3 am I was walking outside and I came across a friend who offered me his house rent free for 2 years. It was a mansion with 7 bedrooms and all he wanted was for me to continue school and he gave me the keys.

I've had times when I have been completely broke but money (and i mean in thousands) will some how come to me. Just the other day my lap top got ruined and the manufacturer offered me cash rather than fixing it which was crazy because the day before it I was sayng to my ex that i need it to rain money so I can get my car fixed.

what a horrible story! I`m really sorry for you.

My own relationship to my mother is, well.
As you can see we are VERY different: she is all Virgo-Cancer-Scorpio and I am all Sagittarius-Aquarius with strong Neptune.
And we DO have a lot of squares and tensed aspects: DW Moon-Mercury-square; her Uranus on my Saturn, my Uranus on her Sun and all.
And it is true we are a challenge to each other, and we can easily hurt each other`s feeling with our words. At least she often is hurt by my (thoughtless) words, which in turn hurts me - the thought of having hurt her like I did.

BUT we are also very very close. Sometimes I think we are too close, to the point, that I used to feel responsible for her feelings.
Also, she somehow projected her own fears and experiences onto us children, unintentionally. It is something that she has gained awareness of just recently. That he probably gave a slight tendency for brooding-depressive moods to us children, too. Especially me.

But even despite all that I love her to bits and I know she loves me, because she has always told me that she does. Physical expression of affection is a bit difficult for both of us, even though I remember one time when she said how hurt she was when I was a baby, I did not want to stay on her arm (well, I have an AQUA Moon). It is a bit ridiculous to feel hurt by a baby`s action though.
The good thing is she knows that and she knows that this is not my fault, but the emotional impact is there nevertheless.

BUT I can always rely on her (the downside is that she is watching my life very closely though, even though she would never admit that). She (and my Dad) has really always been there for all of us, for the whole family. So whatever issues we have (like her goint through my things since in puberty and shouting like she was getting a heartattack; she didn`t even want to violate my privacy - my room was just always a mess and she tried to shock me into "order" - did not work. My appartment is still a mess, which is the reason I usually do not invite her because of possible, probably admonishing,desparate looks, whcih in turn is hurting her).
