when it is said that venus represents pure love, i can totally relate. we really do have a pure love between us. acceptance, with no strings attached. commitment is another issue entirely.

definitely. he has a 5th house moon, which i personally feel is not a great place for the moon concerning serious relationships. he usually bails once our relationship stops being fun. there are a few time where he'll be adamant about working through issues, usually when his aries sun and venus feel like it is a challenge to be won, especially if he feels like there is another person he will lose me to; he will pull out all the stops.

the moon rules my 7th house and its in aries in H3. talking though conflict and feelings is how i live in relationships...definitely one of our biggest issues.

In August 2007 his pVenus @ 13 Taurus was applying to trine you nVenus @ 14 Capricorn. In September 2009, his pVenus @ 15 Taurus, had caught up to and passed that nVenus @ 14 Capri. Imo, this was the shift which tore you apart.

He's a very fiery guy, and with moon in Aries, you pretty fiery yourself. Natal to Natal this matchup has a lot of tension, which for fiery types like you two is the spice of life. However, no one can live of drama alone. It is my belief that his pVenus in Taurus trine you nVenus (in 2007) provided an opening for love, but with that aspect now spent, you're left with nVenus square nVenus running alongside pVenus square pVenus. Those and a bounce of other fractious relational aspects.

What's exciting is that your pVenus @ 16 Aquarius is conjunct your nSun @ 16 Aquarius. If you're in the market you may very well find what you're looking for.

The potentially next most exciting thing is that his pVenus @ 16 Taurus squared your nSun @ 16 Aquarius. This points to a possible release of tensions.

Sun/Venus squares can work in two ways, it can separate people permanently or, as in your case, whatever stood in the way of joining forces may suddenly not matter so much anymore.

Another thing I wanted to talk about was the moon signs. They are in trine aspect in the nCharts, and an on-again off-again trine relationship in the pCharts.

Based on the charts you put up, your pMoon is currently at 22 Pisces, and his @ 2 Sagittarius. AAAh!, moon square moon. Progressed moon moves roughly 1 degree per month. From this I know that two to three month ago his pMoon was in a water sign providing a sign-to-sign trine between you guys. Relatively that should've been a period of calm, or communication.

i think g double u and i want the best of both worlds: best friends with benefits where we theoretically could meet other people but would never exercise that right. that is not quite fair to either one of us.

at this point, with all of the experiences i've had with him together with my astrological knowledge, it seems that he is not quite the best match for me. but i don't know what is. in another thread, i talked about how moon square venus in the natal chart can manifest as confusion about what really makes one happy. it is true for me. my moon loves all the fiery types i attract my but venus is very annoyed.

i've been paying attention to the prog venus conjunct natal sun. i've been keeping myself open to meeting someone as me and this guy aren't in a committed relationship.
