Hello Snow-Flakeys!

This is a second question I have, unrelated to my previous thread.

How much does the ruler of the AC (its sign placement, house placement and aspects) affect your physical appearance and the way you come across to others?

Do you look or act in a similar manner to people who have their AC in the sign of your AC ruler?

I can relate to things that Jane and Unmoved have posted (although there are also ways in which we're very different). I have Uranus conjunct my Scorpio ascendant, and I think they both have Uranus in their first house.

The only person I know away from the computer, that I'm sure has a Scorpio ascendant, is my cousin L. I'll have to ask my family, if they can see any similarities between us. We look very different - I'm small-boned, but am heavier at the moment, so I look stockier. I'm dark-haired and dark-eyed, she's blonde and blue-eyed. If you check my Facebook profile for older photos, you can see me, and there's a picture of L, from the side, lower down on my facebook wall (posted in March). (Maybe I'll borrow my sister's photo cd's and see if there's a better picture there - if I find one, I'll add it to my friends and family photo section on FB.)

My ascendant ruler is Saturn in Sag/12th house.

I'm not sure if I've ever met another Sag Rising....maybe I've come across one here but I don't remember. Either way, we'd probably all look so drastically different. I do seem to be more predisposed to gaining weight than the average Capricorn. *SMH*

I'm pretty reserved in life, but when I'm talking to people I do try to be direct but always end up come of as unintentionally blunt.

Hmm my Asc ruler is Sun in Pisces,
but, no, I don't think I look or act like any Pisces risings I've known/seen.

K, Vapor, you are an excellent teacher, so help me out..

If I am an Aries Asc, the ruler of Aries is Mars. I have Mars in Libra, in the sixth house. So, which one are you asking if I look like? An Aries, a Virgo, or a libra???

That's the way I took it, before opening the thread.

I was so busy thinking about who might have a Scorpio ascendant, that I forgot about Pluto and Mars placements. My Mars is in Pisces, in the fourth, and Pluto is in the eleventh (using Placidus). I need to check L's chart - she was born at the end of 1968 (December - she's one of many Sadgie's in my family).

I did chuckle when i opened this thread

Well i am never sure about my AC although i do think i probably have Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in my 1st house which makes me Virgo or Leo.
I am pretty cat-like and feline in my movements. My sun is in the 9th which might explain my attraction to foreign looking men.
My boyfriend is Leo AC and we look and act in a very similar manner. We are also eternal optimists and rays of sunshine so i'd say yes, i think the AC ruler does affect your physical appearance and the way you come across to others.

Hope that helps, even though my AC is always up in the air!!!!

My Asc is in Aries
My Libra Pluto exactly opposite my asc.
Yes its sits on my DC..
My Mars is in Leo.

My actions are very much Aries, I walk fast,Im impatient and aggressive... I wear my hair up or in a clip most of the time because I'm always rush rush rush....

So the Aries Asc really describes me well.

Virgo Rising w/ Mercury in Cancer.

I'm very sensitive, yes, but I try to hide it. It doesn't take much to bring on the water works...unless I have my guard up, then I just freeze up.

I attract a lot of Cancer Risings/First house moons. Progressed Moon in Virgo (Moon/Mercury) are drawn to my like moth to flame.

Cancer Asc. Ruler Moon in Sag. in the 6th
I had my own business for about 7 years, my employees were very happy with me, I use to cook lunch for them at least once a week, also brought them breakfast, I can't hide my Cancer Asc I have to cook in the 6th house, taking care of my employees.
I think that I do look like my Asc round face, big dreamy eyes I come across like a very sweet person, sometimes people try to push me and then my Mars in Aries is unleash
Also Moon in Sag. I am very up front with everything it is almost inpossible to lie, very optimistic upbeat personality and I love to travel.

Leo Rising, Sun in 5th along with merc and venus all in Cappy.

I'd have to agree with this. I am Leo like, doing stuff with my hair, I studied to be an opera singer I've been told I have a very vivacious natiure , and it helps balance out the earthiness.

ASC is Gemini with Mercury conjunct Sun in Aqua in my 9th.

Though, I think my Sat/Uranus conjunction opposite my ASC says more about my appearance than my Mercury. I always look stern/b*tchy. People are intimidated and think I'm mean looking

ASC ruler = Pluto, conjunct ASC from the 12th house. sextile Sun and Neptune, trine Jupiter.

My life has been marked by radical physical transformation. My weight has fluctuated a LOT since I was 8 years old (Jupiter-Pluto trine may cause this). I have been changing my clothing style and hair color since I was a very young teen.

I have an intense look..people often ask why I look so p*ssed off! Others have also told me that I have an evil death stare when I'm angry or even pretending to be angry.

Some people are intimidated by me while others just think I'm "weird". I do notice that I get stared at a lot, and I don't always think it's in a good way. For example, if I go out and I just happen to be really angry or upset about something..I notice that people will stare at me a lot during those particular times. Pluto shows through a LOT for me.

Thankfully I have Venus in the 1st house to soften me up and make me more likable.

i have my rising in taurus. my ruler venus is in the 7th house in scorpio conjunct pluto trine jupiter. venus/pluto is conjunct the descendent too.

ive had someone tell me i look very venus/pluto. so i think for the most part it rings true.

i know a few other people but theyre guys who have a taurus rising and one has their venus in scorpio too and he has a really lanky apperance too.. dark hair and stuff. but we all have really strong, physically fit looking bodies for the most part.

libra rising i feel is a bit different.. i dont want to say they are plumper than taurus but all the ones i know put on weight really easy or their bigger. i think its sorta wierd considering taurus is known for being "stocky" or "thick" and the ones i know that have taurus rising dont have that problem. its probably not alwyas the case im just talking from the people ive know. i know more libra risings than taurus risings though..

I have a Capricorn ascendant which is quite obvious to people, Saturn is in Libra, I get along great with Libras and Libra risings ( although I have a Libra moon which probably helps), people always think I am a Libra which is interesting. I do manifest the ascendant and moon, I don't really manifest my Cancer sun.

My ASC ruler may not be completely indicative of the way I look (even though I never know how certain signs should look), but it is very prominent in my behaviour, my instinctive inclinations and also in the way I often come across.

ASC-ruler Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house squaring Neptune on ASC in Sag (they are also in mutual reception).

My Scorpio Ascendant is like a pair of high heels.
I am not comfortable with it.
I am used to wearing tennis shoe--my Cancer moon.
It is a non threatening sweet thing .
I wish life did not have the things that make the power of Scorpio/Pluto necessary but it does.
I did not want to/couldn't wake up to that.
I am waking up to the fact that I must incorporate the Scorpio/Pluto energy.
I think Pluto conjunct MC is a strong aspect.
I am not that good to know but I think that I cannot push away this energy without suffering from doing that.
I have gone against my gut since I was 14. I have gone against my "knower"
Scorpio just knows things. Most are not good --lol.
It is about the garbage heap of human nature.
I did not think I could face it so I pretended it was not true.
I suffered cuz you just can 't do that.

You seem Cancer like , Belgz.
Cancer is warm, sweet, caring and likes to be part of a social group.
Cancer will try to make others feel accepted.
I think Cancer is just one part of you as you have Virgo and Leo, too.
I can see the Leo very well with your warmth and open heart.
You also have a flair for the dramatic
I love the Cancer placements(except Mars ).
