Uranus breaks away from boundaries Neptune dissolves boundaries Pluto obliterates boundariesonce you get past Neptune, you get into the "unknown", the extreme depths that's the vicinity of Pluto and its fellow transneptunians Sedna has the greatest average distance of all of them put together.
Sedna is the "far out, beyond" object. ------------------ Raymond Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://people.tribe.net/4b0cf8c4-1fc3-4171-92d3-b0915985bf95/blog IP: Logged |

quote: The was a big theme of siblings here, my Mars is in the 3rd house/Gemini and I'm the eldest so while I had no siblings to mentally terrorise me, i did have an uncle who's 10yrs older than me who used to psychologically torture me. It made me withdraw in my youngest years and still now, i feel that terror and shame around him, even though I'm a full grown adult. My parents played favouritism games, as most parents do, with my 2 younger siblings. I could never trust that they did love me like they say they did cos their actions, lack of understanding and emotional coldness would say otherwise. With Mars being in the house of siblings, I've always suspected that I've had a few half brother or sisters out there, despite there being no indication of such a thing. It's always just been something I've suspected, my gut instinct tells me so and it hasn't been wrong yet.
I have Mars in the 3rd as well, and while I don't feel mentally terrorized by any of my siblings....I have a mentally aggressive Pisces Sibling (Pisces is on my 3rd house cusp). It can be funny in good times and downright horrible in bad times because in bad times (when we're angry) we tear eachother to shreds. I've said things that hit to the core in arguments with her and with other people. But with her, I always feel like the nature of our relationship never changes (she has a Scorpio Asc too). With other people whom I don't share the same influence or bond....the things I've said in the heat of anger have changed the nature of our relationship forever. Sometimes for good, and sometimes for the worse, but to me...it always ends up being for the best.
My parents did played the 'comparision' game between myself and my siblings. I'm sure all parents are guilty of this, but with my father....he really cut deep. I'm not gonna lie, I'm still pretty resentful of alot of what was said. It hurt my pride the most since I'm the oldest.

Cos i'm the eldest, I couldn't be terrorised by my siblings. If anything, I mentally tortured my younger brother when we were really young kids because of the extra love and affection my mother gave him, we're both Cancers (whereas he's a Cancer moon, ULTIMATE mummy's boy) and he knew what was going on and used to pretend so he could watch me get in trouble.Sounds really horrible, but we are so close now and spend a lot of time together. He's my best friend and always helps me for whatever reason, no matter how silly he is. We have never had an argument or get angry at each other (except for last year, where he admitted that there is a difference in the way our mother loves us) And I've made sure that I've been there when he needed me and tried to provide good guidance. He's turned out to be such a kind, sweet, lovely gentleman As for my sister, who's 15...well, she's a Capricorn sun and a Scorpio moon, the rest of her planets are in Capricorn or Scorpio. Cos she's about 10yrs younger than me, we have more of a mother/daughter relationship, she looks up to me as her strong female role model and emulates me in every single way. Clothes, music taste, personal style, manner of speech, personal morals/ethics etc. She is exactly like me but way more badas$ (shy cancer versus the dark cappy/scorp energy..trouble finds me, she goes looking for it!) The bonds between us 3 are so tight and dynamic, we really do love each other more than anything and a lot of people are jealous of it. Nahh, it was an uncle who's 10yrs older than me who was just abusive, mean and hard on me. It could have possibly been a jealousy thing from when i was born and taking the attention away from him, but he's always just been really harsh to me. But when i moved to the city on my own at 15, he took it upon himself to become my legal guardian at 26 and even though he was an abusive nazi when it came to school and who i was hanging around with, now as adults I realise it came from a place of love and if he wasn't so strict with me then I would have never achieved so well in high school and in the rest of my life. I really do look up to him. IP: Logged |

Wow, your brother and you sounds alot like my sister and me. She doesn't have a Cancer sun like me, but she does have her pisces sun in the 4th house....so it's pretty similar. We do argue, but hang around eachother's groups since we're so close in age and we've have a pet project together that's soooo Mercurial...haha. IP: Logged |

wow! so very interesting. my ex (we are still friends)has mercury(R) in taurus opposed pluto(R) in scorpio. AND its conjunct his IC/MC axis. (pluto is right on his IC from the 3rd house side...scary) talk about family secrets, half brothers and sisters, poor communication in the family, secrets secrets secrets....abandonment, divorce, drugs... sheer craziness! no wonder he's incapable of having a healthy romantic relationship. at least with me. he's one of those people who is master of changing the subject to HOW we are talking to each other instead of what we are actually talking about. i have to beat him over the head with a brick (figuratively) to get him to open up. and boy is it pandora's box in there! on a more positive note, he has got an uncanny way with words. very creative writer.. i've got mercury in a loose square to pluto... oh yeahMy mom has Mercury parallel Pluto - '00 Everything in that article applies to my mom. She's not into the occult nor metaphysical stuff though, and she tended to look down on that stuff from the Roman Catholic perspective. She also has has Pluto in Leo in 3rd which sextiles her 3rd house ruler, Sun in Gemini therefore she has 3 Mercury/3rd-Pluto signatures. If you include Sun in Gemini sextile Pluto. 4 signatures
She also has Mercury square transneptunian dwarf planet candidate/plutino,Ixion with 2'27 orb. That's similar to Mercury square Pluto. In Right Ascension, she has Mercury square transneptunian dwarf planet,Eris with 51 minutes of arc. I think that her extreme intense, deep thinking, communication is the combination of her Mercury parallel Pluto,Mercury square Ixion, and her Right Ascension Mercury square Eris.
When she's angry, she can cuss with a passion. I lost count how many times she's cussed at me. She and I argued a lot with each other. I can really see how her Mercury square Eris works in regards to arguing, discord. I think her Mercury parallel Pluto is very manipulative. I think Mercury square Ixion can be too. All 3 configurations could be that explosive temper that leads to destruction. ------------------ Raymond Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://people.tribe.net/4b0cf8c4-1fc3-4171-92d3-b0915985bf95/blog IP: Logged |

"i've got mercury in a loose square to pluto..."electricmind, You might have that in orb in Right Ascension. The difference between ecliptic longitude and Right Ascension with Pluto can be very significant because of it's transneptunian nature. You might have Mercury aspecting other transneptunians. You might have Mercury-Pluto midpoint picture too. What's your birthdata?
I can check it out for you.

You have a midpoint picture involving a Mercury/Pluto combinationLunar Nodes in 13'28 Gemini/Sagittarius Mercury/Pluto in 14'09 Sagittarius so the Hamburg School/Uranian Astrologers and Cosmobiologists would tell you that you have Node oppose Mercury/Pluto midpoint with 41 minutes of arc. connections, associations (Node) combined with the integration of thinking, communications, mental activity (Mercury) and intensity, transformation, subtlety (Pluto) This the interpretation for it in Ruth Brummond's Rulebook
NO.ME.PL. + enjoys contact with others. adapts. spontaneous. entertaining. glib; fluent. talented with language. skilled at development. gets personally involved. able to think in abstractions. skilled at communicating. agile. elated. gifted with rhythm. changeable. willing to modify opinions. To develop a discussion about relationships. To think of changes in associations. Talk about new contacts. Talk about changes due to an association. Discussion of transformation in relationships. To alter one's opinion about contacts. - irresolute; fickle. vacillating; unstable. [exploitive or verbally abusive when unevolved.] ------------------ Raymond

Benedict moon.Im not sure how it all manifests. the opposition to neptune causes me to be a dreamer. gives an elusive mind at times. and prolly does effect my speech. prolly with my words being scattered and not exactly the right words. I feel it might cause me to get interupted to because that happens alot. but I would rather have these aspects then not because the benefits are very real. I empathize heavily with the last 4-5 paragraphs of happy dragons post. i think that accurately describes merc pluto. that part about understanding things on a very deep level but not always being able to put them into words is def true.
