i didn't use to believe them. But this past summer I met someone who was definitely a soulmate while i had like 3 cinderella aspects going on. This was the first guy I ever spoke to about marriage and children and vice versa. What i failed to recognize is that I also had a saturn heartbreak aspect happening ( transiting saturn QUINCUNX my natal chiron) and yes, it ended in a big ol' heartbreak I believe it more now.

Are Venus/Chiron conjunctions in the heliocentric chart significant?

I've met one guy where we had Venus conjunct Chiron and Chiron opposite Neptune (heliocentric). It was a one night stand. According to the Magi we should be hitched! Although there was a Saturn clash with Chiron, but frankly, everyone my age is going to have a Saturn/Chiron clash and if that's the case, shouldn't they all be suffering heartbreak always and forever?

eta: Actually I just looked at the chart again and there is no Saturn clash to Chiron. My b. I guess the Magi would say it was a one night stand because we have Juno conjunct Juno lol.

I don't buy Magi because of the fatalism and the way they completely disregard certain archetypes/myths behind planets and asteroids (Juno for affairs? WTF?).

Here is stuff on Heliocentric Astrology:

The Heliocentric Idea

What is heliocentric astrology? To put it simply: it is an astrology which uses a map (the astrological chart) in much the same way as traditional (geocentric) astrology. This map contains the positions of the planets within the reference frame of the twelve signs of the zodiac.
The difference with traditional astrology lies in the map's viewpoint: heliocentric derives from the greek word helios, which means sun, so the heliocentric map has the Sun instead of the Earth at the centre.

"But we don't live on the Sun!"... This is the first common objection to the idea of a Sun centred astrology.

The second objection is related to the 'loss' of the Sun in the chart and its symbolical meanings. There is also the question about the meaning of the Earth, since the Earth appears in the chart instead of the Sun.

A third objection is related to the inevitable loss of certain points of reference which we are so accustomed to in astrology that it makes us dizzy at first. These points of reference are of course the angles of the geocentric chart: the ascendant and the midheaven, with their counterparts the descendant and the imum coeli.
Giving up these points appears also to imply the loss of the 'house wheel', which gives so much meaning to any chart interpretation and forecasting.

Let's attempt to address each of these issues one at a time.

The horrified exclamation "we don't live on the Sun" usually implies something more profound than the self-evident factual statement. What astrologers really mean by this is that the planets (including the Sun) have an influence on us due to their position in the sky as seen from Earth.
However, if we take a broader look at the matter, we soon realize that changing a perspective does not change the real position of the planets, just as taking a photograph of an apple from one angle instead of another does not change the essence of the apple.
The change of perspective however does change the chart in many ways. Not only does the Earth appear instead of the Sun, the whole structure changes significantly with different angles forming between planets and often even totally different sign placements, especially in the case of Mercury and Venus.

Here we come to the core of the matter. What does the heliocentric chart, with all its differences compared to the geocentric one, actually mean and why should we use it? Answering this question is addressing the objection about the loss of the Sun in the chart.
In astrology, the Sun ultimately signifies the spirit. In traditional, geocentric charts, this spirit is qualified by sign placement, house placement and aspects. The philosophy behind heliocentric astrology is that the Spirit is undivided and cannot be reduced by the above mentioned qualifications. The Sun as Spirit is. The Sun as Life is. There can be no more qualifiers to the very essence of being.
What qualifies the particular existence of the individual is the structure of the Sun centred chart, where each planet signifies particular levels of existence.

The most evident level of existence is the material level, represented by the planet Earth. With a traditional, geocentric chart, the viewer (astrologer) identifies with the physical environment of the individual concerned. The astrologer will see, through the chart, the planets including the Sun-Spirit. With the heliocentric chart, the astrologer becomes one with the essential Spirit of the individual and, through the Spirit-Sun's perspective, will be viewing the various planes of existence of the individual, including the material, bodily environment represented by the Earth.

The third issue traditional astrologers have with heliocentric charts is the lack of cardinal directions: there is no east or west, no north or south. So where should we be looking when using a heliocentric chart?
The answer to this is easy and difficult at the same time: as there is no special focal point (such as the ascendant we find in geocentric charts), the astrologer is obliged to take an holistic view of the chart, which is the ultimate goal for an astrologer anyway. The lack of points of reference, initially very difficult, turns around as a great benefit in chart interpretation.
Apparently gone with the horizon and cardinal directions is also the wheel of houses, which begins with the ascendant in geocentric astrology. However, nothing is further from the truth, as it is absolutely possible to use houses in heliocentric astrology. For more on this, please see Aspects and Houses in the Astrology section.

Given this different perspective, heliocentric astrology is a very exciting new field to explore. Delineations and forecasting are very compelling, so much so that once you really get into heliocentric astrology you simply cannot leave it. http://www.heliocentric-astrology.com/The_Heliocentric_Idea.html

Heliocentric Planetary Nodes

In heliocentric astrology, planetary nodes play an important role. These are the intersection points between the orbital planes of the planets. Although the orbits of the planets around the Sun are like rings that do not intersect, the planes of those orbits do intersect. We will soon see why this is important.
Each planet orbits around the Sun on its own orbital plane and each orbital plane has a certain inclination. For instance, the plane of the orbit of the Earth and the plane of the orbit of Mercury do not coincide but are inclined to each other.

* The following image shows the Earth's orbital plane in red and Mercury's orbital plane in black (the inclination in the drawing is actually exaggerated). The nodes are represented by the blue dots, which are the intersection points. The nearest dot is Mercury's North Node (the ascending node) and the dot on the far side is Mercury's South Node (the descending node). When both the Earth and Mercury are near the nodal points, these planets will be in a straight line as viewed from the Sun.

* In geocentric astrology, eclipses play an important role. These occur when the Sun and Moon are in a straight line as viewed from Earth. The same concept is used in heliocentric astrology. When two planets are in a straight line as seen from the Sun, they either:

* share the same zodiacal degree and the same latitude (they are both near the same node)
* are on opposite zodiacal degrees and are at the same latitude (one is near the north node and the other is near the south node)

In both cases, the effect of the conjunction or opposition is greatly strengthened.

* Even if only one of the two planets is near the node, there is an astrological effect. The nodes are sensitive points which 'collect' the energies of both planets. If, for instance, the Earth is on Mercury's North Node (at 18° Taurus), the effect is similar to a conjunction with Mercury (even if Mercury is nowhere near the nodes).

* An astrological effect occurs even when a third planet is on the node. This effect, however, is not very strong. For example, Jupiter may be positioned at 18° Taurus, therefore on the Earth-Mercury North Node. In this case, Jupiter has a slight interaction with both Earth and Mercury.

While nodal points exist for every pair of planets, the most important nodes in heliocentric astrology are those where the Earth is one of the planets of the pair. This is because, as seen in the lesson on the Zodiac, the ecliptic is the Earth's path (orbit) around the Sun and the ecliptic is used as coordinate system to define the twelve signs of the zodiac and the heliocentric position of the planets within the signs.
The very use of an ecliptic-based zodiac suggests that the most important nodes are those between the Earth's orbital plane and those of the other planets.

The following is by Gary Caton:

Heliocentric Astrology & The Artist Signature
Rudhyar recognized a specific type of astrology to deal with Sociological questions. In fact, he later names heliocentric Astrology as belonging to this 'astrology of the collective'. He further elucidates this distinction in his article 'Heliocentric Astrology and Human Nature'. Here, Rudhyar argues that the geocentric chart, with its retrogradations and other distortions, represents the bias of the individual approach which is a result of the ongoing growth and transformation as an individual with Karmic requirements. In this sense, the geocentric chart can be seen as the merging of both the Psychological and Evolutionary forces: both the effect and the cause. This Rudhyar calls 'the realm of personality'.

Heliocentric Astrology, on the other hand, represents 'the realm of Life'. The heliocentric chart is the 'human nature, as this human nature is in itself before it becomes subject to the stresses and pressures of an individualized personal consciousness and destiny.' As Rudhyar later puts it: 'He (the individual) must stop saying: 'My way is the way'. He must say instead: 'My way 'of what use can it be to humanity' How does it fit into the evolution of humanity''' This underscores yet again the distinction that personal idiosyncrasies really have no bearing on what the collective role of the individual is, only on how they carry out the role. 'The heliocentric approach reveals the way in which the life energies'operate if they are left free to develop according to their natural rhythms, without any interference from the individual's ego and its frustrations or complexes.' In other words, this is what we do best after we learn to get out of our own way!

Rudhyar believed that each person's birth represents a potential answer to a need of the greater whole--the tribe or nation, humanity-as-a-whole, planet Earth. Where else but from the Sun would we look for such an all-encompassing vision'certainly not in a geocentric, locale-specific chart! If one accepts the Gaia hypothesis, that the Earth is a living being, then her source of life -the Sun-must also be alive. To me it is natural for the Sun to represent spiritual, creative energies which guide humankind. After all, we are made of the 'stardust' which forms in the last moments of a Star's life as it fuses all the heavy elements in its last gasp and spews the seeds of life across the Universe.

Indeed, as I investigated heliocentric charts, I began to find a relatively simple 'vocational' indicator. Often one of the closest angle (smallest orb) in the chart -particularly to a personal planet -reflects the 'calling.' For instance, one often finds close Venus or Neptune contacts in the heliocentric charts of artists. To quantify this, I completed an analysis of some famous artists using Astrodatabank software. I found that over 80% of these people had Venus or Neptune involved in one of the three tightest heliocentric aspects. Over 70% had one of the 'art planets' as at least the second tightest aspect. In more than a third of the charts, Venus or Neptune formed the tightest aspect.

Obviously, this method is not completely straightforward. To tease out which of the aspects is the most applicable, we must look at the inter-relationships between aspects for what I call a 'closed circuit.' A classic example would be the grand trine, but I feel that any formation where all the angles are inter-related and contact is mutual between 3, 4 or more planets is significant. This is because I do not feel signs or houses are applicable in heliocentric, thus the aspects are of utmost importance. I use any aspect which divides the circle by twelve, the 'astrological alphabet' 'as well as the octiles. So, rather than saying that the semi-sextile is a 'minor' aspect, (this would be like saying Taurus and Pisces are 'minor' Signs in geocentric) I pay special attention to them, as they relate to letters 2 and 12 'which are associated with Venus and Neptune.

To simplify, I would define the 'classic' or ideal signature of the artist as a chart where one of the closest heliocentric aspects is Venus/Neptune and this aspect is part of a 'closed circuit' or formation of inter-related aspects where each planet (Venus/Neptune) is linked to 2 or more others -forming a sort of 'aspect chain' around the chart.

3 out of 4 of the Beatles had this signature as well as many other musicians -including (so far): John Bonham, Eric Burdon, Eric Clapton, Chris Cornell, David Crosby, Roger Daltrey, Bob Dylan, Glen Frey, Jerry Garcia, Art Garfunkel, Stone Gossard, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Phil Lesh, Steve Miller, Mitch Mitchell, Keith Moon, Van Morrison, Graham Nash, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Page, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Lane Staley, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Joe Walsh, Ron Wood, Neil Young.

My research has been mainly focused on musicians so far, but I have noticed this signature also in writers: Churchill, Robert Hunter, Thoreau, Thomas Paine -and classical artists such as Cezanne, Dali, Mattisse, Toulouse-Latrec, Renoir and Van Gogh.

Perhaps the most classic example of this signature is the heliocentric chart of Vincent Van Gogh. Though not recognized in his own time, Van Gogh was a natural born artist whose painting 'Irises' set a record at auction in 1987 as the first painting to break the 50 million dollar mark. Painting, however, was not Van Gogh's first 'vocation.' He started out as a preacher to impoverished coal miners. Interestingly, the closest heliocentric aspect in Van Gogh's chart is the closing semi-square of Mars/Pluto. Mars is also in aspect to Saturn. These aspects do not form a 'closed circuit' however. The second closest aspect is part of the classic "artist signature." The Venus/Neptune conjunction is part of at least two 'closed circuit' aspect patterns. The simplest pattern is the Yod -also called "the finger of God" aspect -from the Earth to the sextile of Uranus with Venus/Neptune. This marks Van Gogh as a "Visionary" -a focal point of a major cultural movement (Uranus/Neptune). Though he died too young to receive the attention he deserved, other Impressionists recognized his talent. Degas collected his work and Cezanne proclaimed that he painted 'like a madman!'
http://www.dreamastrologer.com/astrology-articles/heliocentric-astrology/

I have a close Venus-Jupiter conjunction
Venus in 14'35 Sagittarius
Jupiter in 14'07 Sagittarius

but I am not an artist because of problems with fine motor skills.
Mercury semisquare Transneptunian Dwarf planet candidate Orcus with 16 minutes of arc
Mercury sesquiquadrate Transneptunian Dwarf planet candidate Sedna with 7 minutes of arc
Mercury,Sedna,Quaoar are in 8th harmonic triangle

In Inuit mythology, Sedna's fingers were cut off by her father as she was clinging onto the boat. Her fingers became creatures of the sea. She was the sea/ocean goddess and ruler of the Underworld,Adlivun located at the bottom of the Arctic Ocean.

The Venus-Jupiter conjunction aspect is modified by the following aspects:

conjunct Mercury in 17'50 Sagittarius
conjunct Heliocentric North Uranus Node in 13'52 Sagittarius
trine dwarf planet Makemake in 15'04 Leo
trine dwarf planet Eris in 12'29 Aries
trine/sextile Jupiter Perihelion/Aphelion in 13'46 Aries
sextile Uranus in 14'14 Libra
sextile/trine dwarf planet Eris Perihelion/Aphelion in 14'14 Libra/Aries

so my Venus-Jupiter is more about communications, expansion, belief systems, equality, diversity, evolutionary intensified lessons experiences, reform, change

You have to look at the overall aspects to get the big picture.

Locating any information regarding the astrological significance of Earth is quite difficult. This is because of the fact that we are earthlings and we view the skies from the planet itself. Hence, Earth is not mentioned among the planets in astrology as it can't be seen in heaven.

Even though Earth is not among the planets observed by astrologers, it still does play an extremely important role as one of the four basic elements. Its qualities include:

1. Stability
2. Grounded nature
3. Down to earth attitude
4. Dependability
5. Seriousness

Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo are Earth signs.
Heliocentric Astrology

Other than geocentric astrology, there is another is kind of astrology known as the heliocentric astrology. Here, all the planets are observed from the Sun and Earth is also one of the planets that is studied. It uses earth-related points that start from the horizon (Ascendant and Descendant) and the geological meridian of planet earth (Midheaven, IC).

Heliocentric Astrology uses an astrological chart quite like the traditional astrology. The only difference lies in the map's viewpoint. Even this map contains the various positions of the twelve signs of zodiac like the traditional chart, except for the fact that the heliocentric map has the Sun in the center instead of the traditional maps that have the Earth as their center.

But because there are still a large number of unanswered questions related to heliocentric astrology, it is not being widely adopted. Hence, Earth does not find a place for itself in the traditional astrology that all of us go for.
Significance Of Planets In Astrology

Planet is a term used by both astrologers and astronomers that refers to the same planets that comprise our Solar System. The names of our planets are listed in an outward order from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Astrology also refers to the planets as two heavenly bodies that are also called the Lights or the Luminaries. They are called as the lights because they reflect the light of the Sun to our planet Earth. Besides the planets, astrology also takes in the star: Sun and the Satellite: Moon as part of the zodiac signs.
The Nature Of Earth

Even though Earth is not considered as one of the planets studied by astrologers, here are some other aspects related to the nature of earth.

* Earth is the soul-centered ruler of Sagittarius. Its position can be found 180 degrees from the natural position of the sun.
* The Earth's position in the chart represents a solid path that each and every individual has to pass with each incarnation.
* It is also known as a fusion of one's animal nature and the Soul. Wherever it lays in the chart, there is bound to be a big conflict. In fact the arrows of Sagittarius target the field of the Earth.
* The Sun, in turn, provides the creative essence that has to be brought into each incarnation. Earth which is opposite in position of the Sun shows points where the creativity has to be expressed.
* Saturn works parallel to the Earth and share the same mental nature that is connected by the Law of Karma.

But do you know your Earth Sign?

The following content comes from the innovative and leading edge treatise, The Sun at the Center, by Philip Sedgwick, available by download from the site's store. This is virtually the only interpretive book on Earth concerning heliocentric, or Sun-centered astrology.

Simply, the Earth sign stands opposite the Sun in longitude - exact to the degree, minute and second, whether seen geocentrically or heliocentrically. How can this critical polarity be ignored, especially given the fact we stand upon Earth? Take your own firm stand on terra firma! Read onward in the journey to rediscover the lost Earth.

Aries Earth (Libra Sun)

Lesson - The lesson involved in the Arien Earthling exists in the process of self-actualization. The individual must come to a full sense of self to allow functional relationships with others. These beings are highly interactive and not necessarily with other beings. Interaction at this Earth level may manifest through a direct confrontation or exchange with a person and it may also result with a thing or a principle. The interaction is secondary to the level of validation which they seek. A sense of self-worth independent of others must result for assertiveness to be complete. At some point, the individual will realize that with or without people, places and things the self remains intact. Until this process is understood, the soul continues to establish faulty interactions to create alienation, isolation and perceived rejection. This is all done in the interest of self-contained validation.

Legacy - Upon completion of self-realization and a self-contained sense of being free from the need of input from others, relatability becomes a primary dynamic in the individual’s life. Interaction begins to provide a mechanism of on-going support for the individual as the person teaches others to recognize that which is self-disguised within their beings. This discipline can be taught by the Aries Earth with incredible compassion for the crisis of self-identity. The individual retains the ability to interact in a non-involved manner, allowing truth and personal integrity to prevail above all else.

Taurus Earth (Scorpio Sun)

Lesson - Many presume that the Earth rules Taurus. Perhaps one would then assume that the Earth in home territory would maintain a certain comfort or reliability in this Sign/Planet relationship. Perhaps that is true and only at the legacy level. These souls drop themselves into a body and begin an immediate struggle to learn absolute (Divine) worth without extorting, exploiting or destroying the value of the high worth item. The physical preoccupies the primal Taurus Earth mind, blinding all objectivity of what truly is important. Priority systems must be established, the truth told and motivations revealed. This all tends to combine the positive aspects of the lessons to lead to the luxury of the legacy. However, it is critical that the learning process for this Earthly student include doing his or her own home work with no ruses.

Legacy - Once optimized, these Earthlings quickly recognize the worth and value of a person, place or thing. They are challenged by intrinsic worth and seek to polish raw materials to a brilliant luster. These individuals can become great motivators. This is often achieved through agitation and playing a negative role to produce a positive effect. Negativity is only used as a transformative.

Gemini Earth (Sagittarius Sun)

Lesson - This sign axis must learn to deal with an intellectually intense duality that teaches that the more consideration and objectivity, the greater the focus. These people perceive this postulate to be in direct contradiction to the basic programming of the mind. The blinders must be removed and a willingness to view polar opposition must result. A mental overload exists until the individual recognizes that missed objectives result from the inability to adjust or correct a course once in motion. Long range effects appear in little steps. As a Chinese proverb states, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.” Such is the case for the Gemini Earth. Steps along the way allow for reconsideration, revision and resolutions to be refined without interruption to the natural direction.

Legacy - Once in a mode of receptivity and diversification, the Gemini Earth individual becomes one of the most directed and consistent contemplators on the planet. The lesson taught by these people is that there is no absolute way to get there. Many paths exist between here and there. Correction is taught as a positive attribute and not as an indicator of something thought or done incorrectly.

Cancer Earth (Capricorn Sun)

Lesson - Mother Earth herself reaches the closest point of approach (perihelion) to the Sun in Cancer. The Cancer Earth contains the need to respond to the most direct sunlight and illumination of all the Earth placements. Direct and undisputed contact with the nurturing action is maintained and requires useful, non-interfering incorporation. Domination tendencies must convert into a support mechanism. Those with this Earth must learn about responsibilities and that each person owns a different sense of responsibility. This realization precludes being disappointed in one’s offspring (anyone to whom the Cancer Earth becomes attached) and releases guilt, expectation and irritation. The pursuit of Earth dictates the need to frolic in the Sun. The ability to enjoy and align with nature establishes contact with the base of Earth. This eliminates an inability to appreciate beauty as it exists. This individual must reject cynicism in the soul to enable the heart to open.

Legacy - Cancer Earth people are among the most sensitive and caring upon the planet. They demonstrate this clearly when actualized in being through support and love given freely and without consideration of reaction or rejection. Love is given without expectation and the individual teaches how to love safely and responsibly without interrupting the flow of another person’s development.

Leo Earth (Aquarius Sun)

Lesson - The development of the personality in an ego sense is the first portion of this soul’s lesson. The ego must then evolve into a unique sense of self-contained individuality which functions with out the need to compare the self to others. Confidence is the quality which stimulates the beginning of the work leading directly into the legacy. The lesson, though, is a tough one and contains intense periods of variation in self-esteem. Once the belief in and knowledge of one’s own internal strength sets in, these people begin an active campaign leading others into awareness of themselves.

Legacy - The Leonine Earthlings strive to lead others in their realm to realize the need for a self-contained sense of individuality. They teach others how to own one’s being and allow creative self- expression to flourish. The Leo Earth people discourage others from cloning or engaging in emulation techniques that establish superficial attachments to the projected qualities of another individual. These people stress uniqueness and strive to promote the confidence of everyone they encounter. This inspirational ability of the Leo Earth may manifest in both direct and indirect means of interaction with others. Personal contact is not necessary for the process to occur.

Virgo Earth (Pisces Sun)

Lesson - Virgo Earthlings appear on the planet to develop an aware ness of the principles of integration on a minute level. Overall knowledge of the system seems to exist in these beings. A need for understanding the detailed simplicity of life’s process must follow. Discipline becomes a key factor in the schooling of the Virgoan Earth as resistance to commitment and structure is taken for granted. This discipline, once implemented, allows these individuals to set into motion the plans, creative concepts and intuitive insights which flash through the mind. Discipline strives to eliminate the inability often experienced in prioritizing life’s endeavors. The organized for mats of discipline yield the ability to select an appropriate creative pursuit to manifest.

Legacy - The legacy of the Virgo Earth resides within the ability to adjust to a flowing system of discipline. These individuals are then capable of presenting to others the synthesis of the subtle and the gross, the sacred and the profane and the parts and the wholes.

Libra Earth (Aries Sun)

Lesson - At one level it appears that these people exist solely for the purpose of establishing identity of the self at the soul’s core. The lesson adds a deeper aspect to the identity quest. It becomes imperative for these individuals to learn the active dynamic of interfacing with others on the planet. Self-assertion must be conducted in such a way as not to interfere with the will and identities of others.

Legacy - Once polarized, these individuals leave behind the lesson of interaction without compromise. The cultivation of the sense of self is a demonstrated blending with an ability to be and to let others be. Interference and imposition diminishes creating a clear approach in human relationship.

Scorpio Earth (Taurus Sun)

Lesson - The drive to transform need presents the biggest challenge of this Earth/Sun polarity. Attachment and possession must be over come. Learning how to have and hold, and how the have/hold principle differs from owning/possessing, creates the crisis of reorientation. Scorpio Earth souls must learn to experience their feelings, especially feelings of material resentment, jealousy and emotional bondage. An innate understanding of the natural value of human resources must learned. This resource of human potential must be understood from the standpoint of using people, not abusing people. Should this lesson about human resource not be learned, the Taurean tendencies only subvert deeper. The subverted tendencies appear through the use of others in a negative manner, creating a master/slave relationship.

Legacy - Once cultivated, these seekers become the masters of manipulating others into positive, creative spaces of existence. An understanding of when to intervene and when to not intervene becomes inherent in one’s nature. These individuals may become compulsive, not being able to see waste of a mind or creative potential. They constantly push, shove and work to apply every available resource. A unique ability to invest in the resources of others also evolves. True levels of abundance and prosperity consciousness can and must be taught.

Sagittarius Earth (Gemini Sun)

Lesson - These Earthlings must learn that focus does not rule out necessary pursuits. They sense that there is a lack of freedom of choice when, in fact, a simple level of mental discrimination strives to present choices. Short range planning must be relinquished to the long range projection. Distraction must yield to well disciplined, conscious direction. Simplification must be produced to gain distance, direction and result. Yet, the need to remain responsive to the subtleness of Divine Signaling is necessary so that single mindedness and dogma does not result.

Legacy - The Sagittarius Earth spirit strives to leave behind a sense of direction stemming from their abilities to focus. A directed philosophy results from knowing which needs to pursue and which not. Vicarious learning must be encouraged to prevent redundancy of the human consciousness effort. The value of thoughts and knowing is taught to others.

Capricorn Earth (Cancer Sun)

Lesson - The Capricorn Earth strives to generate an autonomous sense of self which can only be derived from a strong sense of support and foundation. This support initially extends from external sources and the individual resists receiving support (based upon a point of view that he or she renders support only). This unilateral perception must be terminated for the person to evolve to the fullest. Under standing the bidirectional nature of support assists these people in growth. The awareness of assumable responsibility, to take and not to take, must be assimilated.

Legacy - With the Cancer side understood and synthesized, the Capricorn Earth provides others with a quiet, parental type of support which encourages assuming total responsibility for the self; no more and no less. Sharing of support encourages cooperative interactions on all levels of the creative/receptive axis.

Aquarius Earth (Leo Sun)

Lesson - Within the natural Leo association to the Sun this axis assumes a stronger natural emphasis. The goal of the actualized ego bears the fulfillment of humanity, a lesson easier stated than learned. Overcoming the guru syndrome requires great attention and per severance to cause. One must be conscious not to accept unwarranted praise and at the same time remain accepting of praise which is valid. Avoidance of idle flattery and yes-type followers must be included in the growth. Total identity as a unique and persistent individual cultivates some necessary isolationism for the growth process. Courage and commitment of the self requires more effort here than in any other case. One must obtain a strong sense of self that is referenced only to the self. This self referencing frees the ego from superiority/inferiority dynamics.

Legacy - Once actualized, these individuals strive to teach everyone to be who they happen to be and to become that which they strive to be. Courage and commitment are taught hand in hand with respect for the being that one happens to be. The creative process is accentuated, allowing them to exercise a purposeful lead in humanity. A choice must also be taught. That choice is the ability to help humanity from a non-involved point of view or from direct and inclusive involvement. A good example is a hermit who would pray over the dominion of humanity versus the leader who works with a group in the interest of evolution. The difficult choice is individual and must not be transferred to any other entity or oracle.

Pisces Earth (Virgo Sun)

Lesson - To flow in the dimension of experience creates the major lessons of evolvement for these Earthlings. When the Pisces Earth encounters a dynamic of growth, the tendency is to compartmentalize the awareness in an intellectual or academic manner. This is fine as far as the process is understood. The only drawback to this system comes from the integration of the experience. To understand experientially creates a conflict for this sign. Once an experience is assimilated, the tendency becomes to translate the experience in a logical or mnemonic manner. On many levels of experience this is impossible, as no words can formulate a concise enough picture to represent the occurrence. Thus, the individual falls in the position of knowing and not being able to explain. The creative process builds up momentum from such a response, allowing the individual to be manipulated by perplexity into realizing an unrecognized aspect of internal ingenuity. Cognitive dissonance becomes the well known “A-ha!” of under standing.

Legacy - The Pisces Earth person knows how to translate inexplicable experiences into a system of reference, provided that when another person flows into the same stream of consciousness the event will be understood for what it is. A Taoist teaching method arises, allowing great levels of individual creativity to be tapped without compromising the process of logic, yet not allowing the mental to interfere with the flow of creativity. An extremely delicate balance of co-existence emerges guiding the person experientially and logically through all events in life. This balance utilizes every aspect of involvement in life to ascertain more of the process of growth and evolution.

Want more on Heliocentric Astrology?

Below are the integration considerations of the Earth and Moon appearing in the same place from the Sun's point of view. Regardless of one's geocentric lunar placement, seen from the Sun, a conjunction between Earth and Moon results.

Aries Earth/Moon - The nurturing sought by these people asks, somewhat apologetically, for acceptance of the self as is. Acceptance of the self when it is the new, improved version is not sufficient. These people require unconditional love and support for the identity they have right now. Once accepted, these individuals become the best givers in the heliocentric zodiac.

Taurus Earth/Moon - This combination needs support for self- worth. The individuals must be supported for what they are, not what they have, or what they can create with their own intrinsic resources. The value of personal attributes is paramount as is the need for support of the individual’s ability to manifest positive activity and make life happen with ease.

Gemini Earth/Moon - These beings seek support for the attribute of listening. Their purpose of the lifetime requires objective consideration of external input (without that input seemingly invalidating the individual). Support for changing the mind, shifting direction, and changing horses mid-stream is needed.

Cancer Earth/Moon - This is perhaps the most intense of the Earth/ Moon systems. These individuals need support to have the space to cry, laugh, feel and not worry. Rest comes through emotional support and the relinquishment of the need to maintain control. Although resistance is natural when confronted with support, acceptance of support bears great rewards in all aspects of life, most especially the professional realm.

Leo Earth/Moon - To be an altruist and to dedicate one’s life to humanity, much internal strength is prerequisite. Thus, these people require ego support, confidence building and listening to, especially for their most radical and unusual ideas. They need to shine and be emotionally polished by their support group to the brilliant personality luster which results when purpose is pursued.

Virgo Earth/Moon - Support for order without criticism is required by these individuals. It is a tricky balance to integrate the creative and the logical. Encouragement to see the details, facts and processes required to fulfill the fantasy must be supported for these Earthlings. This provides the understanding required to follow inspiration from concept through to completion.

Libra Earth/Moon - These people require support for relating with others on an equal, cooperative level. To support this effort, relation ships with peers become the starting block. Relating above or below the individual’s self-perceived status only serves to complicate issues of fairness. Equality comes from willing giving. To support these people, compliment all externalized generous efforts they perform and establish a system of cooperative giving by asking and receiving.

Scorpio Earth/Moon - Money is not power, nor does money ensure good sexual relationships. These people require support for intense, emotional involvement without external distractions like food, money and things. Performance must be discouraged. Fullness of being needs encouragement. Telling such individuals that they are worthy even if they have nothing takes a step towards the initially incomprehensible and seeds the needed message.

Sagittarius Earth/Moon - Support for the validity of one’s ideas is required. These individuals must teach, in their own way, but cannot deliver this dharma without a realization that their ideas are valid, original and important. Support for thinking (especially out loud or on paper) provides the baseline for allowing acceptance of the importance of the individual’s intelligence.

Capricorn Earth/Moon - Freedom from the responsibility of others sets the scene for support with these Earthlings. Allowing for the Ultimate acceptance of responsibility solicits support. That responsibility results when one accepts conditions in life completely free from what others caused, needed or obliged the individual to do. Seeking and consciously asking for support is best.

Aquarius Earth/Moon - Originality of the human model requires validation to make this placement reach optimum performance. To inspire this person serves everyone. Ego is a temporary condition in which self-ness emerges. It is not to be feared nor denied; ego is intended to be supported fully and completely. “Be like the Sun at midday,” as the I Ching points out. Shine on, fully and completely.

Pisces Earth/Moon - Support for openness to the unseen, unknown and the non-tangible best encourages these individuals into fullness. An ethereal sense mutes the obsession with logic into a creative balance which allows for talent to emerge. This emergence takes ideas and gives them abstract form which ultimately yields a valid, logical result.

keep in mind that aspects to the Earth will modify how the Earth works in the chart

in my case
conjunct North transneptunian dwarf planet Eris Node
oppose transneptunian dwarf planet candidate Ixion
sextile/trine Mars Perihelion/Aphelion
sextile/trine Sedna Perihelion/Aphelion

Philip Sedgwick also uses minor aspects:
biquintile Pluto

Philip Sedgwick also uses midpoints in Astrology:
conjunct Mars/Saturn midpoint
square Mars/Neptune midpoint

In Cosmobiology, Mars/Saturn midpoint is known as death axis

Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers was killed in a motorcycle accident on that same day.

I want to point out that Magi Society uses ecliptic latitude aspects in Heliocentric Astrology. Not declination. They refer to the heliocentric latitude as declination, but it's not actually declination.

Declination is equatorial latitude.

They do use declination in geocentric Astrology.

You can actually get your heliocentric declinations here: http://www.true-node.com/pos/

in my own chart:

Earth 13'18 North
parallel transneptunian dwarf planet Orcus 13'32 North

Mars 1'52 North
parallel transneptunian dwarf planet Sedna 1'47 North

Venus 22'26 South
parallel Jupiter 21'56 South

I have Venus-Jupiter parallel
I already have Venus-Jupiter conjunction
so I have a Venus-Jupiter occultation

make sure that you change Center to helio and check the box that says Decl.

Actually, JUNO for affairs makes sense.

How so? Because 1) that's not how the myth goes and 2) that hasn't been my experience with it in synastry or by transit.

I can see how it would sometimes indicate someone who blindly (and stupidly) stands by their partner in light of being cheated on, but I don't see how Juno is the Mistress herself, sorry.

Don't be sorry, and juno isn't any kind of mistress, it is just the marriage partner, that is all.

Benedict Moon,

I agree with you.

Having said that Juno was a very passionate, powerful and strong goddess (even though I can`t understand why she didn`t kick her cheating husband to the curb).
She was proud, loyal and passionate, and pretty revengeful.

So I can see why Juno aspects sometimes / often relate to very passionate connections in synastry. But it really is nothing mistress like. As a matter of fact Juno was one of the very few goddesses who actually were faithful. And despite their quarrels and powerstruggles, a very devoted wife.

And not to forget she was the only one Jupiter was really passionate about.

Well..if Juno/Hera divorced Jupiter/Zeus, she wouldn't be queen. She wasn't Jupiter/Zeus' first wife either. Metis was. She was the mother of Athena. Zeus swalloped up Metis because she was said to bore Zeus a son that would overthrow Zeus like Zeus overthrew Cronus who overthrew Ouranos. Metis gave birth to Athena who sprung from Zeus' head which symbolize the wisdom, intelligence of Athena.

Juno/Hera goddess of marriage and childbirth.

I felt pretty damn strongly about someone who's sun sat right on top of Juno once. And now that it's being opposed by Transiting Pluto, I'm trying to deal with issues related to commitment I never thought I would care about before.
