Also MVM- if I do end up pursuing the long term relationship with him the Uranus/Venus conj will work out great for us since he will be traveling a lot of 2-3 week trips with the Air Force and I have my own business and travel all over the US. I think it will help with the sparks when we reunite. LOLDo you know how a Saturn conj Jupiter would play out... the Jupiter is my 7th house ruler. Him and I have a lot of Saturn aspect... just from his end his Saturn... conj my Jupiter (7th house ruler) squared my Venus (5th house ruler) Trine my Merc (1st house ruler) Trine my Sun and opp my Juno... but I don't know how I feel about juno yet. quote: The couple above also have Uranus conj Venus and Venus sqaure Mars... which most astrologers would of told them to not get married b/c of these aspects plus with the Saturn aspects...
lol what. Most professional astrologers who practice Western Astrology would NEVER tell someone not to get married based on just synastry. First of all Venus square Mars = sexy friction. Second, Venus conjunct Uranus = exciting attraction. IP: Logged |

haven't you ever read a lot of the synastry books? They say it left and right LOL. Plus I went to a professional astrologer last week- after she looked at our synastry she said "You are going to do what you want to do but if I had these aspects with someone I wouldn't be romantic nor marry them. It won't last long" amowls* you might not say it to someone if you were an astrologer/if you are one but it doesn't mean that other astrologers won't do it. Not every astrologer follows ethics. LOL. Racole....so cool you agree and damn those naysayers lol!Jupiter on the 7th to me just means either multiple marriages or even a partner who has Jupiterian qualities, and yes, that would include overseas stuff and travel lol In aspect to Saturn I would think this stablizes the influence of Jupiter. I think it depends tho....it might also mean the partner would have Saturn-like qualities. For instance, I have Pluto on the 7th house cusp square Saturn exactly...my ex was a Capricorn across the board. He also had Pluto in his 7th house. Amowls, I agree with you btw. But there are a lot of doom and gloom astrologers out there who will still say stuff like Racole mentioned unfortunately.

Uranus gets a bad rep for synastry. I think it's a pity. I think it depends on the person as well and even if you see the posts here people have a tendency of saying things like, Oooh, this person has Venus square Uranus, they will cheat or they hate commitment or whatever. Lots of cookbook crap. It drives me nuts. IP: Logged |

MVM-I also have Mars in Sag conj my DSC, which Mars rules the 11th house. I had someone tell me with this aspect combo that there would be a good chance I would marry someone in the Armed Forces or someone in that field, which was friend and turned into more and that I would have to travel to be with him. I guess we'll see. LOL IP: Logged |

I completely agree with you MVM. My longest relationship was with a man that we had Venus square Uranus. Even tho it didnt end in marriage, it lasted for 7 yrs. Plus I was 18 when the relationship started. Yeah, I have heard about the multiple marriages with Jupiter as a ruler. I'll agree I do have a lot of crushes but I'm pretty nervous about marriage and haven't been married yet. (I'm 31)... but I think that is partly from my Saturn aspects... IP: Logged |

I haven't read all the posts but Venus or Mars are good for long term relationships. I have Venus sextile Saturn synastry with my partner and Mars squared Saturn. Its great to be devoted but I hope I won't irritate him in the long run. I hear that Mars squared can be a bummer on relationship as far as romance goes.
