I understand the need to edit, but I wanted to let you know that I never consider your posts "ramblings." Yes, incidental wasn't a clear way for me to characterize personal transformations. What I meant is that we experience those deaths and rebirths so that we can feel within us that part of us that is eternal. IP: Logged |

That is it exactly, Jane--transforming your sense of self. Right now--I know I am doing it but it is so painful. However, the worst pain is being stuck and I have been stuck since my teens so should not complain now x o x Ami

You may not find this insight on Scorpio Rising ladies but one of the transformation goals is to not deny the very powerful sexuality potential. A Scorpio rising lady can get an exponentially powerful/multiple climaxes with a man PERCEIVED by her to be loving her unconditionally, and she may feel a need to be owned by this true lover. This sexuality is actually an opening of Chakras and a feeling of Cosmic Bliss. General transformation in life speeds up after such an experience.( Sometimes this is the case of Scorpio Sun ladies too or Water Suns with Sun on 10th ) This insight makes it all the more necessary to keep Scorpio risers away from guilt inducing religious orthodox catholic/islamic/semitic dictates that consider feminine sexuality to be sinful in general. Thank you (((IQ)))---From your mouth to God's ear . Ami PS On a serious note--the word PERCEIVED to love her unconditionally is the key. How wise of you. I know that for me--in the right conditions--that would happen. I would transform. IP: Logged |

How true IQ! Many saints achieved "accepted" states of ecstasy via meditation and an open third eye can see the striking similarities to what you describe. IP: Logged |

More Scorpio Ascendant than anyone will notice, though don't follow the transformation bit.Where did you read that? Rubbish! Maybe the wording could have been better. IP: Logged |

What I tried to say, Coffee, was that they will either transform or die. Die could mean wither away in many different forms. Ami

Thank you, Jane. It's just that I'm not always this talkative online, or with people I don't know that well - I usually reserve that pleasure for my nearest and dearest. When I was little, my Pisces aunt gave me the nickname of Ariston (and on, and on...). Whenever something seems to go on forever, someone in my family will jokingly compare it to me: "It's like Angela! it never finishes!" I do worry about going on about things. I prefer to listen to, and learn from or about others. (I knew what you were getting at, re: incidental. When I'm feeling better about things, I see it that way, as well. I'm just annoyed that I let things affect me so deeply, that I haven't lived or experienced as much as I might have, had I known how to deal with it all.) IP: Logged |

I can relate, Teasel, to things we learned in childhood repeating and repeating . *I* have that with thinking people are mad at me. I always ask "Are you mad at me?" cuz my Mothers anger was so scary and I always had to try to allay it. Ami

I finally found this thread - I somehow managed to skim over it, over and over. I need to get this book back to the library; I've had it way too long, and didn't get past the intro, due to my being so scattered over various things (as I usually am). For some reason, I'm feeling *really* good today, so I'm just enjoying myself; I was outside with this book, and a snippet reminded me of Scorpio and Lilith... quote:
The sense if gratitude and affection I felt for Rasa grew stronger as I accepted our fate. Somehow, she had awakened a more intuitive, creative, and compassionate spirit in me, one that had been suppressed by the cold cult of reason for most of my adult life. It was, indeed, time for the old king to die. With his imminent demise on the horizon, a new perspective emerged, and it was limping across the desert in the form of a night-haired mare named Tabula Rasa. I sensed that someday the colour of sacrifice surrounding us both would blossom into the rich red hue of empowerment, and at that moment I understood why the patriarchal Bedouin tribes were so afraid of dark horses. When feminine modes of wisdom are banished to the nether regions of the collective unconscious, they tend to manifest in disruptive, vengeful ways, but sometimes vultures, black mares, whirlwinds, and savage hounds are exactly what a woman needs to define her form and show off her best features. The Tao of Equus ~ Page 25.
*edit. Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know that I'd missed posts here. I wanted to copy a bit more - at least from the beginning of the book (as I mentioned before), but I want to get back outside and enjoy this lovely weather, before it disappears for the night. Be back later, hopefully. IP: Logged |

I love this thread, Teasel. I am glad you brought it back. I am in ANOTHER transformation. I don't know if it is just me who gets called to transform and transform . Maybe,I am being self centered to feel that way but my life is a continual dance where I am pushed to the edge of the cliff and told "Transform or die".I want to write lol but it is SO not funny Ami

Hello Ami~I surely can relate to what you are talking about. I've come from being so depressed that I didn't get out of bed for ONE whole year (I mean, I did take a shower and stuff, then I'de go right back to bed) to working every day, and putting myself totally out in the world. It was hard, and there were times I didn't think I'de make it, but yet, I always knew I would, if that makes any sense. Sometimes something has to happen as a catalyst for change, and other times we just get so sick of being *however* that we do it for ourselves. Good luck on your journey. Merc/Nept Scorpio.
