That is what I was thinking, Diana. When you are pregnant--you have to be able to eat for two.
If you have any kind of malabsorption problems --that could take away nutrients from the baby.
Even lack of one nutrient can impact a fetus is a serious way.
I feel badly writing this cuz I know you want the surgery ,Belgz.
I just know how many problems I created in my life from wanting short term solutions.
Then, the payment is a long term.

Hi belgz

from a person who knew someone who had this surgery..and she was not obese.

2 years passed and she started having problems.the band moved and got all messed up.in sort story, she suffered hell for 6 months, then she got a septicemia and..unfortunately died.

she was a young woman, she had a daughter and in a moment she was gone.

it was a surgery that it was wrong for her,and also not very well done.

you,as a young woman, withh only 10kg more than what you woudl want...are you willing to take that high risk surgery?knowing that later you will also have problems when you would want to have children?

you wont be able to be the same person again, once you do it.it isi like DD said.long months only eating soups and liquids.

you will want to eat.but you cannot anymore.your stomach will only allow very very small portions.you will always be eager to be able to eat that wonderful dishes you adore.and you will not be able to...

wouldnt be so much easier and advantage to you,if you be active again?doing sports when yyour knee gets better,or go to a nutricionist so that he or she can prescribe you the perfect diet for you.

please think very well before you make that decision.

there will be no turning back.

Gastric bypass seems pretty extreme for your situation. Why not just lipo? Or get off that medication and take something else. With GP you can't eat real food ever again. You have to watch what you eat so carefully, you might as well just be on a diet (which is 1) cheaper and 2) doesn't involve a major life changing surgery).

Anyway, Mercury rules the digestive system (Virgo) so make sure Mercury and Mars are in good aspect with your natal Mercury.

My firm represented a lady who had the gastric banding done in a New York Hospital by a so-called experienced surgeon. He either made too small a pouch for her stomach or the band migrated and stayed put. Despite her complaints over the course of half a year that she vomited every time she ate, even two spoonfuls of yogurt, he told her she would adjust. Well, she didn't, and she became malnourished and had to chase all kinds of alternative therapies. Ultimately, she had additional surgery to remove the band, which of course was surrounded by scar tissue. The firm won the case against the surgeon, who had earlier fled the country to go back to Tehran, but we got jurisdiction b/c his wife stayed in New York in their fancy house. You should have seen how the hospital advertised his expertise prior to his fleeing the country. I bet he also told his patients it was a simple, no worries procedure.

Also, Belgz, keep in mind that all you need is a few hours in a hospital to acquire a nosocomial infection. Easy to do in a post-operative state.

There, I put in my two cents, as well. And by the way, I have gone from 135 pounds to over 170 in the past five years, due to emotional eating triggered by various emotional issues. My knees started hurting last week. I feel your frustration. I am doing low-carb now, because it's the only diet I can stand to do, since it doesn't limit my portions as much as the other diets, and right now I can't be in starvation mode, with Jupiter hovering in my 1st. I hope you find some solution other than the surgery.

Well all of you just killed my dreams of doing this operation and fixing everything. Now im at home hypervenitalting feeling even more stuck with no solution now...

Saturn is going to be in my house for 2 more years or god knows probably longer since my first house is intercepted and I am going to probably be so overweight and die from that anyway.

My saturn return is going to be in my first house and as it moves towards it it will square all my cancer planets and probably test my patience and ruin me.

I looked up the statistics in Australia and they have been performing this operation since 1994 and there have been NO deaths.

I looked up septicemia and you can get it from brushing your teeth. You can get staph or whatever it is as well by just visiting someone at a hospital.

Jupiter will be on my descendant till next year and I am really upset by all of this.

I can't live with a stomache and ass this big and I don't see it as okay because it isn't good for my health and I need to fix it. I cant with exercise, I worry about my knee too much to really step on it.

I now officially do walk like a cancerian doing a "crab walk" whever I go scared I will do a sudden turn or twist that could do further damage.

I'm laughing but inside I'm not happy..

Belgz,

I'm sorry to hear what your going through...I could totally relate with the harassment, bad knee etc. Few years ago I was the fittest I've ever been in my whole entire life. I was in a beauty pageant, and the pageant Director would always harass me about being fat (even though I wasnt)...so I would workout 2-3hrs a day until the pressure blew out my knee. After the pageant, I was left with a really bad knee for over a year. Obviously I stopped working out and started eating more and gained a bunch of weight. Also being a libra rising/stellium doesnt help either when it comes to weight gain.

Anyways my point is 99% of women go through this struggle constantly, or at one point or another in their lives. The lesson in life isnt about quick fixes but how you can persevere, working through these issues. Honestly you looked pretty thin in your previous pics, and 10kg wouldnt be putting you in a dire position. However I understand it's still a lot, as you've been used to your former thin self. It's like going from rich to poor,...nevertheless hard to adjust.

I have a lot of friends who are personal trainers & film stunt guys. They all tell me, how you LOOK is 70% what you eat, and only 30% working out. I totally agree, especially if your a woman transitioning from early 20's into mid or late 20's. Your metabolism changes, but most people dont tailor their eating habits to these metabolic changes...hence the average 10 lb weight gain per decade starting from age 25-30. I know people always complain how it's unfair actors have the resources to look their best. However to be fair, they are just human and they put in a lot of hard work into looking their best. Also people tend to have a misconception about Lipo. It's not like 10+ lbs is removed. Usually it's a pudge being removed which is less than 5 lbs. Even if you have a personal trainer, it's not magic...you gotta put in tons of hardwork & discipline.

There's so much good food on set everyday...trust me it's hard to be disciplined. Most thin female actors actually stick to a strict diet routine and never touch the food on set. (This is how the catering guys know who's got bulimia). I often see even stunt guys bring in their own food. They'll bring in sandwiches they made themselves without mayo etc. I'm not THAT disciplined myself...but I can say that I feel like I'm constantly on a diet. I never entirely cut out any foods like junk from my diet...but I do proportion it. I'll eat half a slice of pizza instead of the whole slice, so I dont go crazy. Just know that your not alone when it comes to this problem. It just takes a lifestyle change to get you back on track.

I'm glad your thinking about it in a new light, honestly And thank you to everyone for reiterating my point. Also, I'm very sorry to hear about the sadness in everybody's life.

Belgz, hun you know statistics don't mean much and aren't a true representation of the reality. And I know you have a bum knee and that the immobility is getting you even more depressed about your weight/health problem but reading over this again, I suddenly remembered something..

I used to look after disabled people, both physical and intellectual. This meant doing their daily physiotherapy whilst in their wheelchairs to prevent atrophy of their muscles. Some of my clients were so stiff and helpless but they still had to do their exercise. Hydrotherapy was the most effective (exercising in water) and I reckon it'd be the best for your knee cos it'd loosen up the muscles, making it easier to move and the water would massage it plus you wouldn't be stressing your knee out. And as a Cancerian, fitness in the water should be great for your mental and emotional, seeing as your literally in your element, hehe

What i'm trying to say is, if a disabled person who is a wheelchair that cannot talk nor move do some form of exercise, then there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that a strongwilled and determined person such as yourself can achieve the same and more

Tough love approach but sometimes you need a kick up the bum

Belgz,

Take it from me. I also gained 10kgs, from pills as well. As soon as I changed medications, it came off.

So, how about you take everyone's advice and wait. Besides, you're just absolutely beautiful, regardless!

Your mother is a sick piece of work to do that.
Belgz--about beauty--if you don't absorb nutrients--you will not look healthy.
Your skin and hair will look drab .No matter how thin you are --you will not look good.
Listen to your friends on here. I am so impressed with the love on this thread.
True love is honest. It tells the truth no matter if the person will get mad or not like it.
If your mother is like mine--she does not have your best interest at heart.
In fact--she wants to destroy you.

Belgz honey, please don't listen to other people who call you fat, especially those who already know that you're immobilized right now. They are being cruel to say such a thing.

You are a beautiful girl regardless of how much you might weigh at this present moment.

I just ask that you please, please, please not do anything drastic right now.

Your first priority should always be recovery, after that you can get back into shape.

If you are so worried about what you're eating/putting on weight then you already know that you need to stay away from high calorie foods so I'm thinking it could be a combination of comfort eating & boredom. You could try keeping your hands busy by taking up a hobby like learning to crochet or knit yourself a scarf for winter. It will keep your mind/hands busy.

And remember.....

Be good to yourself.

"Your mother is a sick piece of work to do that."
I second that.

As I see it your family is trying to manipulate you to fit (again) in the stereotypical image they want to have of you.
Instead, as a supportive family, they should understand and support you in your decision.
And even if they disagree, there is no point in "yelling".
Also those nasty remarks whenever you eat something, they are NOT helpful.

As I said in addition to everything else I am a bit worried about the Ceres-Neptune DW you have there. Prone to illusions / not seeing clearly (Neptune) when it comes to issues with mother, but also in regard to nurturing your body, food, eating pattern etc. (Ceres).

It is also quinkunx your ASC and solar Saturn. So more unclarity concerning food-related things, w hich influence your physical body (ASC), in unclear ways. Maybe there would be "only" problems of adjustments afterwards, but I also read that the quinkunx is not a good aspect in health-matters. after all the quinkunx itself relates to the 6th and 8th house.
Plus SR Neptune and SR Chiron conjunct your Ceres in natal 6th house of health!

Saturn in the 6th house of SR (health) squars your Neptune and Moon.
Quite honestly I wouldn`t take that risk.

Probably you should focus more on love. How about falling in love again?

You have Sr Sun, Juno and Aphrodite all absolutely exact conjunct (funny though my Saturn is on the exact same degree.lol)

You have SR ASC and SR Uranus and SR Jupiter and SR Lus on your natal DESC and Vertex - so I guess this man would come as a total surprise to you, completely unexpected.
Maybe though, there would be issues around commitment (Sr Saturn is on the Sr DESC and natal ASC, while Uranus is on the Sr ASC and natal DESC).

you have Venus in the 5th house - and almost on the day of your Venus return.
A new love cycle will start.
It exactly trines Neptune - maybe a soulmate, coming from abroad into your home?
Venus itself in your natal 12th house - I guess this would further confirm the spiritual soulconnection there, but maybe you are not really aware now that the man of your dreams is already in your life, jsut waiting for a sign of you, or if he steps into your life, you may not notice him rightaway.

Belgz I am going through the same.

Go and buy FEIYAN TEA in health food store or order it online, I order mine from http://www.chineseherb.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=866 in the UK.
Make sure you order VERSION 4 only. You can brew every tea bag twice. Drink as much as you want, it's quite pleasant. But whatever you do, make sure you are within quick walking distance from the toilet. You need a couple of days to get it working, so just keep drinking it. You will lose all your weight and some more, but drink plenty and don't forget to put the sign DO NOT DISTURB on the toilet door!

There is so much loving, sensible, reasonable, & logical advice being provided by so many here. This advice comes from strong, brave, healthy, courageous, intelligent, and yes beautiful women. Real beauty supports and affirms life. I'm not talking about exterior beauty here. A lot of "beautiful" people too make poor decisions, only to regret it later. You are your own dream maker, weaver, and web spinner. You chart your own course. You are your own thinker. You are in control of your own breathing.
I personally am a shallow breather from a lifetime of not dealing adequately with stress. A good physiotherapist taught me a good breathing relaxation technique. Good breathing keeps the body healthy at the cellular level, a must for proper healing and regeneration of tissue, etc... I have been through 3 rounds of physical therapy for neck and spine issues. It was a necessary discipline for my healing journey. I think the Physical Therapy would be a good place for you to get the support, direction, and action toward your healing. You deserve to be the best you and you already know that this is ultimately your responsibility. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE on this planet will continue to disappoint and frustrate you as long as you remain stuck in your thinking. LOVE YOURSELF... especially since you are from Planet Love. Live your mission and be an inspiration to another, because trust me, you are never alone, there is somebody on this planet who will learn from your personal story. How do you want the story of you to BE? I know that I would like you to be be the victor, the Heroine. May you clearly see the true Love that so many good souls (soul= psyche/mind) have provided to you here in this thread.
