Spanky I figured it out!You have a Libra sun and that's why your unable to choose and PLUS you have a fishy for an ascendant which brings the confusion hehehehe.. Now all jokes aside Saturn and Uranus is on our AC DC axis and we have eclipses in our 4th and 10th houses this year which is prob making things harder but I already assumed I'd have issues with finding a job so I don't bother When Saturn comes out of Virgo we get a green light and we can have more luck then, Uranus is moving away a bit too but I just keep thinking that with Uranus aspecting the MC is just going to bring a short term job along, not just for me but for you too because even though Uranus is in Aries it is going to come back to square our MC. It sucks! It could mean we start working and we get fired? Or we have to quit? IP: Logged |

I remember you r previous words about Uranus causing me trouble, lol. I've not forgotten them either.I'm pretty much leaning towards foster care anyways because that's where my heart is & through all the discussion on here about my chart I've also thought of stepping into community services work at some point in the future. Foster care is going to be a long process & it takes about 3 months to do the training & get approval so there is nothing instant about it. If I take on a foster child it will be temporary placement so that should satisfy Uranus for the moment IP: Logged |

Yes wow that is a good idea. Uranus loves instability and saturn is you providing a base and temporary stability. That sounds excellent. If i could do it, i would do it too.IP: Logged |

Hey Belgz guess what? I finally made a decision. I'm going to do all 3
I will enrol this coming week with one minor change. I'm doing business administration instead of arts administration. The course is part time for 12 months & and that shall keep me out of the Uranus kerfuffle somewhat. This gives me the time I need quite nicely. IP: Logged |

Well you not going to believe how "lucky" I am in regards to getting a job. I wrote a topic about a horary chart and whether I will get this job that im going to go for an interview for on wednesday and I just got an email saying that I don't need to come to the interview as they have already hired somebody internally. I was like WOW thats Uranus and Saturn delaying and disrupting my life LOLIP: Logged |

WOW Belgz. That was a sure sign that you weren't meant to be there. They might have hired you had you gone to the interview lol. You & I are on a very special journey with Mr Uranus & Mr Saturn right now. I think Business Admin is a good thing for me personally because it gives me many options in terms of career. Have you got any thoughts as to what you might like to study right now? IP: Logged |

I don't really mind what I study. Actually when I got my diploma in Human Resources my friend Nikki and I were on the phone (also another gemini moon like me) said lets study one day back in 2006 and we went to TAFE and we agreed to enrol in the 7th course on the list which happened to be HR and at the time I knew nothing about it but we had the best year studying I had Jupiter trine my sun that year. I think I should do something like that again. Pin the donkey LOLI wanted to study pathology for a long time but every single time I missed the course.

quote: Pisces produced a lot of artists, probably more then any other sign.
I disagree, sorry. I have never met a decent Piscean artist and yet i've known and worked with artists my whole life! Scorpios and Taureans and leos are artists. Pisces hangs out at artistic functions and gigs but they aren't artists! They are dreamers and new age sensitives but no way are they artists!

Lara why do you make such generalized statements about things? Blunt statements like yours are the cause of many an argument on here. Is that your aim?
And just to prove you wrong here are a few famous artists who just happen to be under the astro sign of the fishes.... Michelangelo Dr. Seuss Elizabeth Taylor Handel Albert Einstein was also a Pisces.
and painters specifically..... Tintoretto - Painter H. Daumier - Artist Anchise Picchi - Painter I could go all night but I think you get my point.

spanky,There is nothing wrong with disagreeing. You are simply showing one side of the coin, and i the other! I'm far from generalising. I'm speaking from personal experience. It is not my place to generalise even if it is yours to presume this I have met and worked with some of the greatest artists of our time and Alexander McQueen is the only one i can think of whom is/was a Piscean. I have to disagree. Liz Taylor was not an artist, she was an actress and she was not great either. She was iconic. Vivien Leigh was great. Designers aren't artists either. Neither are writers. Neither are Einstein, being a scientist and father of the atomic age. If you'd like to go down the 'generalising' route of just adding anyone famous and creative then: Brahms Bronte Capra Dali Evangelista Ella Fitzgerald Henry Fonda Hepburn (both) Hopper Al Pacino Shakespeare Tchaikovsky James Cameron Cartier-Bresson Coco Chanel De Niro Fatboy Slim Hitchcock Jagger Jung Kubrick Madonna Steve Martin Dorothy Parker Oscar Peterson Polanski JK Rowling George Bernard Shaw Shelley Warhol Mae West John Cleese Dostoevsky Keats Calvin Klein Vivien Leigh Monet Picasso Gordon Ramsey Trotsky are ALL either taurus/leo/scorpio IP: Logged |

Lara you were talking abut your corner of the world as if it's the only part of the world that matters. quote: I have never met a decent Piscean artist and yet i've known and worked with artists my whole life!
I was pointing out that there are indeed some very fine artists who just happen to be Pisces. You were giving a grand statement & quite arrogantly too. Perhaps that's a clue to your AC there eh? And please do explain to me why an actor is not expressing themselves through art? There are many expressions that art under the umbrella of the label art & yet you dismiss it? FYI I included Albert Einstein just to show you that they aren't all dreamers & new age sensitives. The very small list I added was just to show you that your statement about Pisces is incorrect & it was a statement. Now if you're in the mood to argue with someone why don't you give jwops a visit? Just to make myself clear - please stay out of my thread if you're not going to speak on topic. Thank you IP: Logged |

Ok, whatever...Your Piscean side is the confusing/inability to choose side of you and not the artistic side of you. Pisces is emotional yet not deep like scorpio. Pisces have no passion; instead they are dreamy and always in a state of confusion, finding choosing between more than one thing difficult and frustrating. I think foster carer suits you because of moon on MC, sun in 7th and AC ruler in 9th/things that are foreign to you. Seeing as foster homes are halfway houses effectively, i would think this position suits this line of work. As your NN is cj both moon and MC it is your mission to work emotionally to balance yourself. Saturn opposing all of this and his ruler encompassing 90% of your 10th house shows a holding back from 'working' through/with your emotions to find happiness in your career. I am far from arrogant, i am direct and to the point (no pisces) and this is not your thread because this is a public forum! lol IP: Logged |

Dear Spanky I did not want to get in to the Astrological Discussion cuz I am out of my league but I had a feeling when I first read your thread that you should do the foster care. It felt like it would something which would be heart warming for you--enriching in a spiritual and emotional way--even though it lacked financially . Ami

difficult choice. i was going to say much as PA and MVM, combine the two...foster child care carries so many risks to both carer and children and while i am sure you would be great with it the heartbreak factor...and yet these kids do so need someone dedicated and inspired and competent, even more than those raised by their natural parents...i guess the indecision was what made me wonder if you would be satisfied by this work which demands commitment above and beyond...and pisces rising is so likely to become a martyr while trying to save others i fear for your own self in that position. of course if you are already fostering perhaps all the above is moot!! It's the cat's meow!!! I have indeed been through that Piscean trap of giving so much that you suffer & I can't do that anymore. I have learnt to say no in recognition that I have the right to refuse.
Re the foster care - Kat, the whole system is shot to sh1t to be truthful & I am easing my way through what I want to do. I know I want to be involved but as to how exactly, I am not sure. I will see how I go with my studies & look into community services for some inspiration. The foster system is a joke. Changes need to be made right across the board. IP: Logged |
