Let me ask you this though--IF you bond by air/fire or earth does it FEEL different than bonding by water??

Does a water bond feel more heart? Does an air bond feel more "head"?

That's a good point. I was actually reading somewhere.. It may have been the Mars conjunct Neptune interpretation or Sun square Neptune or one of my other Neptune aspects lol - that I can act as a "mirror" to whomever I happen to be talking with at the time.
hmmmm actually It could've been a Pisces Mercury interpretation.

Fire bonding feels FUN. It feels like we could do anything together. We get lots of ideas that we bounce back and forth and end up doing something exciting. It feels like an adventure. It feels like *life force* to me.. I'm not sure how else to explain it.
Actually this is what I need most.
:edit: It's also very unplanned and immediate (as opposed to earth). With fiery friends, we don't think - we just do. For instance in highschool - my Saggy friend would say half way through a class "lets go to the beach.. I'll walk out first and pretend I'm going to the bathroom and you can say you have a headache in 10 min and meet me outside" - so we skipped class sometimes. Maybe we bond through doing silly and risky things.. rebellious things - but it's SOOO much fun.

Air bonding would feel more intellectual I guess. I don't have air - so you'd know more about it.

That is a good point about Fire bonding. It does seem fun and exciting,playful.
Earth bonding is placid--as you said. That is a great description---a lake.
Air bonding seems cold to me--if it is the primary one.

and what if the persons sun is in one house but near the cusp of the next house?

i don't know my exact birth time to the minute(s), but this same person supposedly saw me as enigmatic. her sun is in my 7th house to the birth time i usually go with, as that birth time places my uranus/neptune/saturn in my 5th (but saturn and neptune near the 6th) which i relate to more.

but her sun is right next to my 8th house cusp.

if i am a cancer ASC, my mother would be atleast up to an hour and a half off the birth time she believes in. she seems pretty certain of it. it would change my chart quite a bit too. i can Relate to cancer ascendant a little i think, it would make 'sense' with some of my ways. but with the birth time i already have, my Moon trines my ascendant quite tightly. so that might explain the cancer 'look' and some of my relation to cancer ascendant. i think leo on the asc can give a youthful look aswell.

and astrology can't control features taht much, my parents do contribute lol.

i am not sure i can relate to my chart as much with a Cancer ascendant.

i do wish i could know for certain how accurate my birth time is.

in anycase, her sun very easily can be in my 8th house with my ascendant in leo too.

PS I think opposite signs open up whole new possibilities to each other,too.
It seems that the opposite sign can fill in pieces for the other--parts that are missing or not developed.
The opposite signs can be in any planets-to get this effect.

I think my Sun falls in your 6th house? I can see how that influences the way I see you. But the way I feel you acting out your 6th house is blended with you having your natal Aries Sun in your 11th house: independent, caring, clear-thinking humanitarian. Try as hard as you can, but I could never see you as a stuck up, pompous tw@t. Oh, will my sweet talking ever stop?

Not many people I know are into astrology, but I remember a Leo friend of mine who thought I was a Taurus. LULZ Does anyone WANT to admit I'm actually very watery? LOL Leo falls on my 8th, and in half of my 7th.

My Capricorn friends think I'm a very good looking sidekick with goodtaste. Or rather, they think I'm their sweet and loyal subject...LOL. Capricorn is my Asc. but 20 degrees of it is in my 12th.

Scorpio Ex thought I was sweet, but then they ended up having a rude awakening. His sun fell in my 11th...but I believe it was all the cancer he was sensing, without thinking of the rest.

Sagittarians sometimes think I have a poorer outlook on life, but still seem to find me fun. Their suns fall in my 11th and 12th.

My Libra friend was suprised to find that I had a softer side once. She always thought of me as bitingly sarcastic and pushy. Must be the Mars energy she was sensing again. Her sun Conjuncts my MC.

Cardinal really threw me off, but I'm starting to see how that fits.

The signs make sense. They are strong in my chart, plus they would be accentuated on a message board! See...

~I have Cap on the 3rd. Venus in Cap in that house.

Cardinal surprised me bc I often think I need to be more Cardinal. (Neptune on my Sun can chill me out too much.) In my chart, I only have Pluto and Venus in Cardinal signs. I'm heavily Mutable and Fixed.

But when I look at those houses/signs of mine you're picking up on, Cardinal makes sense:

Cardinal sign on my 3rd house cusp.
Mercury in a Cardinal house (cnj Uranus).

Now I'll give it a go!

10th Aqua - Pisces
11th Pisces - Aries
12th Aries - Taurus - Gemini

I've had people here think I was Libra, including "8th," who was a Pisces.

Male Capricorns seem to like me generally. Strangely so. Female Capricorns are more secretive in what they think of me. My female Capricorn improv teacher thinks I'm cute. I think she finds me generally attractive. She's married to Cancerian woman.

Tauruses...do they find me Piscean? Good question? I have no idea. I mostly get along with Tauruses splendidly, and I don't mind serving them to a degree. That could be seen as Piscean. Oh, when I look at the opposite, Scorpio does occasionally find me critical like a Virgo, so maybe Taurus finds me uncritical.

Aries would either find me 11th or 12th house. They generally do like me unless they're in competition with me.

Thanks for that. I'm definitely not stuck up or pompous - but I do like myself overall. I think Cap and Pisces have more self-esteem issues. The Aries in me balances that.

You know, it's funny you mentioned the 6th and 11th blend. My Saturn is in the 6th house in Sag, trine my Sun (11th). I've always had a strong humanitarian bone in me.

For some reason, I don't think I would've said Sagittarius.

Maybe Aquarius. I love the way you write. You have a gift with words and I'm sure you'd be an awesome creative writer.

I also see you as a very warm person, so you'd have to be an Aquarius with strong Leo in her chart. You strike me as witty and creative but also reliable in an earthy way.

I think your career (and the degrees you pursued) were chosen in an earthy fashion. I studied/am studying something along the same lines.
I think we're similar people in the sense that we can be both artistic and practical/analytical depending on the situation and what is required.
