Do you get along with people better if you have each others mercury in trine or sextile aspect?

Do you enjoy talking to them more and get along with them better?

I get along with many different people.. but there is something about Scorpio Mercury!

When I get a Scorpio Merc trine my Pisces Merc - sparks fly.. It's always romantic and very deeply in tune.

I feel like getting away from the rest of the world and telling them all of those things I never tell anyone else lol

Can't say from personal experience about the sextile, but definitely get on well with Sag Mercs, so yes to the trine. I love the swiftness of thought and conversation. And the absurdity as well. It's constant stimulation and laughing. The other one I find that I enjoy is the opposition. Libra Merc is very underrated, I think.

I'm a Gemini Mercury

I find people with Mercury in Aquarius intresting, we can chat and get into a long debate or discusion.

But, viewpoint wise its either we completely agree or get in a long argument.

When I or the Aquarious Mercury agrees..

I think its a merging of it makes sense technically and logicaly(gemini mercury) and analytical it makes sense(aquairous mercury)

When we don't it probibly makes sense analytically and not technincal or vise versa.

My cousins think its entertaing when my sister and I debate something. She is a Capircorn sun with Aquarious Mercury.

But, we've learned to back away and respect each others views on some subjects,

All get "slaughtered" if its a debate in political science or history and she'll get "slaughtered" if its anything technology hardware/software based against me.

With just ONE! (my best friend)
My mercury is right on my ascendant in Virgo(4*).
His mercury is in cancer (13*) and all his personal planets (except Leo-Moon) are in water.
The conversations are so great & interesting that everyone else bores me within (half) an hour, say; 99 percent, so does my SO .
For me, (that's why) talking with a lover isn't so really important, I do and want to do other things with them although ofcourse there can be some frustrating moments by lack of great talk, but I'm aware nothing is perfect which why I do not long at all for that communication dream.

In fact; experience in life showed me that both (great talk & love) never went so well together for me.

I don't get why both my parents have mercury in air and mine is in CANCER.

My only sibling has his mercury in air as well..

They complete a grand trine with their mercury in all 3 air signs.

Mercury trines are good, but I especially like when someone's Merc conjuncts my ASC or vise-versa. Talking becomes so easy.. and talking isn't always easy for me with my Merc in Sag Rx conjunct Saturn. I'm like Mercurial handicapped LOL.

I have an Aqua Mercury, my best friend has a Cap Mercury, no aspect. Buttt we have DW Mercury/Venus (conjunction and sextile)

My ex had an Aqua Mercury conjunct mine and we'd always argue... and he would make very little sense BUT I could tell what his tactics were because I knew we had the same Mercuries lol.

I have Mercury at 0 Cancer. I've had the best conversations with Mercury in Libra and Mercury in Capricorn. Must be the resistance coupled with my argumentative nature. I'm a Gemini.

Mercury in Pisces & Mercury in Scorpio I've found complete wet blankets. We get along, but only if things are light and superficial. And I promise not to use words as a weapon. Rarely would they venture into the taboo subjects my mouth loves talking about.

I'm a 8 degree Cancer Mercury and I feel like every person I've know *does not* have a water mercury. It's almost like God is purposely depriving me of them.

Por Exemple: my sister IS a pisces sun, but has an Aqua Mercury. My dad is a Cancer sun, but has Mercury conjunct Pluto in Leo. My mother has a Libra Mercury, my best friend has a Sag Mercury, my ex who was a scorpio had a sag mercury (and God, that was annoying), my good pisces friend has an aqua mercury, etc.

I have to say that out of all those I listed, Aqua is the one I have the least misunderstandings with. Leo, Libra, and Sag drive me crazy.

The few Cancer mercuries I've known are great though, even if its usually for a shorttime. We usually see jokes where no one else does, and the conversation is easy

That's definitely Scorpio Mercury for me!

I agree with you that Mercury is VERY important. I had a thread on Mercury a while ago.. not sure if you saw it then. I'll try to find it.

:edit: I should say I have also talked for hours with Cancer Mercury, Gemini Mercury, Pisces Mercury, Leo Mercury, Sagittarius Mercury..
But when it comes to -enjoyment- There's just something about Scorpio Mercury. I can't describe it but I love their minds, that *little bit* more. It's an instant feeling of trust. I can open up to them. I feel very understood.

Mercury's my chart ruler, and my longest relationship was with a woman whose Sun conjuncted my Merc.

Easy, honest, silly, great, fun, special, inspired in the sense that it was always ok to talk. My Mercury is in Sagittarius, so you can imagine.

My mercury is Pisces - as you know, and I do get along great with Pisces Suns.. although I don't think this aspect was ever exact in synastry.

However - If I have to compare.. I still feel closer mentally to Libra & Sag people, who have a Scorpio Mercury.

I would have to get back to you on this as I am not even sure about it.

The only thing that I have picked up on with my chart and others is that because I have a water Moon and Venus....I have gal pals who are either Water or Earth Sun signs....The men seem to be Aquarian, sometimes Leos.....BUT the merc sign....I don't know about that YET.

I'm not sure. Let me look.

Craig Ferguson's Mercury is opposite mine. Love him.

George W. Bush's Mercury is in Leo. I never liked the way he communicated. A bit out of orb for a trine, though.

Nope. Didn't find those Leo Mercuries in my astro.com people.

Confession: Of the Libra & Capricorn Mercuries I listed in my last post, the majority were 5 Lifepaths. I'm also a 5 Lifepath. Mercury is the ruler of the 5 Lifepath. That may have played a part.

quote:
How did it feel to communicate with someone whose Sun conjuncted your Mercury?

This was me and my supervisor, but the conjunction was/is a DW and occurs in our progressed synastry. My pSun @ 17 cancer conjunct his nMercury @ 17 Cancer. His pSun @ 12 Leo conjunct my pMercury @ 12 Leo.

For an instant I thought, finally someone I can take criticism from without getting bent out of shape. Snappish, he, but I got over it...those were the good ole days. Things are strained between us after a painful backstabbing incident where I played Caesar and he, Brutus.

As an highly Mercurial individual, Mercury-Mercury interaspects has been oddly awkward for me. Hmmm, sometimes I think Mercury may be mute in Cancer.

Once upon a time a guy in my group and I could barely find things to say to each other. We weren't enemies, and got one excellent with the others individually, but a casual friendship/idle chatter always seemed weird/forced/strange. Disposition; pMercury @ 6 Leo conjunct nMercury @ 6 Leo.

I've had other instances like this where I'd meet someone or be part of a group setting, and outside of staring, and gesturing there would be no actual verbal communication. When I look up the charts, always, I'll come across a Mercury-Mercury conjunction in the progressed synastry. Strange.

I have an Aquarius Mercury,
but hands down my favorites are Capricorn Mercuries they're sooooo sexy (!)

OK, apart from that, I like other Aqua Mercuries such as myself but we do get stubborn with each other, but also it's great cos they 'get' how I communicate, and they're OK if I creep up on em all of a sudden and start acting in that weird Aquarian Mercury way I have, so that's nice for someone to think that you're normal. And I like Earth Mercuries, too.

Talking for a long, lonngggg time....I haven't noticed it with the Mercury by -sign-, only by -aspect-,
and those are:
Mercury conj their Sun, Moon, Venus, and vice versa,
*those* are the ones where it was 'non-stop'...
I couldn't believe how many words could come out of my mouth in one meeting til i met someone whose Merc was conj my Sun,
I felt so embarrassed but I couldn't stop (!)

Okay..so after doing my research it shows that the folks in my life who I really connect with have - the majority seems to have Mercury in Capricorn, then Mercury in Libra (Conj my Uranus), Mercury in Cancer or Pisces and the last Mercury in Gemini.....There are a few Mercury in Virgo's there too! Leo Mercury as well.....

So I guess Mercury in Cappy works for me - yet it squares my sun in Aries, Opposes my Cancer moon and Squares my Uranus in Libra......

Interesting
