MVM - quote: I'll bump this up again once I've got some real solutions or ideas to contribute
How Saturn = Sun/Moon of you. Raymond - I hoped you'd stop by. You intrigued me with this... quote: a midpoint doesn't have to be activated by a planet or angle for it to have significance
Do you think we can feel the midpoint, even when we don't have a planet or angle aspecting it? To me, it seems like those midpoints which are unaspected would have a cyclical effect on our consciousness. We would feel them several times a month when the Moon activates them. W/o any further contact, they'd fade into the background of who we are. quote: I have a conjunction of: Moon/Neptune midpoint in 17'29 Capricorn Mars/Jupiter midpoint in 17'05 Capricorn
Fitting mp cnj for your advocacy work! Do those mp's form minor squares with your Moon? I remember your Moon is early in Pisces but can't recall the degree. I was thinking about Composite Charts, the ones based on a couple's midpoints. People often say you need time together before you start to feel the Comp, that at first all you feel is the synastry. Perhaps this is because the couple needs the transiting Moon to illuminate their composite midpoints for them? If the Comp Chart needs planetary contact to be sensed, then it would follow that a couple would most quickly and strongly feel the parts of their Comp that form hard aspects with their natals. "Do you think we can feel the midpoint, even when we don't have a planet or angle aspecting it?"Yep...I believe the Hamburg School/Uranian Astrological techniques of Hamburg School are valid. The Magi Society copied them, calling planetary pictures "magi quads" I'd pay attention to midpoint-midpoint conjunctions, oppositions within 1/2 degree orb. "To me, it seems like those midpoints which are unaspected would have a cyclical effect on our consciousness. We would feel them several times a month when the Moon activates them. W/o any further contact, they'd fade into the background of who we are." I agree somewhat ......like if a midpoint is not aspecting another midpoint. I think that it's different if a midpoint conjuncts, opposes another midpoint. http://www.astrosoftware.com/ArabicParts.htm "Fitting mp cnj for your advocacy work! Do those mp's form minor squares with your Moon? I remember your Moon is early in Pisces but can't recall the degree." nope but in my chart: Moon in 3'11 Pisces widely conjunct Mars in 25'54 Aquarius square Neptune in 1'48 Sagittarius square Jupiter in 8'17 Sagittarius (it's within 3 degrees in Right Ascension) I think my Sun/Mercury = Jupiter/Uranus midpoint conjunction with 3 minutes of arc is also good for advocacy, activism with the progressive nature of that midpoint configuration. My Sun parallel Jupiter/Uranus midpoint with 1 minute of arc goes with that too.

"How Saturn = Sun/Moon of you"Isn't it though And very Mercury square Saturn of me as well Raymond, interesting stuff, btw...thanks I would like to study more about midpoints definitely!
I can feel the Jupiter/Mars in me as prominently as I can feel the Saturn on my Sun/Moon. You know what else I can feel? My Sun/Ceres and Sun/Juno mp! In my natal I have an exact Ceres/Juno 8th house conjunction. Then the sun/Juno and sun/Ceres mp conj my natal Venus exactly. I don't even know how it fits in, but it's one of those, AHHHH, OK points which just kind of melds and fills in the blanks for me I'm going to go look at the midpoint grid on astro.com and see what more I can confuse myself with

MVM - Sometimes I want to cheer for midpoints. I'm that enthusiastic about them. Nauseating, innit? Cool chart action with Juno, Ceres, and Venus, especially since Venus is in Scorpio and Juno-Ceres are cnj in the 8th! I think of mp's as a 3 planet cnj, except they aren't all influencing one another the same way. The aspected planet takes on the characteristics of the other 2, and in doing so shapes how the other 2 behave as a unit. Sun and Ceres, for example, come out together through your Venus. My Sco Mercury doesn't quit trying to make sense. IP: Logged |

Raymond -So midpoints tightly cnj or opp one another form a groovy, powerful wave system? That's about the best I can summarize that article right now. You and that article prompted me to check out my tight mp cnjs/opps. I'm glad I did! There were many that really clicked for me. One pair that I have exact to the minute is: Mercury/MC = NN/MC in my 11th house at 4.6 Libra. Oh,that's cnj my Destiny asteroid! I only recently looked into that asteroid. Funny timing. There are a few clusters within 30' that I find revealing. One is in my 1st house at 8 Sco: Venus/NN = Mercury/Pluto = Saturn/Neptune. (They opp my Chiron, but the orb is over a degree.) A few others I strongly identified with: Moon/Chiron = Venus/Neptune (Cancer 8th, Cap 2nd) Venus/Uranus = Sun/Neptune (Sag 2nd) Sun/Mercury = Uranus/Neptune (Sag 2nd) Btw, we have some sick synastry. Your Moon cnj my SN and your Sun cnj my Asc. Makes sense that my brother picked up a similar vibe from you. IP: Logged | |
