Lioness - Could you try to explain to me what kinds of personality traits make a man a "bad boy" in your eyes and how it is - these traits also mean -- that he has a strong ego?

I'm not asking this to be a pest. I genuinely think we either have very different things in mind when we think "bad boy" -- or our ideas of what makes for a *strong* ego - are different. So I'm just curious.

Here is one example..
In my version.. a person with a strong ego does not require constant attention and constant affirmation.
Part of my "bad boy" definition is that they "pick up" (have sex with, date etc) a chain of women.. in order to re-assert their masculinity and patch-up their (often rusty) self esteem.

If they had a strong ego - they simply wouldn't need that.. or that much of it.
They'd have their on self-love mechanism.

I'm the same when it comes to non-conformity.
But I don't call these people "bad" - I call them "like minded" lol

I guess something becomes "bad" in my book when it either has no purpose/impact whatsoever, or when it has a negative impact. So, rebelling senselessly "without a cause".. *or* rebelling for a reason I'd see as morally dubious (either because it causes more harm than good -- in ones own life or in the lives of others, or both)

Strong Ego... Too strong is alot of men try to contol me or over power me.. I have lots of power issues with me.. More so when I was younger, I have learned to show, right off the bat that I will not be controlled or over powered, this as pretty much ended the extreme power struggles cause those guys just go away. The stronger the ego the more he is attracted to me... LOL
(My Pluto conj DC) WITH MAJOR TEMPERS..

I have Venus Sq Pluto so I can never underestimated my lovers... Very intense guys, not sure how to handle their emotions..

Bad Boys - To a sense they are emotionally unavailable, the more unavailable they are, the more I want them... Hey my Aries Asc loves that challenge of catching them. If Im not challenged, I'm bored, and I just go away...
these men are some what rebellious, but not necessary in the law type of way...
More of a free spirit rebellion.
Against society rules, against religion...
I do my own thing, type of personality.

Im a free spirit, so Im ok with this part, it's interesting...

Oh OK - I get you.

The first part -- I'm not attracted to unavailable men at all, because I'm extremely lazy romantically. (My Sun is Aries but my chart is very earthy) lol
I can see how this ^ would make them "bad" though.

But the second part of that - I love people who have a free spirit. Like I said, they are people I see as "like minded".. not "bad".

I get it. That's the way I feel. (being 'rebellious' or whatever, just for the sake of it - trying to be bad/impress. Someone I know can be like that, not realizing that it was a turn-off for me - I liked them when they weren't trying so hard to be different.)

Guys who want to be trouble? As in, bringing more drama into my life when it isn't needed - keep the girl on an emotional roller coaster, because she'll love you for it, crap ? Trying to be a stud? No. I don't like it. I need someone with my best interests at heart. I turned off Jude Law's "Alfie", because I couldn't stomach him anymore, halfway through the movie.

When it comes to someone who does something, to deliberately go against the grain of something that goes against social conformity - see above. If they're living their lives in their own way, and not hurting anyone, fine. If they're trying to keep me emotionally invested, whilst wanting to be emotionally-free themselves, well.. no way. I don't 'do' harems or polyamory. That type of thing.

Is your Uranus in Sag? "Free Spirit" and "against religion" sounds pretty saggy-like.

I have Uranus in the 7th and a Sag DC... with Venus square Uranus.

I am also attracted to unavailable men, or men who don't follow the status quo in some way, often is Sagittarian ways... with their philosophies and ideas, bucking the system... etc. Though oddly I don't actually get along very well with people with personal planets in Sag. They either annoy me or we have nothing in common. Maybe cos I have so much Cancer/Capricorn?

I don't know if this counts as "exciting" but I have a lot of hard Pluto aspects in my chart, with 8th house Mars/Neptune. I've had a history of attracting dangerous/manipulative men.

Hey Glaucus, what do you suppose it means when Nessus doesn't aspect ANYTHING in a chart? Just not important?

I don't think it's important because Nessus is one of the minor planets.
