This calls loudly for aCOMPARISON-CHART-CONTEST!!!! Who is going to have the best synastry with Mr Butler? Spanky? Or Belgz? (of course we all know it would be me, but I am actually glad he finally stopped stalking me spiritually, and I do not want to tear open his freshly healed wound of my rejection ).
So Spanky, Belgz, are you up to it? Best synastry contest? IP: Logged |

Diablo,I started reading them in English with the 4th one I think. Made it hard to keep my mouth shut, as my aunt wanted to wait for the German version. I love books, too. As a matter of fact I don`t know where to put them anymore. So many books (and DVD`s.) Plane old me: Maybe I should change my name into Jane Eyre? She was plain, wasn`t she? At least considered herself that way. And she was in the educating-business like me. lol Sure what other choice do us plain people have?

DD, you have such a sweet and kind face that is totally consistent with your online personality. There is nothing plain about you, your face looks like it knows so much and can convey such emotion and expression. You remind me of one of my friend's from uni, Hande who's just awesome to hang out with, talk, have a laugh with. I think your curly hair is cute Taurus Venus & Libra Moon..I see the true beauty in everything, i'm afraid and I'd much rather hang out with you talking about books than some vapid, airhead soulless bimbo. True fact.I think I read those books at least 5-10x each lol..I love my books, its my escape whether it'd be something epic like Harry Potter, Frued's or Jung's or whoevers writings or something cheap n nasty like Jackie Collins (LOVE her haha) I can read a little German, my psycho ex's parents were German and had a lot of German books (and DVD's) in the house (as his father was an avid collector and hobbiest of movies and old school movie posters) and they spoke German all the time so I would grab a book and start attempting to read it, asking his parents who to pronounce or word words I couldn't quite get and slowly, slowly I would understand. Too bad we broke up hahaha In fact, one of my top, all time movies is Der Untergang (that's Downfall in English, right?)..I loved watching that movie listening to the German dialogue, in fact I hardly read the subtitles hahaha It was so authentic and real. My GOD i LOVED Christmas in that house, gingerbread houses, the tree with the ornaments from Germany and the other ornaments that are put up...no one does Christmas like Germans lol. If I ever have a white Christmas, I'm going to Berlin hehehe I feel a real connection to Germany and German culture (and i'm greek lol). I lived in a German household for 2.4yrs where I ate German food, German was the first language spoken (between the parents) and all the furniture and set up of the house was like a German house in Berlin or something. I must have had past lives there, for sure without a doubt. Amowls: hmm it could possibly be a Cancerian with an air influence with a dash of earth and fire to balance things up lmao IP: Logged |

DD, you aren't plain. I was looking at the pictures of the lovely ladies here, and thinking again, what I'd told my sister last night: I regret not having as much fun dressing up over the years. I didn't see the point, since I wasn't much of a party girl (I was self-conscious, and didn't want to attract too much attention to myself.) IP: Logged |

Diablo,"you have such a sweet and kind face that is totally consistent with your online personality." That is so nice of you to say. Really makes me smile. And then there is this little sarcastic voice inside me, still, saying: "Great, I am a teddybear!". lol I actually think that even if I lost all those kilos as if by magic overnight, and even if I suddenly developed a talent for make up and getting a haircut, I still would be a teddybear. It is strange, I never had any thoughts about this for many years, but just lately I feellike I want to be a bit more "shallow"; sometimes I regret never have been "girly". *sighs* But I guess there are always things we regret. I just never thought that I would regret my absence of fashion-awareness. " There is nothing plain about you, your face looks like it knows so much and can convey such emotion and expression." Thanks again. ACtually my best friend often voiced her surprise at that, in the beginning when we became friends, and now and then even today tells me that I have a "telling face". Apparently my face very often shows all my thoughts and emotional involvement. Oh and of course I tend to grimace a lot. I noticed that it even happens when I am sitting in musical concerts. For some reason, as I cannot answer loudly as it would disturb the show, my face starts "answering" those things that are being said or sung. I guess this might be a reason I manage to draw attention to me even while sitting in the audience. lol
"Taurus Venus & Libra Moon" I like that combo, very aesthetical in a natural way (especially the Taurus-one). Fits mine pretty well. Capricorn Venus and Aquarius Moon. I am just the more "un-personal" type I guess.
"I'd much rather hang out with you talking about books" Oh yes, that would be AWESOME. Actually I thought that several times during the last weeks, when talking on the forum here, how much I would like some of us to gather and have a real fun night. Would be amazing I think!
I am all for a meeting in London - seems to be reachable from all points. " love my books, its my escape" Yes definitely. Sometimes when I surface from a book again, I am feeling disoriented, as if I had lost my own timeframe for a while. I actually developed a weird obsession / liking for trash mystery novels. Like by Lara Adrian or Lori Handeland. No clue where that came from all at once, just happened 2 years ago. "I can read a little German" Das ist toll.
"In fact, one of my top, all time movies is Der Untergang (that's Downfall in English, right?)" I think so. I actually have never seen it. It just feels much too close. Not just because of my nation`s history, but because of my familie`s history and I have been having some nasty flashbacks / dreams, which seemed to be past life memories, and it was really nasty. " gingerbread houses, the tree with the ornaments from Germany and the other ornaments that are put up" Yes, love that too.
"...no one does Christmas like Germans lol. If I ever have a white Christmas, I'm going to Berlin hehehe" Yes, do that. I was in Berlin spending new years eve 2007-2008 there, and they have the tallest christmas tree at the station, all covered with Swarovsky crystals. That was so AWESOME. We were standing there just staring at the tree for a long time.
"I feel a real connection to Germany and German culture (and i'm greek lol)" I always felt this connection to Greece. How strange. Yet I think this connection I feel is more to ancient Greece.
Anyway, you could look up GERMANIA in your chart, and I am sure there will be an asteroid with the name BERLIN, too. Why did you live in Germany?

Teasel,I didn`t see your picture. I never have been a partygirl myself either. Something that I kind of regret a little bit now. But I guess it is a little bit too late for that at the tender age of 35 now. lol

Same here.My mum always told me one day I would regret not having gone out (the other thing she often told me was that I never would get a man, if I stayed as fat as I was. - I guess it became a selffulfilling prophecy). I didn`t think I would one day. But then again back then being on parties was torture for me. I just didn`t understand what it was all about.
Hmm, maybe we should make a club of 35 year old learning to party. Like a Self-aid-group. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Teasel. But there is no reason to be shy about your pics. You look pretty in a deep way. Actually my first thought was: She has soul. And I like that range of expression. From the reflective, rather somber vibes in the 2008 pic, to the illuminating smile in the 2001 one. OH and you were an adorable child! That is actually one reason why I like to see pics from the Lindalanders. Because of the "expressionness".
