I have never been in love with him the way I have been with some other guys.

He on the other hand would have died for me but I ruined that over the years because I never respected him enough. Times have changed I have matured and learnt to respect his love and patience with me and because I appreciate him more is why I stick to him but it isn't neccessarily love.

The first 7 years or so of us dating he was crazy about me.. so much to the point that he did everything I wanted and became very easy and boring for me. I regret it and wish I met him now rather than later but I know he still loves me just not "in love" anymore because the heart racing and butterflies eventually die out. Sad thing is I never felt that way for him because I didn't fear losing him ever (which is bad, but it's the truth).. To me he is just the ideal husband and father, and his years of patience made me trust him. I feel like we're family more than lovers if that makes sense...?

So Valentine must work for him or the person who is linked to the asteroid planet??

Valentine and Amor conjunct someone else`s Venus definitely sounds very lovely and loving. Agreed.
I always love to find these three together in a synastry, composite or Draco chart.

I know that some people say you can`t compare Solar Arc with someone else`s natal.
But I just don`t see why this is not possible.

If the Solar ARc represents something I become for a certain time, experience I make, then this might as well influence other people around me.

I even have a good example for this.
When this man came into my life, this long lasting crush, and in the wake of it the fundament to my spiritual path has been layed, there were strong relations to his chart.

Of course I had fitting solar arcs on my own.

SA Neptune conjuncts my Sun and Mercury
SA Venus conjunct my Sun/Moon-mp and Antivertex
Sa Mars conjunct my Sun/Venus-mp
SA Uranus exactly squaring my Moon
SA NN almost exactly conjunct my Sun

Of course I was completely changed during that time.

Anyway, the synastry between his SA and my natal was interesting, and he was JUST a crush.

his SA Saturn square my ASC (very karmic, and probably descriptive of the onesidedness of this crush; well I hadn`t even met him at that time. lol)

his SA Uranus squrae my Mercury

his SA Neptune conjunct my Neptune and NN

his SA Pluto conjunct my Midheaven
his SA Pluto square my Venus

his SA Chiron square my Venus

There were also some trines, but I just looked for the hard ones; naturally this led to a spiritually intense experience for me, but as you can see it was not without pain.

I am actually a bit clueless towards Valentine.
IQ and others swear on its strong effects, I am open to it, but, hmm, I am not completely convinced.
Usually it SHOULD have been you experiencing VAlentine-like feelings with your Valentine on his ASC (after all it was YOUR Valentine that was being triggered), but you say it didn`t work for you. *shrugs* So I don`t know.
Maybe Valentine isn`t the "weak knees"-kind of affection after all?
I just don`t know. I really don`t know about this asteroid. Sorry.

I did a short rundown through my preliminary classification system - just counting aspects, not even really weighing them (you know conjunction against trine and so on).

Funny I have more friendship aspects!!
He was my best friend before we started dating but he won't be "just" friends he says he can't be or accept me as his friend because there are apparently alot of boundaries I must not cross and I am too talkative and open about things and he doesn't like that.

Do you think overall our ratings are good?

I think that sometimes compatibility just isn't enough though. More important you need to have the same ideals and goals.

For example I am in a relationship through thick and thin. He would need to kill me before I leave him and Ferdi is that way too. I find that quality more important than us being able to talk for hours or having fun all the time because it assures me that he won't astray and Ferdi is just like that. If he were someone who gave up easily and couldn't get through the relationship we would have never lasted.

I think what i'm writing doesn't make sense LOL.... but we stick to each other and we don't fall apart.. or we do but when it crashes I change something and try something else. When we broke up this year it was a huge arguement and if I had a gun I would've killed him but then a few weeks later I figured I missed him so I rang him up and sang him a song on the phone to make him laugh and we are now friends again but still kinda together just in an open relationship now (t. Uranus on my DC)

That explains why there is such a huge difference in this area for the both of you.

Hmm, since yours was the first I analyzed this way, I have no idea.
But I think that there is a strong connection between you, though not always an easy one. Many of these aspects were challenging ones. But you also had nice harmonious ones. I guess it is a mix, which I prefer for any relationship. Only trines would bore most people to death,only squares is much too hard work I guess.

Yes, It hink that is VERY important. People seem to underestimate this in relationships thinking Love will find a way.
But if your "life-scripts" are very different and neither of you are really ready to modify these, then you might not end up together, not happily at least, no matter how strong and passionate the attraction might be!
This is why I included the Midheaven here in my synastric analysis. I put it into the first category along with Sun and Mercury, as I think these might show if you can "work" together, not just in a professional sense, but also in the sense if you are able to build a life together, to negotiate with each other, to come to an agreement. Of course that is not very romantic though.

Yes, I think this kind of compatibility is the basic one, and this one is being found in the natals rather than in a synastry chart alone.

Let`s say you value commitment and stability and predictability very much. But your lover needs his freedom, comes and goes whereever he wants. (I am not referring to you specifically here ).
I doubt this relationship would work out (if the two people are extremes in their needs for predictability vs. excitement), no matter if there is a Venus-Mars conjunction.
The synastric aspects would probably make them fall into a relationship and then waking up they have to realize that it just doesn`t work in ordinary life. And then we could have a "I can`t live with you- can`t live without you" dynamic.
Or one person will be rather unhappy, because their needs are not being met.

and yes .. I have T. pluto opposing mars now and last year I had SA pluto=mars...

and the open relationship has always worked for me just never for him, he's coming to terms with it now that I should be allowed to date other people if me and him don't work out but yet we're not much different to how we were before. I date other guys now but I just don't tell him because he prefers it that way.

Hs Aquarius moon and 11th house Sun is a load of BS if you ask me. He is too Taurean

I guess we're trying to seperate by being in an open relationship (without having to never talk again because we can't seem to do that) but I just can't find someone who I can be with long term, I find plenty I can string along and playgames with but none that are worthy of my time or a proper relationship.

To me he is a great guy (though not compatible with me in any way) and the opposite of me. Very FIXED won't BUDGE type and my Gemini moon wants someone who is mutable like me. I meet those "mutable" type of guys all the time but they're just not stable in relationships and I sense that straight away after they tell me they're longest relationship is 6 months!

BTW you asked if your scores were alright.
I did the same categorization with Paul NEwman and Joanne Woodward. I think what worked for them should work for everyone. I mean, who can beat 50 years of marriage?

So far I have the feeling as if 15 points may be good average, and everything of 20 and more points is very high.

But comparing both synastries I find that these two have much more harmonious aspects between their charts than you, even though some challenging ones pop up, too.

Of cours after this rough draft, we would have to differentiate how many of these aspects are being made by personal planets, and how many are being made by transpersonal planets.

Yep...especially with Sedna square Midheaven in my Solar Return.

I attract somebody very strong in Sedna energy - a woman with very strong Sun-Earth-Sedna Node alignment

Transiting Sedna was opposing my Venus in 21'47 Scorpio when I met her too.

Currently transiting Sedna is opposing my Geocentric South Venus Node in 22'32 Scorpio.

Sedna is in 22'27 Taurus right now.

I use just an orb of 1/2 degree applying and 15 minutes of arc separating.

currently my Solar Arc Venus is in conjunction to my geocentric South Jupiter Node with 16 minutes of arc applying. That could be love,relationship,partnership involving past collective expansion,judgment. I have Venus trine Jupiter in my current Solar Return period.
