"I love my feelings, as long as they don't get too heavy" Yes exact this is also true about gemini moon . One another side.

My ex had a Gemini Moon, and that seems pretty accurate for her as well. She had some heavy depression sometimes...and actually quite often.

I love Mamma Mia! Soz, but I love ABBA. All my friends are rolling their eyes at me, but I am not budging!

This is the type of thing that Benedict Moon was referring to in another thread. I have so many things aspecting my Moon and Venus in Gemini, that it feels weird when I reach a real detachment - good, depending on the situation - but not good if it's a total detachment. I don't know how to explain it to anyone who hasn't experienced it. I love my feelings, as long as they don't get too heavy (they have been, recently).

I don't have a gemini moon, but I have a Virgo Moon and Gemini Venus and would love to figure out some 'normal emotions' instead of the extremes of severe moods and complete detachment. Meh, I dunno what I'm getting at here...

Sorry to hijack your thread, Gemini Mooners, but I have two siblings with this placement and I feel like the square between their moons and mine (in Virgo) is the most constant problem theme in our relationship.Im just curious though if any of you have working relationships with Virgo Mooners, and how you overcome the glaring differences? I find we have the same intellectual interests, but their extroversion greatly clashes with my introverted tendencies...among other things.

Lol I have Virgo rising so I don't have issues with Virgo moons but I can help you maybe if your a bit more specific with what your issues are??

My ex was Virgo rising and Virgo moon and we did think exactly the same we never had issues with each other .. Ever.

Like I said that may be due to my ascendant I appreciate Virgo characteristics.

Starkiss,

I have actually seen Mamma Mia as a musical. It was pretty good.
But then again, I also love ABBA.

Yeah, I think having other planets in the other sign would help. I have a gemini venus so it isn't always bad, but when it is...its ugly.

I think the main issue is that each one of us feels the other is selfish because of the traits we don't share in common, and therefore can't empathise with. Por example, my sister thinks I'm being selfish when I become a hermit and hole up in my room, not wanting to talk to anyone. Meanwhile, I think she's being selfish for demanding my talking presence 24-7. I can't be my Gemini Venus ALL the time...LOL.

She also has mars in gemini conjunct her moon, so it may explain why she shows some of these traits very aggressively.

I have this issue with my mum. She's got Venus in Gemini too as well as sun and mercury. I just don't get why when were trying to make her happy and save her from her misery ( she looks miserable to

DD, I am relieved I am not the only lover of ABBA! I think they are fantastic when it comes to rhythm combined with their melodics and words. It's a winning combination. It's classic.

Ouch, things sound really rough with your mom. That kind of rejection is sad.

I realize I have two sides, probably represented by the sign square of my Gemini Venus and Virgo Moon. A part of me wants to go out when I get the occasional cabin fever, but then the other part of me needs to retreat for a while when I've been around too many people. That's where the misunderstanding between me and my siblings come in. Perhaps they see that as misery too.

My brother has gemini moon and has good attention span.
The one thing I've noticed about Gemini moon is their inability to handle emotions, feel emotions and be emotional. Passionate is not something they excel at lol

omg, I was just thinking about how lately I just can't deal with long things to read, which is so not my norm. I become really impatient and just skim it.

I also can't deal with writing out long things either. Sometimes I don't even want to write anything even though I have a lot to say.

My p. moon is in gemini!! I wonder if this is the reason, because it has been fairly recent.

PS -- I only read like 3 of the posts on this thread, lol!!

OK, I just went and read past the first 3 posts and two things popped out.

1. GLaucus's gemini degrees are exactly where my p. moon is right now. No idea what that would mean.

2. DD feels the same and she is about to go into gem p. moon.

3. I actually abbreviate everything and anything I can lately and I never did that before. I just can't stand writing stuff out either.

Hmmmm.....

Passion is no problem, with Aries and Scorpio mixed in.

For me, there has been a hesitancy to really let anyone in, though - as an adult. Over the past few years, here and there, I've just admitted to a few people that I know I'm hard to get to know, and apologized for that... the more they stick around (should they want to), the more they get to know me, as trust builds. (Ever since Mars was in Leo for an extended period of time, I've been more open - actually, over the past two years, I've eased into it).

I can be "intense" (that word makes me want to roll my eyes, at times, but it's true). I prefer to keep things light, with most people. I don't know how to explain it right now.. I'll be back.

(By the way, hi Lara. I was thinking about you yesterday.)

*edit. LOL Diana. I miss my attention span.

My love interest has Gemini Moon. But his Moon is trine Saturn, which lends a hand in being far less airy and spacy. He also has Cancer ASC. and his Moon is in the 12th H, so it can be hard to really see a more emotional side, unless he feels comfortable enough to let his guard down (usually at home). But he is definitely a bit smart assy, not particularly to me though, he's also got a stellium in the 5th with a Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Scorpio, which totally conflicts with that light hearted Gemini Moon. Either way, he is a talented writer and in general quite savvy in Mercurian attributes, he also has Mercury in Virgo in the 3rd, need I say more?

I can't sit the whole two hours in a cinema just watching a movie.

LOL Belgz

My Mum has a Gemini moon (and Jupiter & NN in Gemini). At the cinema - she won't stop talking. She asks questions and constantly comments throughout the movie. It's too funny.

Like.. 10 minutes into the movie...

"Why did he do THAT?"

"Mum, I don't know. No one knows. Wait for it!" lol

"But it just doesn't make sense. I don't get why he'd do that."

"Mum, we'll find out by the end of the movie!"

I'm probably the laziest typer here lol I never add apostrophes or commas because I don't like having to give extra time and detail, I just want to type quickly and get to something else. Luckily now my phone corrects everything for me..

I don't usually talk at the cinemas but I play with my phone at the same time or walk to the bathroom and go wash my hands or something. I can't settle down at the click of a finger. I need to ease into it and it can take an hour or so. There are some movies that can get my attention throughout the whole movie.

I think I don't do emotions well either. I don't like kissing and hugging either and I don't like sleeping next to anyone in bed other than my cat. Even if it were Gerard butler and I had one night with him we have to sleep in different beds because I don't like anyone getting too close. Same applies for when I go out to coffee I hate if my partner glues himself to me or wants to sit next to me. Makes me wanna scream and push them away. Sometimes my ex Taurus sun loves to come and hold me down and try and kiss me but I prefer mental stimulation not physical. This means foreplay for me is roleplaying and flirting constantly throughout the day. No touching and kissing unless it's on my own terms. I like to come and hug or kiss if I feel okay to do it and that's just a quick kiss and then I run the other direction

I have Saturn and Pluto trine my moon too and it doesn't have a stabilizing effect on me. :/

My brother who has aqua sun has moon in Gemini too like me but he's more emotional with his girlfriend. He has Venus in Pisces though while mine is in Leo. I think he likes affection more than I do but he's just like me in public or around other people.

I have three planets in cancer and I think my Gemini moon overrides all of my other planets. Oh and one big major thing in my life is I don't go to funerals. You might be right Lara I don't do emotions well at all! I didn't go when my dads mum and aunty passed away. I wont even talk to my friend if she's crying until she stops crying and talks rationally.

I have a friend who has moon in cancer in it's own sign and she's a fruit loop and crazy at times. Where is the moon happy?

I've noticed that I have trouble being consoled... unless someone is there at the point when I'm most upset (before wanting to shut down), or if I'm in a more conversational mood, and can talk about something to a point.

Right now, I'm in that weird detached frame of mind that I'm not keen on, that has me ready to deal with someone being a smart a** (just an example at the moment), so that I don't crumple. I've done too much crying this year, and find that I'm developing more of an attitude (ever since Mars was in Leo, actually...). The thing is, it can be so easy for me to get so far this way, only to crumple (my Moon also has a square from Mars in Pisces). One wrong word catches me, and there's a sputter before the tears flow, and someone's surprised. I remember arguing with an authority figure when I was younger, the tears flowing freely.. they later confessed that they hadn't thought I'd take it so badly.

I have Moon in Taurus but I behave the same way you described. I just can't force myself to be patient and concentrated on a task-if it's too long or if I find something to be boring. I really do try but my mind won't listen so I have to read articles, replies, chapters of the books over an over again.lol Or I don't listen what people are saying, I just shut myself off. It's kind of frustrating and exhausting having such a short attention span.

One of my closest cousins has a Gem Asc, Libra Moon.
I hate speaking with her on the phone, she never stops talking and interupts constantly.
IM-ing her is also a nightmare. She asks something, and while you are thinking or replying, she is already talking about something else, which makes the whole conversation confusing.

I've never tried watching a movie with her.
I don't think I ever will.

I've figured out the best form of communication is email. This way I can get out everything I need to say, without interruption.
Then she replies back, "turn on your IM!"
frustrating. I love her to death though.

I just read your first post belgz (my attention span was gone by the time I got to the end post- just to show you how short it is) and I have a... Taurus Moon lol.

BUT.. My Chart ruler is Mercury and he is in Sag, the ruler of my Sun is the 3rd house in Sag, My moon is in the 11th opposite Uranus.

I have been diagnosed with ADHD (which I'm learning to accept without using meds. lol) and I never finish projects- if I do it's a big deal! And right now I have about 10 going on at the same time... LOL. (and I made a commitment to finish them... we'll se how well that goes. LOL

Reading a book? What's reading? lol

I can't sit thru movies... I don't make commitments to stay at parties for long periods of time. When I would drive across the country (United States from Ohio to Colorado... I would stop from 10-15 times.

BUT I guess this is were my Taurus moon kicks in... I never forget what people say...

I have a tendency to interrupt, as well... but only with people that I know well. I then apologize and ask them to please continue (occasionally before interrupting again, followed by another apology. ) That tends to be on my more hyper days...

racole: my Dad has Mars conjunct Mercury in Aries, and he's only ever read two books as an adult. He can't sit still for long... he's a Taurus/Taurus/Sadge. When we were at the funeral on Monday, mum was concerned that he wouldn't last long through the service - that he would get up and start pacing. He gavea little wave to people who had made it on time, and was fidgeting... he admitted that if the guy had gone on much longer, he would have got up.
