Do you guys have problems reading LONG DETAILED things?Or is your attention span about 5 seconds? I really have issues reading long replies and as much as I want to I just can't do it, I avoid them or scan through for interesting words or sentences that might get my attention. Sometimes I wish I had my moon in Taurus.
I clicked on a thread from someone on LLC2 and it was half a book! How do people get interested enough to sit there and read that? I don't even comment on threads after 10 people have got to it before me because it requires me to pay attention to keep up with where everyone is at with it... To make things worse my progressed moon is in Gemini now too Are we like the worst moon sign?

Dear Belgz I think Gemini is a hard place for the moon. The moon is comfortable with a more relaxed ,quiet energy. I think Gemini moon would be a placement that would require effort to overcome it's nature like a square versus a trine. I have Saturn in the first house . This feels like climbing a mountain I climb and climb and sometimes I rest and look back and see that I DID make progress . Prolly, the moon in Gemini is the same--in the sense of having to overcome the natural tendancies of Gemini in this placement. Is that WHY you don't respond to my threads They ARE long lol. x o x Ami ------------------ Hermes made me do it. IP: Logged |

Belgz I feel your pain. I have a Gemini Moon and my attention span is very short. I get bored easy and I am impatient too. I have my Gemini Moon in the 12th house which isn't easy. I feel the need to communicate my feelings, but I sometimes find it hard. I tend to feel nurtured writing, reading or doing something with electronics. IP: Logged |

Moon located between 13 and 14 degrees Gemini will be very restless That's where the Heliocentric North Uranus Node was at for most people. The Geocentric Uranus nodes have been moving between 13 and 16 degrees Gemini,Sagittarius. ------------------ Raymond Andrews, President,Executive Director of Developmental Neurodiversity Association Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |

Lol... I don't even write long threads or long replies myself I like to get straight to the point and straight to the answer. Sometimes things really interest me and I still don't read EVERY word.
My moon is accentuated on my mc in the ninth house, I think that house rules the conscious or higher mind and it tires me out! I require mental stimulation almost all the time with everything.

My roommate is a Gem Moon and can't sit still through movies. We saw Inception last night and she didn't like it because it's 2 1/2 hours long. She has a Taurus Mars though so she chills when she drives (which drives my Sag Mars crazy because I drive like its a competition).IP: Logged |

My attention span is a lot shorter than it used to be.. I used to be able to lose myself in certain things, and what my mother called "a busy little bee", when I wasn't absorbed in reading a book (after exhausting myself elsewhere), or drawing. I hardly ever finish things now - it's annoying. I used to sit still through movies, but now I'm like amowls' friend: I'm always pausing after a while, so that I can get up to do something else I've thought of. Love the LOLcat, by the way. Hahhahahaha my ex complained for years that he hates going movies with me because I can't sit the whole two hours in a cinema just watching a movie. At some point I will want to get up and go do something but luckily now, thanks to technology I can play on my phone and occupy myself as well as watch the movie. We rented out a movie called Australia and it goes for three hours. It took me two days to finish watching it because I kept getting up and doing other things even though I was interested. It`s interesting. I usually love long replies and write them myself I fear, but lately I sometimes feel a bit of impatience, too. Not if a subject interests me, then I can read a dozen pages and I will not be bored. But if I am not fully in it, I start skimming (and missing some parts) the pages, too. Also replying faster than I can think. lolInterestingly my pr Moon is in Taurus, but will soon leave that sign and move into Gemini. Maybe that is why? I hope this reply was not too long. Regarding movies. Yes, I HATE plays or movies that have more than 1.5 hours. Seeing Hamlet was torture for me. 3 hours and 15 minutes! JEEZ! Anyway there was something that got me planted in my seat, but even with that in mind, I started getting very restless in the second act and just wanted it to be over. Didn`t keep me from seeing it once again the next night though.

Actually I have that movie "Australia" laying around here somewhere. Never watched it. I mean, c`mon you said THREE hours? And then at other times I can get so sucked into things that I completely immerse myself and forget time.

I may not have a Gemini moon but I do have my Sun and Mars in the 3rd house on the Gemini/cancer cusp. My sun also aspects my Neptune which is in the 9th house of higher learning and publishing soooo I suspect I'll be a writer at some point in my life, maybe through writing thesis's and doing research for Psych/med journals and considering the Neptunian fantasy/illusion element thrown in there, I suspect a fictional book or 2 as well lolI got a Libra moon so I do have an intense appreciation of the arts, no matter what form and that's basis of my degree, an arts degree in the social science branch. I love to write, I love to read and challenge myself. I can absorb information like a black hole and can organise it efficiently. I'll spend hours researching anything that interests me so I got a wide general knowledge on a lot of stuff.."Jill of all subjects (not trades), master of none" is the Gemini saying, I believe. Hell, I study human behaviour through interaction with each other and their environment, communication is going to be my business one day considering I'm studying it at academic level. Doesn't get more Gemini than that. But considering its on the Gemini/Cancer cusp, I'm studying human emotions and reactions, and Cancer's are quite exceptional at that. Despite being such a nerd, I do lose interest when its mindless crap that is of no intellectual quality, like reality TV or just TV in general. That's the Libra moon, I only like intellectual pursuits that are of quality and am quite a snob when it comes to that lol For instance (i'm gonna get a lot of haters over this), while I loved the whole story behind Twilight, I actually thought the style and quality of writing was quite crap, in fact it was quite sh1thouse and found myself quite bored reading 10th grade dialogue for 10pgs just to get to something. Whereas Harry Potter I read the books about 10x each. But I still love my Jackie Collins LOL Shhh! IP: Logged |

I didn't mind the first Twilight book - I had a bad cold, and felt grateful for an easy read (although the Cullens being Perfection Personified, really grated on me). I gritted my teeth through the rest of the books, just to see what the fuss was about, only to be disappointed when it came to the one thing I'd been curious about in the last book - I can't go into what annoyed me (more than love triangles, which meant that it really ticked me off), because it would be a spoiler.IP: Logged |

Hahaha... I've had a lot of Gemini Moon friends (they seem to enjoy my Aries Moon) and none of them seem to like reading. They are too active and seem like they need to constantly move. My Aqua friend with the Gemini Moon had his sun progress into Pisces a few years ago, and this is what he said after it happened: "I just don't understand it. All of a sudden I actually want to READ! I hate reading!" The only Gemini Moon I know that likes to read has a Virgo Sun. IP: Logged |

LOL @ "Australia" .. at that time I was veru interested in Australia's history and was planning a trip to Ayers Rock. You know I have hundreds of books and I think I have read them about 10 times each. 80% are related to Astrology 10% philosophy and the rest is books on psychology, religions, Feng shui, Sprititual stuff. I love books that get me somewhere. I HATE novels and stories. I can read astrology books for hours and hours because it stimulates my mind and gets me curious. I love books on travel as well. I used to write alot and now I type alot. In saying that I write a paragraph and come back to it 2 hours later then type something again. It's never consistent. I jump topics very quickly and I become impatient with people who take foever to tell a story or incident. I hate sitting here correcting my typos as well and adding commas and full stops. It gets me annoyed doing all the little details. I am also not a great listener because I'm a problem solver, I seem to think I have solutions for everything in my head and it's usually about "change". I need to just hear in one sentence what the issue is and I have a hundred ways of overcoming it. IP: Logged |

I too have a Gemini Moon, mine is conjunct in Saturn in my 10th house. My mind does go a million miles a minute, however, I think my frustration lies in a lot of times I don't explore all that I would like as Saturn is always on the other side keeping my thinking inside the box when many times I so want to be outside the box!IP: Logged |

@ enchantress299I have a Gemini Moon with a Virgo Sun and I do love to read. I seem to hold the opposite virtues of the majority of other Gemini Moons here. I have huge reserves of patience, I love to read, I can sit through 3 hours of films plays with no problems. I do however, enjoy learning about or doing several things at once. I would also agree with one of the earlier posts that Gemini is a difficult placement to have in a Moon. IP: Logged |

I actually love to read, but I've had trouble with my attention span for several years now. I need to feel physically and mentally relaxed, to be able to really take something in... my Sun is in Aries - I ever thought of myself as athletic, but I used to enjoy swimming, skipping, things of that nature. That plus my drawing, is probably what left me feeling so laid-back during those years. I'm not happy with several things in my life at the moment, so that adds to the antsy feeling. I used to lose myself in drawing/painting - so much that I'd come out of 'the zone' with painful muscles from having worked so long, without paying attention to anything but what I was working on. I miss that! IP: Logged |

I'm the same way, but no Gemini Moon. Virgo Moon here, and lots of Mutability in general. I like more efficient communication. IP: Logged |

I've my moon in GEMINI conj nessus in a t-square to merk/uran/kaali/pluto in virgo and saturn in pisces.I've hate my feelings in periods in my life and sometimes tried to press it away. Sometimes my feelings feel so strong pain and I couldn't understand where it comes from. When I was young I tried to not feel in anyway but I couldn't the life force me to feel the hard feelings and make me to do something to get it better. I'm happy I never used drugs. Today I see my destinn conj psyche in aqua trine my moon/nessus conj help me to listening on my deep moon/nessus. I also think the sext Sun/AC in leo help. When I looking backwards I dont want to be without my feelings and all the experience the life bring me. In the end the feelings always want the best if we not be afraid to meet them and really feel.... For me it seems like gemini moon is one of the hardest place to have a moon. Gemini not like feelings. IP: Logged |

This is the type of thing that Benedict Moon was referring to in another thread. I have so many things aspecting my Moon and Venus in Gemini, that it feels weird when I reach a real detachment - good, depending on the situation - but not good if it's a total detachment. I don't know how to explain it to anyone who hasn't experienced it. I love my feelings, as long as they don't get too heavy (they have been, recently). IP: Logged |

But, when Unpacking some of my boxes, found several DVD`s, that I haven`t seen either, including:- Star Trek: Nemesis - Mamma Mia - 300 - Hostage - Departed (well have seen this one on TV though. lol) Found out I own a LOT of astrology books. Was surprised to find HOW Many Terry Pratchett books I am owning, too. IP: Logged |
