OK, before I even start I understand the other signs placements and aspects make an impact and should be looked at. So lets just not go there O_OLooking it up on sites most of them don't know or talk of the other signs so for their cases it could be the Scorpio influence. But Libra the sign in general, would you say they are clingy, possessive, jealous or/and have a hard time letting go of someone they want/in love with? Or needy? ------------------ ~Believe~

I'd say quite the opposite. Libran's are known for hating confrontation and ugly disputes and for avoiding them at all costs. While they love to be in love, or even be in love with the idea of being in love..when it comes to the nitty gritty they may get a bit standoffish. It'd be the other planet/house placements that would give them staying power. But confrontations and disputes have nothing to do with being clingy, possessive, or jealous. O_O------------------ ~Believe~ IP: Logged |

Well, they kind of do... But no, they are not known to be confrontational at all.(even in private a Libra would rather just avoid you than deal with the real issues for fear of confrontation) Not really jealous either -- although they are prone to snobbery, condescending attitude, or vanity when showing their bad side. They CAN be clingy. They hate being alone and can be very dependent upon people for their happiness.(especially in relationships) They are the type that wants to do projects and go places together with you whenever they can. I know you don't want to investigate the other aspects, but no one can really help you see why this individual is displaying this kind of behavior purely on Sun Sign. Especially since the traits you listed are not typical for the sign at all. IP: Logged |

Starkiss, wouldn't that be the shadow of Libra? And its opposite is Aries..The only element of clinginess would be from the fact that Libra needs to be one halve of a whole, even when the r/ship cannot be fixed and the 2 ppl need to seperate Libra will cling as hard as they can to continue being 2 parts of a whole. I guess its Libra's lesson to learn who to become whole within themselves. IP: Logged |

Diablo, what do you mean by shadow of Libra? Like the other side of a coin? She is not clingy, she is the most awful tyrant, who exercises her "power" over everybody in the family to the point of all of us leaving her and cutting off the contact. She wants zombies, not family. IP: Logged |

Yep, that's exactly what I meant Hm well to me that sounds like the tyrant, dictating judge who has power over ppl's lives and uses it to toy with them. Judges and lawyers are ruled by Libra. IP: Logged |

From an old astrology book from the 80s (haha)"every sign has their seamy side, and the delightful Librans degenerate even as all the others. The negative Libran can be spineless, lacking direction and purpose. They are often accomplished liars, using the Libra glibness for misrepresentation and willful deceit. This type of Libran can fritter away a lifetime in self indulgence, pretense and lying. They go about with an air of fallen graces are far too rare for this base world. They themselves end up believing the airy fabric of their dreams, and the conscious lying and trickery that are part of this personality" About Libra moon (kinda sounds like how you describe your mum).. "one of the most serious conditions faced b the ppl with the moon posited in Libra is mental derangement brought on by inward feelings so strong the subject can no longer exercise control. Great grief, melancholy, jealousy, disappointment, or any of the major passions, allowed to take rot with silent power, can upset this type of mentality and cause serious mental disorders" Considering your mum is a sun libra, she'd be externalising this deranged quality towards the ppl in her life, it seems. Yep, she is bi polar and anything could trigger high or low episode. She could go on a rampage and murder a few of us and then be high as a kite. Or spend a few days in bed, sleeping and groaning. It was terrifying. Ami, still can't do it! IP: Logged |

transneptunian dwarf planet Eris has been in Aries for decades. Therefore, a lot of people that have planets in Libra will have an opposition to Eris. a good example is Al Sharpton who has Sun in Libra oppose Eris. He is a controversial civil rights leader. also the Nodes of Saturn and Pluto are located in Cancer/Capricorn Therefore, people with Libra planets might have their planets square those nodes I only use 2 degree orb for Saturn Nodes and 1 degree orb for Pluto Nodes. Transneptunian dwarf planet candidate Orcus has also been in Cancer in the 1970's. Therefore people with planets in Libra might have their planets square Orcus. That can be similar to having a square to Pluto. Orcus is a plutino - it has 3:2 orbital resonance with Neptune just like Pluto does. As a rule, plutinos are named after Underworld characters. Orcus was the Etruscan God of the Underworld. ------------------ Raymond Andrews, President,Executive Director of Developmental Neurodiversity Association Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |

Oh, so THAT explains my twisted sense of vigilante justice LOL But, if there's anything I would be..it'd be a controversial human rights fighter with very radical opinions. I was going to study law to facilitate this. Thanks Glaucus..that little snippet of info just made a lot of things come into sense IP: Logged |

Since you want to keep your answer general the answer is no. The sign Libra is none of those things. In general, Libra is NOT dependent. Now, if you want to loosen up the Sun sign generality a little, think of how Libra is right next to Scorpio and how the Sun, Mercury and Venus work together at all times. When the Sun is in Libra there is always going to be a strong chance that Mercury and/or Venus will be in Scorpio. Your chances of having jealous or possessive traits just got clicked up a few notches, especially if you consider the fact that Mercury is never more than 72 degrees away from the Sun at any time, you can have a person who is a 0.00 degree Libra Sun and Mercury can be deep into Scorpio. I could go on forever, but no, Libra in general is not But Libra the sign in general is not clingy, possessive, jealous or/and doesn't have a hard time letting go. IP: Logged |

good point My Aunt Dominga has Sun in Scorpio, but she has a Mercury-Venus conjunction in Libra.
I have Sun in Scorpio and Mercury-Venus conjunction in Scorpio. so both of my planets close to the Sun are in the same sign as my Sun.

I know a few Libras who're so in love with love...they dont really like committing. Committing (too much), means no more fun flirting around or basking in attention from admirers. My cousin & this guy I know are like that. They always have at least one (or few) backups...so once you get naggy (aka confrontational), boring, etc, they'll just 2-time on you, or even move on to the next. IP: Logged |

Libra like to be with their partner all the time, that doesn't sound clingy to any of you? And loves to be in relationships, that doesn't sound emotional dependent either?
