Natal: Saturn in Virgo 12°09'20 in house 11 direct Pluto Libra 17°46'27 in house 12 direct Sun Scorpio 17°14'09 in house 1 direct Saturn rules the 12th house (Libra) Pluto rules the 1st house (Scorpio) Could somebody please tell me what to expect with this transit? I did read that thread but I was hoping someone here could tell me what to expect specific to the houses mentioned above. I think based on which house Pluto is in and which house Saturn is transiting etc it is different for everyone. Maybe Coffee or Lonake or IQ or anyone else who knows how to read these transits could help? please. thanks in advance.IP: Logged |

Transiting Saturn conjunct natal Pluto tends to indicate dealing with issues involving control, powerin the 12th house, these issues are in the areas of matters dealing with the mystical, dreams, collective unconscious, institutions some say that the 12th house is the house of "serve or suffer" the house can be associated with selfless service some say that 12th house is the karmic house, and so that transiting Saturn conjunct natal Pluto in 12th house can indicate an extremely karmic time that involve paying off karmic debts in connected to pastlives. Noel Tyl believes that the 12th house is the house associated with chronic health problems. He would say that transiting Saturn conjunct Pluto in 12th could indicate a time of developing chronic health problems.
You can use the transit to develop your spirituality but be grounded and practical about it. Saturn transits have to do with being grounded and practical.
It can be a time for a reality checks as secrets are uncovered and forcing you face the facts.
Restrain any power urges and avoid misuse of power that could have you end up paying dearly with significant loss and suffering.
12th house is associated with institutions and this can include hospitals, prisons, and psychiatric facilities. 12th house is also associated with fears, anxieties, and phobias if there any problems in those areas, then transiting Saturn conjunct Pluto in 12th could indicate the need to confront those fears, anxieties, phobias due to an escalation. Perhaps an experience triggers them. It's definitely a time that you have to take good care of your mental health to avoid mental health problems, especially if other things support this like other transits, solar arcs, and secondary progressions as well as certain things in solar return. ------------------ Raymond Andrews, President,Executive Director of Developmental Neurodiversity Association Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement

I will give you interpretations for both Saturn in 12th and Saturn conjunct Pluto Transiting Saturn in 12th: This is likely to be a time when you are working behind the scenes in order to achieve your ambition in life. It is more of a private rather than a public time. For example, you may be engrossed the process of writing a book rather than at the stage of promoting or publishing it.
Transiting Saturn conjunct Natal Pluto: The earth moves during this transit. Areas of your life which you thought were stable and reliable start to change, putting everything in a new light. This can be a bit destabilising, particularly if you do not enjoy the challenge of the process of change. However, if you can steer a positive course, it is ultimately rewarding. This transit is good for clearing out the old in order to bring in the new, a bit like renovating an old house.

Glaucus, thank you so much.Just one more: what about Saturn transiting house 8 and Saturn conjunct natal Pluto (in Libra) in house 8. Since I'm Pluto in Libra, this is coming up for me soon. I don't know when exactly, but it's coming. I also have natal Pluto trine my Sun, Mars & Mercury (in house 1, Aquarius). What can I expect? Awaiting your reply. IP: Logged |

That transit seems like something to do with shared resources (2nd house from 7th house = other people's money),sexual matters. It also seems like financial transit. It might have something to do with credit, debt. IP: Logged |

Hi Glaucus, thank you for all your replies. you said: "transit seems like something to do with shared resources (2nd house from 7th house = other people's money), sexual matters. It also seems like financial transit. It might have something to do with credit, debt." Saturn is transiting my 8th house and will conjunct Pluto which is in my 8th house in Libra. So how do the 2nd and 7th houses apply? I apologise if I'm asking a dumb question, I really am quite a newbie w.r.t to astrology. Also if it does apply to financial matters, is that good or bad? and how would it apply to sexual matters? again is that good or bad? I read somewhere that Saturn does not create problems, it just exposes problems. So if you do everything right .. there won't be any trouble? Is that right or am I being incredibly naive? : IP: Logged |

"Saturn is transiting my 8th house and will conjunct Pluto which is in my 8th house in Libra. So how do the 2nd and 7th houses apply?"8th house is 2nd house from the 7th house. if you count 7th house as 1st house for partner, then you count 8th house as 2nd house for partner (the partner's money) "I apologise if I'm asking a dumb question, I really am quite a newbie w.r.t to astrology." There are no dumb questions. I really hate the word, "dumb" They say that the only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked. "Also if it does apply to financial matters, is that good or bad? and how would it apply to sexual matters? again is that good or bad?" It can be good. It can be bad. It depends on what the person does and how they react to situations that they encounter. 8th house is the house that is associated with both other people's money (including especially the partner's money) and sex. "I read somewhere that Saturn does not create problems, it just exposes problems. So if you do everything right .. there won't be any trouble? Is that right or am I being incredibly naive? :" It really depends on how astrologers interpret stuff. I also don't believe anything in astrology creates stuff. The saying "the stars impel..they don't compel" I believe that astrology works because of synchronicity and not cause and effect. Therefore, I don't say any heavenly body placement/alignment makes anything happen. i I believe that free will is the ultimate factor. That's part of my philosophical approach when it comes to Astrology.

I'm dealing with this transit right now... in the first house.Someone that I thought was reliable and would be there for me suddenly disappeared. And they did it on purpose. I don't really know why. But it's been hard realizing that I have no one I can really count on now. I don't know if this has anything to do with Saturn conjunct my pluto but I also started having major money problems. I hope it doesn't last because Saturn will be entering my second house once it's done cleaning up here. IP: Logged |

Hi Laura,Don't assume the worst yet, try reaching out to them directly. If after reaching out to them directly they still don't wanna be around .. then there's nothing we can do but move on. I'll be having this transit soon .. don't know what it's going to bring .. it's already been a very difficult 2 years with Pluto conjunct Venus and Pluto opp Moon .. anyway, reach out to them .. all the best. I'm right about to come into this transit, in my 7th house, no less...I'm feeling very adrift all of a sudden, though the Mercury Rx is not helping the matters any... Anyone else going through this one now? Care to share? IP: Logged |

I've had this transit in my 12th for a while now. It's the worst/best transit of your life! No joke. I'm dealing with this now and while it's kicked my ass it has taught me a lot. They say, "with great power comes great responsibility" which for me has totally defined this transit. I have a stellium in the 12th (Libra) with Saturn, Pluto, Mars, POF and Jupiter so it's been one wild ride with a lot of ups and downs for the past two years. Saturn finally moves out later this year so honestly cannot wait for it to be done - it's brought a lot of mixed emotions, transformation and structural changes that I honestly wasn't prepared for but am better because of it.

I had this transit last year. Pluto is conjunct asteroid Karma in my 5th house so it was a whole lot of karma going on. Saturn was also squaring my Sun/Venus in the 2nd. Ultimately, my partner ended things with me which forced me to move out and leave my entire life (and what I had thought was my future) behind. It was devastating at the time but these things do happen for a reason so although I believe it was karmic and the nature of the planets was such that events or "other" was forcing me to change, it boils down to how you handle it. Pluto is about power and transformation and Saturn is about discipline and structure and both planets are karmic in their way so depending on the house positions and aspects, you can get an idea of what energies will be at work. Here's the strange thing about this transit. I somehow only had it for a month or so. I'm not sure how. I checked it over n over again but that's how it long it lasted. But in that month, I was so tortured and troubled at work, it's not funny. The second Saturn left Pluto and started to move into my 9th house all the pressure came off and thank God, Saturn never came back to my Pluto again. But the pressure I felt at that time was so bad, I can't begin to explain. I'm just glad it's over and thank my lucky stars that it didn't last for 9 months.IP: Logged |
