Mars is exalted in Capricorn because a Cap Mars is a very focused Mars. Lots of ambition and the ability to get sh*t done. Not sure if it has much to do with sex drives.
Kind of like relating sociability to Pisces because Venus is in exalted in Pisces. Venus is exalted in Pisces because of the Universal Love thing that Pisces is all about. Not socializing per se.

Mars = drives of all kinds (including sex). Earth Mars are often lauded for their stamina. Capricorn is the strongest because of its focus...hence its exaltation and my original statement.

*Anyways, I thought we were talking theoretically?

I think for a female I have strong sexual appetite... I haven't had a partner that can keep up with me energy wise and especially imagination wise they haven't been able to keep up with me either... Even before I was sexually active I would dream/daydream about sex... I use to think something was seriously wrong with me. LOL. But, it doesn't matter how 'desperate' I get... I won't settle... LOL

Sun, Merc, Mars and Neptune in Sag
Venus in Scorpio
Moon in Taurus
Gemini Rising...

and my code name for sex is... Cheesecake. Lol

I won't complain if you give an example of Cap in certain signs, just wanted people to understand my question and how it is a general one, since there have been some other bad experiences

Like myself, I'd say I have a strong sex drive and noticed it rather young, always thought it was my Moon in Scorpio conjunct pluto and my pluto sextiles to venus/mars. But I also have Cap in venus/mars, in fact I have 5 planets in Cap. I was thinking about how Cap is an earth sign and obviously earth like earthly physical things. I was reading descriptions on my mars in Cap and how it said this placement gives a strong sex drive. So after reading that it caught my attention since I never thought of Cap that way. I guess maybe Cap doesn't get much attention for it and Scorpio steals the high sex drive spotlight? I don't know, just reading that it was reputable for Cap was something I didn't think they had a reputation for. And usually when people talk about Mars and high sex drives it's usually Scorpio or Aries that would be said.

Guess that would be because of your Taurus moon

BUT my Prog Mars has been in Cappy all my life. My natal Mars is @ 29 Saggie and right now it's at 25 Cappy... so maybe prog planets have a hand in this?

racole,

You have an angular Mars with your oppose/conjunct Ascendant/Descendant in 29'06 Gemini/Sagittarius. That's a very strong Mars influence. That indicates an extremely energetic person.

I really believe that aspects are a lot more important than zodiac sign placements which I put very little emphasis on.

also on a hunch, I checked to see if Mars or Venus was aspected to one of the big plutino objects (that means an object that has 2:3 orbital resonance with Neptune).

Ixion and Orcus are the big plutinos that are dwarf planet candidates, and those were the ones that I was focusing.

Ixion's mythology is actually very lusty. He was punished by Zeus for his sexual advances toward Hera. From Ixion's union with the fake Hera, Nephele, the centaurs descended from that union.

Orcus is named after the Etruscan God of the underworld. An Etruscan counterpart of Pluto.

I use no more than 3 degree orb for conjunction, opposition, trine, square to Pluto and its fellow transneptunian objects.
I use no more than 2 degree orb for sextile to them.
I use no more than 1 degree orb for quincunx, semisextile, semisquare, sesquiquadrate, quintile, biquintile to them.

Your Ixion is in 12'59 Scorpio, and that conjuncts your Venus in 10'38 Scorpio which is within the 3 degree orb.

Your Orcus is in 29'46 Cancer quincunx your Mars in 29'24 Sagittarius which is within the 1 degree orb.

Therefore you have dwarf planet candidate/plutino aspecting your Venus and Mars.

I also should add that your Venus is conjunct the transneptunian dwarf planet candidate Quaoar in 11'43 Scorpio. Quaoar is named after the Native American Tongva tribe creation deity. He was said to have created things through song and dance.

So you have a Venus-Ixion-Quaoar conjunction.

Also you have a strong Haumea influence. Haumea is a transneptunian dwarf planet, and so it's technically equal to Pluto,Makemake,Eris, and Ceres in astronomy.

It's named after the Hawaiian fertility creation goddess.

Your Haumea is in 17'52 Virgo square your Sun in 19'38 Sagittarius and Neptune in 19'33 Sagittarius.

You also have Mars contraparallel Haumea with 25 minutes of arc, and that's like having Mars oppose Haumea.
Contraparallels are similar to oppositions. They are declination (equatorial latitude) aspects.

I would say that those strong hard aspects to Haumea could indicate strong procreative drives which can be viewed as strong sex drive.

If Pluto, a transneptunian has to do with sexuality, I don't see why the other transneptunians don't.

Pluto was assigned rulership of Scorpio at a time when Pluto was thought to be a planet, large as our Earth and the only object that orbited beyond Neptune.

but now a whole bunch of transneptunian objects discovered. Pluto has lots of buddies including some big ones, especially Eris which is even larger than Pluto. Makemake and Haumea aren't much smaller than Pluto either.

Pluto's Perihelion (the point of orbit closest to the Sun) is in Scorpio.

racole,

you also have the following direct midpoint pictures involving Mars.

according to Robert Hand in his book HOROSCOPE SYMBOLS,Direct midpoint pictures (conjunction, opposition to midpoints) can indicate major themes.

Venus conjunct Mars/Node - '25
(love, value, relating combined with the integration of physical activity, drive, passion and connections, associations

Pluto conjunct Mars/Jupiter - '17
intensity combined with the integration of physical activity, drive, passion and expansion

Mars conjunct Moon/Jupiter - '08
physical activity, drive, passion combined with emotional nature, feelings and expansion

Neptune conjunct Mercury/Mars - '05
imagination combined with the integration of thinking and physical activity, drive, passion
(I'd say this configuration could be fantasy, sexual thoughts)

I also looked at geocentric planetary nodes:
(Nodes don't just pertain to the moon. The nodes are intersection between the orbital planes of 2 objects. Therefore all objects have nodes and not just the Moon. The astronomers even record the nodes of all objects that they discover. Evolutionary Astrologer Jeffrey Wolf Green uses geocentric planetary nodes.)

orbs
conjunction,opposition,trine,square,sextile -2 degrees
semisextile,quincunx - 1 degree

half the orb for
minor planets (that also includes Pluto)

You have Geocentric South Mars Node in 10'50 Aries, and that quincunxes your Venus with only 11 minutes of arc. That might also factor into your sexuality.

there is more

you also have

Geocentric South Venus Node in 18'14 Sagittarius conjunct your Neptune with 9 minutes of arc and sextile your Pluto with 29 minutes of arc

Geocentric South Neptune Node in 10'06 Aquarius squares your Venus with 32 minutes of arc. Your love nature is connected to collective Neptune energy. It suggests that your love nature is connected to collective inspiration.

so you have a Venus-Neptune node double whammy which could indicate the idealistic love nature which can be very romantic and include sensual fantasies.

Your Moon also aspects the Geocentric Pluto Nodes
sextile Geocentric North Pluto Node in 20'44 Cancer with 50 minutes of arc and trine Geocentric South Pluto Node in 19'10 Capricorn. Your emotional nature is connected to collective Pluto energy. It suggests emotional intensity connected to collective transformation.

"Well actually - Glaucus is a Scorpio with Aqua Mars. "

I really don't like being referred to as a Scorpio. That's like referring to me as Black. I am more than just a Scorpio with other placements and aspects in my chart just like I am more than just Black with my being multiracial.

just my Sun in Scorpio is highly modified by other things like
trine Moon - 2'10 (1'24 in Right Ascension)
quincunx Saturn - '13
oppose/conjunct the true Lunar Apogee (same as conjunct true Black Moon Lilith)- '21
conjunct Geocentric South Eris Node - '09
conjunct Geocentric North Eris Node - '10
conjunct Ixion - '05
conjunct Quaoar - 2'58 (1'47 in Right Ascension)

in Right Ascension (Equatoral Longitude) which astronomers use to locate objects in the heavens:
Sun oppose Sedna - '44
Sun quincunx Varuna - '04

Eris is a transneptunian dwarf planet
Sedna,Quaoar,Varuna, and Ixion are transneptunian dwarf planet candidates

but yeah.....I like to go beyond being just a "Scorpio" to the point that I even consider the constellation

my Sun is actually in the constellation of Virgo (2 days before Sun entered in the Constellation of Libra......the actual Virgo constellation is the largest of the zodiac ecliptic constellations)

I have a Sag Mars/progressed to Cap too but I wouldn't say that my sex drive is above average. It's not a very strong Mars, it's in the 6th. But it does get a mutual reception trine from Jupiter in Aries.

I also have Eros in Cap (in my 8th).

My 15 yr old's sister's chart is made up solely of Capricorn and Scorpio and she's very sexual, looks like a woman, already slept with guys..her behaviour shocks ME, the biggest rebel without a cause out of them all.

But I'd have to say that Taurus could challenge Capricorn in terms of sexual drive (and talent)

Good point

Actually I thought about Taurus in regards to sex drive early

It is the sign associated with sensuality, and its the opposite sign of Scorpio. It's even the sign of Pluto's aphelion (the point of the orbit farthest from the Sun).

Taurus is ruled by Venus. Venus is named after the Roman counterpart of Aphrodite.
In the mythology, Venus/Aphrodite was a highly promiscuous goddess who was having lots of sex with other men even though she was married to Vulcan/Hephaestus. She didn't just have sex with gods like Mars/Ares who she had Eros,Anteros with. She also had Phobos and Deimos (Mars' moons are named after them) with him too. She even had sex with mortals too. She had sex with the Trojan prince, Anchises. From their union, came Aeneas, the mythical ancestor of Rome.

While my sister got the Capricorn/scorpio natal, I copped a Taurus Venus and a Libra moon AND my Nth & Sth node are in Taurus & Scorpio (2nd & 8th house respectively)...its little wonder I used sexuality/sensuality/art to make an income. It was the only job I loved, enjoyed and excelled in (LOL)

From experience, Capricorns are more likely to keep going and going and going like a machine with an impressive array of gymnastical acrobatics, as if the act was a race, a demonstration of physical performance and an exercise like any other physical activity where orgasm is the achievement (and we all know Cappi's are famous for their height-reaching ambition) whereas with a Taurus its like eating the most richest, smoothest chocolate from Belgium and losing all sense of reality cos its just an overload of all senses (how Venus-Taurus is that? Its ALL the senses they love to indulge, that'd include food hahaha)
